It wasn't until he went to CZW where he could show off his hardcore skills. He feuded with BLK OUT and defeated Ruckus to win the CZW World title only to lose it 2 months later. He would side with CZW in their promotional war with ROH and beat down BJ Whitmer and along with Chris Hero and Necro Butcher beat Samoa Joe, Whitmer and Adam Pearce in a street fight at ROH's 100th show. 33. Mitsuhiro Matsunaga Highest Ranked:#5 Matsunaga started his wrestling career in FMW as part of the martial arts division. He participated in FMW's first barbed wire match with Gary Blayman against Tarzan Goto and Atsushi Onita. 32. Sexxxy Eddy Highest Ranked: #12 Even though he may wear the most revealing tights ever, Sexxxy Eddy has had his hardcore wars, especially in CZW. He first became a "hardcore legend" during the 2004 Tournament of Death in a match where he severed an artery in his arm and blood shot up like a fountain, to which Eddy drank from it. He had to forfeit his shot at the tournament since he had to be rushed to a hospital. Later that year, he participated in the Cage of Death match with Team Ca$h, where he did a moonsault off the top of the cage with a garbage can on him. The next year, he lost in the first round of the T.O.D. after JC Bailey put thumbtacks in his trunks and kicked him in the nuts. He would win the CZW World Junior Heavyweight title and the CZW Tag team titles Ca$h, Nate Webb and Bailey. 31. Al Snow Highest Ranked: #13 Al Snow sure had a lot of bad gimmicks. Wheater it was being a ninja or a Shawn Michaels replacement, it was all the same...he lost. When he went down to ECW as rocker-jobber, Leif Cassady, Snow suddenly became insane and started talking to a plastic head and thus a popular gimmick was born. Snow would feud with Shane Douglas for the ECW world title and before he was scheduled to win the belt, WWF called him back up since the Head gimmick got over. He participated in the one night tournament to crown a new WWF champion at Survivor Series 98, beating Jeff Jarrett in the first round but losing to Mankind in the 2nd. He would form the J.O.B. squad with 2 Cold Scorpio, Hardcore Holly and Gillberg and win the WWF Hardcore and European title. He would also win the WWF Tag Team titles with Mankind. After losing Head because of some stupid reason, he would switch new "partners" until he got a dog named Pepper and we all know what happens next. He would then go on to become OVW's head trainer until WWE seperated from them. Tribute Video: Al Snow vs. Road Dogg for the WWF Hardcore title www.youtube.com/watch?v=1at-rAsPk1c

There's some major nonsense here. Punk being rated higher than Douglas, Pogo and Kasai as a hardcore wrestler is sheer idiocy. And Holly going above all them and many others is also ridiculous. I'd also hardly call Edge or Jerry Lynn great hardcore wrestlers, or to be honest even just hardcore wrestlers. Certainly not Lynn. At this rate Justin Credible will be #1. Here's some hints on the next 5 Before he started dancing, this guy was the baddest M'Fr on earth A guy who started up one of the most violent companies in the US A guy who should be the present of hardcore A guy who is credited for importing and innovating the deathmatch style in Japan a guy who's darkside gimmick was stolen by Hulk Hogan 1- Taz 2- Zandig. 3- I dunno. Necro Butcher? 4- Onita? Although it wasn't imported by him so, Abdullah the Butcher? 5- No idea at all. Darkside Hayabusa was way after nWo Hogan.

25. Hayabusa Highest Ranking: #6 Eiji Ezaki began his wrestling career training in the FMW dojo. Ezaki adopted the Hayabusa gimmick in 1993 while in Mexico. In Mexico, he would learn the lucha libre style from wrestling instructor Rey Misterio, Sr. He then returned to Japan to face fellow wrestler Jushin Liger in a well received match. Hayabusa has wrestled very dangerous matches, involving barbed wire and explosives. After one "Exploding Cage" match, he was rushed to the hospital due to severe burns. Hayabusa's rivals included Mr. Gannosuke, The Gladiator, and Onita himself, while he would frequently team with Jinsei Shinzaki. Ezaki occasionally altered his character to the "Darkside of Hayabusa" or the maskless "H". Hayabusa wrestled one match in ECW at Heatwave '98. He and Jinsei Shinzaki challenged and lost to Rob Van Dam and Sabu for the ECW Tag Team Titles. In October 2001, Hayabusa suffered an injury during a match against Mammoth Sasaki while attempting a springboard moonsault. His foot caught the ropes and he landed on his head, paralyzing him. Hayabusa was considered the heart and soul of FMW, and after his departure, FMW slowly folded Tribute Video: Hayabusa vs. Sabu www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gk4Z4h_-fYg

Early in his career he was one of the staples of AJPW's junior heavyweight division. After returning to the ring in 1989, he formed FMW and centered the promotion around deathmatches like the ones he saw in the Memphis wrestling scene and innovate them. He would go on to win multiple Brass Knuckles heavyweight and tag titles along with the street fight six man tag titles. He has been inducted into the Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame in 1996.
