He's small (billed at 185), so he'll probably get the ECW title at most. I don't know. His Velocity match with Cena looked pretty good, so the size difference between Danielson and Cena (who is hoss. A mobile hoss, but a hoss nonetheless) did not seem to be an issue. If they don't mind running with it, it might not turn out too badly. Besides, I would not be shocked if the first post-HHH generation of WWE superstars are not smaller anyways. In that case, Danielson and Sydal are tailor made to progress the WWE.

I'm sure the WWe would play up Danielsons 'American Dragon' moniker by bringing him in in Karate Gi pants w/ white stars on blue going down one leg and red and white stripes on the other.
What I'd like to see is AmDrag coming in as a heel enforcer for William Regal. The announcers scoff at his lack of size but once the bell rings he makes short work stretching guys into submission.

They can't do that. AmDrag isn't British. He could be the new Diesel, since HBK trained him. They could keep up the naming scheme by calling him Hemi.

Honestly, as long as they let him keep being the Danielson that's "TOO GOOD TO WRESTLE IN FRONT OF US PRICKS"!, I'd be down for it. He'd be an amazing heel.

He should defiantly go, he would be a great fit. Like others have said, he would be prefect to replace the void left by guys like Angle, Benoit, and Guerrero. Chris Benoit got over by being the great ring technician and nothing more basically, so why can't Danielson?
Even if Danielson goes to WWE, gets saddled with a bad gimmick, jobs, and is later released, would you really think any less of him? He would go right back to ROH or to Japan and be the same Bryan Danielson he was before anyway.
Why not take a shot at it, you never know how big of a star you can be until you try.

I say if the wwe offers him a good deal and gives him a legit chance of breaking out and being star then he should go. He has plenty of supporters in the company including the best friend of the most powerful man in the company. He is well traveled, wrestles a pretty safe yet brutal looking style full of storytelling and psychology that the WWE loves , can work great and believable matches against big men (his match against Morishima is a great example of him wrestling a "smart" match against the much stronger opponent) , and he has developed a solid character.

I'm not so sure he'd take WWE by storm as much as some posters here, but he's got the chops to do damn near ANYTHING you throw at him better than most wrestlers. So I'll say yes and hope that if he does (doesn't he practically have an open invitation?) he proves me wrong when I'm hesitant.

I would hate it if my fav. wrestler joined the E. I mean, I couldn't blame him at all....but the thoughts of never hearing "The Final Countdown" again as his intro is saddening. I also do not want to see him cut back to 3 minute matches and have his moveset dumbed down.
I do not want to see him became a bland shell of his former self...a la CM Punk.
or get lost in the minors...a la Colt Cabana

I think to piss off the IWC they should give him a "Retrarded Ice Cream Man" and have him job repeatedly. That would be hilarious.

Honestly, who wouldn't want to hear 80,000 people at Wrestlemania either chant "WHOOA. WHOOOOOA. WHOOOOOOOOOOOA!" or, whenever they do a Philly or Chicago show, the always-awesome "YOU'RE GONNA GET YOUR SMURFING HEAD KICKED IN!"
Wholeheartedly approve, I think his "Wrestle how I want, when I want" attitude is perfect for WWE, considering how many GMs and the like they seem to run through.

Yay, another guy that half the board complains about him not being used enough and the other other complaining about how the rest of the board overrates him. I can't wait.

If they do bring him in, PLEASE give him an entrance theme that sounds like the beginning of "The Final Countdown." PLEEEEEEASE?!

No. All the 10 minute Danielson matches in the world couldn't get me to think this is a good idea. Haven't seen a Punk match since Punk: The Final Chapter. And the last Bryan Danielson match I see will be the one at his tribute show (If he ever sells out).

Honestly, as much as I like him myself, I just don't think he'd get over in WWE. I read that Danielson got over pretty well with the crowd. He may've been billed from that hometown, and Cade is a good heel, but still, if they're reacting, it's something. If Danielson is pushed properly as a great technical wrestler like a Benoit or an Angle, he'll get over. His style anyway is so much mat wrestling, where he can work himself around bigger wrestlers. Plus, if the crowd was into him, despite his size against Cade, he would have a chance. Cade is like, 6'5, he's a big fella.

Danielson is boring. There, its been said.
I can handle pretty much anyones style, and I can handle any gimmick... im not saying I like it but I can handle it.
However... I am a wrestling fan. That said... I like to be entertained.
Most ppl fall into that 2nd category. Sadly perhaps, wrestling DOES NOT get anyone over..... style/character does. PROOF: CM Punk/HBK/Taz/ Snake Roberts... theyre all up there on my 'mark list' but if either dude worked the exact same way but cut dry toast promos, dressed in an NCAA style singlet, had a 50s stlye marine haircut, and tried to get HUGELY over on their work... not so much.
I like ArmDrag (misread it the 1st time I ever saw it... and now I just like to type it)... I havent seen a ton of his stuff but ive seen enough to know what he does. He just seems bland. Dan Severn bland. Bad thing is if he goes 'up north' hes going to labeled a sell out, itll hurt ROH, he'll have to repackage (current schtick isnt going to cut it) .... and even those who LOVE the guy will turn on him if only a little.
Sad, yet true.
Edit: That said.... IF they pop ECW into a smarky-smark show with a mid-card belt and fill the roster with smaller guys and workrate guys... hmmmmmmm.

He had a lot of matches on Velocity and got in a good deal of offense. He looked pretty good actually. I just can't see him succeeding there, but money is money and if he could get a deal then power to him.

I wholeheartedly agree that Danielson would be a great person to fill the void created when Angle and Benoit left.
Which is why I fully would expect WWE to hire Bryan Danielson. And give him a "Evil Dentist Who Is Deaf" gimmick.
OK just kidding on that last part, but my point is that he absolutely would be required to change his style up to conform to the WWE standards. But if Angle and Benoit taught us anything, it's that a no nonsense technical wrestler can fit in today's WWE -- and get over.

I love Danielson's work, and I only wish him the best.
But with that said, if he does sign a WWE contract it will break my heart.
