Results:
Round One:
1. Baisaiku Arrow d. The Miracle Violence Connection at 22:00 when KENTA used a La Magistral Cradle on Steve Williams. Baisaiku Arrow showed great chemistry here, isolating Williams and Gordy away from each other, breaking up any pins or submissions from them, and guarding each other when they tried to do so. However, when Terry Gordy, the illegal man at the time was CRITICALED by a Go 2 Sleep at 18:18, it became a two-on-one situation, giving Baisaiku Arrow the win.
2. Chain Lariats d. Jungle Fever at 25:17 when Bruiser Brody used a King Kong Knee Drop on Tiger Mask I. This was a glorified handicap match, as Kenta Kobashi did absouletly nothing during the entire match. However, Brody did a good job at beating up Tiger Mask, and keeping Kamala at bay.
3. Thunder In Paradise d. Sex And Violence at 21:18 when Jun Akiyama used a Exploder on Danshoku Dino. Despite his miraclous win over Hulk Hogan, niether man of Sex And Violence was able to use that momentum to their advantage, being smashed on all across the arena by Thunder In Paradise, who weren't exactly afarid to use a few chairs.
4. Team AJPW d. Nigel And The Kendo Sticks at 23:32 when Toshiaki Kawada used a Strech Plum on Nigel McGuiness. A back-and-forth tag match saw one team work over the arms, while the others chose the neck. At one time, there was a continious entering and leaving the ring that was seemingly on a loop. However, McGuiness eventually tapped when Ka Shin was too far away to make the save.
5. Big And Tall d. Unstoppable at 25:45 when Kevin Nash used a Powerbomb Whip on Bill Goldberg. Despite Akira Taue being CRITICALED at 16:25, Kevin Nash was able to hold off a two-on-one situation, bumping Vader off the apron and planting Goldberg with the Powerbomb Whip for the seemingly impossible win.
6. Team WCW d. Perfect Strangers at 24:33 when Bam Bam Bigelow used a Muscle Bomb Press on Naomichi Marufuji. Neither man of Perfect Strangers was quite able to gain any true offense on Bam Bam Bigelow, who looked like an absolute monster here. Sting, on the other hand, was quite easy to.
7. Kings Of The Suplex d. Go 2 Hell at 24:49 when Samoa Joe used a Back Head Knee Kick on CM Punk. This was more of a chair-swinging brawl then a technical match which is what I did not predict. Quite a bit of Joe/Punk interactions which was fine by me. Muta wasn't really that much invovled though.
8. Tiny Titans d. Wolf's Den at 22:34 when Giant Baba used a STF on Genichiro Tenryu. Baba and Williams worked suprisnigly well here, isolating Tenryu away from the Father of Puroresu. It was also quite strange to see Petey Williams use the Canadian Destroyer on Rikidozan.
Round Two:
1. Jungle Fever d. The Miracle Violence Connection at 30:39 when Kamala used a Stomach Claw on Terry Gordy. Jungle Fever bounced back off a demoralizing loss to Chain Lariats, picking apart Gordy and never letting Williams a chance to help out his partner. Despite this, Kamala should try to Splash his opponents when they are right side up.
2. Chain Lariats d. Baisaiku Arrow at 16:12 when Kenta Kobashi used a Orange Crush Bomb on KENTA. Kobashi was much more active today, which was nice. Baisaiku Arrow as in control most of the match, until after a brawl on the outside, Kobashi nailed KENTA with an Orange Crush Bomb out of nowhere, and Hayabusa didn't bother to try to break up the pin, despite being close. Certianly a bit odd, to say the least.
3. Team AJPW d. Thunder In Paradise when Toshiaki Kawada used a Soulful Powerbomb on Jushin Liger. A battle of the all-stars saw Thunder in Paradise seem off as a tag team today, as they never seemed like they were on point. The crowd really liked it though.
4. Nigel And The Kendo Sticks d. Sex And Violence at 27:11 when Kendo Ka Shin used a Victory Roll Cross Arm Bar on Danshoku Dino. Poor Dino's arm was nearly pratically broken by Ka Shin and McGuiness, using every spare second to target his arm, while Morishima continously broke up each Submission attempt, until he was knocked off the apron, leaving Dino no where to go.
5. Perfect Strangers d. Unstoppable at 19:20 when Yuji Nagata used a Exploder on Vader. For a team name like that, Goldberg and Vader sure seem easily stoppable. Vader had to be saved numerous times by Goldberg, as Nagata and Marufuji's numerous Submissions, Double-Teams, and Kicks left him bloody and severly weakened. However, when Vader foolishly tagged himself back in when Goldberg was putting a number on Marufuji, Marufuji tagged out, and the pattern began again, this time with a pin.
6. Team WCW d. Big And Tall at 19:28 when Sting used a Face Crusher on Akira Taue. A closely-fought tag match that saw a most suprising finish to it. Also, it seems that Bam Bam Bigelow gets short of breath very easily.
7. Go 2 Hell d. Tiny Titans at 22:17 when The Great Muta used a Rounding Body Press on Giant Baba. This match was nearly 3/4 Muta/Baba, probably why Muta was the one to pin Baba with his type of Moonsault that clear over half-way across the mat. a funny thing to note is Williams tried his own type of Moonsault to break up the pin, but missed.
8. Wolf's Den d. Kings Of The Suplex at 16:59 when Genichiro Tenryu used a Powerbomb on Alexander Otsuka. Not even 30 seconds in, Tenryu would bust open Otsuka with a Guh Punch. Also, Rikidozan chopped the holy Hell out of Samoa Joe, while Tenryu dropped Otsuka with the Powerbomb to win.
Round Three:
1. Chain Lariats d. The Miracle Violence Connection at 16:03 when Kenta Kobashi used a Burning Hammer on Steve Williams. A hard-fought battle that saw Bruiser Brody knocked off the apron at least seven times. However, it took 3 consecutive Burning Hammers to put down Steve Williams by Kobashi to win this time.
2. Jungle Fever d. Baisaiku Arrow at 17:52 when Tiger Mask I used a Tiger Suplex on KENTA. Jungle Fever were working very well as a team, gelling together quite nicely. Baisaiku Arrow, on the other hand did not and for a second time, Hayabusa let KENTA get pinned while he was close enough to break it up.
3. Thunder In Paradise d. Nigel And The Kendo Sticks at 22:13 when Jushin Liger used a German Suplex on Kendo Ka Shin. This was a match choked filled with Submission holds. Also, McGuiness thankfully doesn't spam the Lariats in the game. However, Liger was able to put away his old rival when McGuiness felt the after-effects of an Inferno Exploder.
4. Team AJPW d. Sex And Violence at 21:36 when Toshiaki Kawada used a Soulful Powerbomb on Takeshi Morishima. Despite not having any wins, Sex And Violence took it to Team AJPW with Takeshi Morishima doing it primarily. However, one man can't beat two, and eventually he was overwhelmed with Dino being no help whatsoever.
5. Unstoppable d. Team WCW at 19:29 when Vader used a Wild Bomb on Bam Bam Bigelow. A battle of the WCW alumni was fierce and frantic, chairs were used, and guys with agility you would never see used it. But, Vader would use a Powerbomb on his old partner Bigelow to put Unstoppable back on the map.
6. Perfect Strangers d. Big And Tall at 23:39 when Naomichi Marufuji used a School Boy on Kevin Nash. For two guys who really hate each other, Nagata and Marufuji sure seem to work really good together. And also, Marufuji managed to get a win on his other hated rival Nash, so there's something. Taue didn't do too much in this except for brawling on the outside.
7. Wolf's Den d. Go 2 Hell at 26:11 when Genichiro Tenryu used a Powerbomb on The Great Muta. This was a match that lived up to it's potentially with near-falls galore. However, Cm Punk, the illegal man at the time, was CRITICALED by Tenryu's 53 years Old, leaving The Great Muta in a Handicap situation, which he could not win.
8. Tiny Titans d. Kings Of The Suplex at 12:38 when Giant Baba CRITCIALED Alexander Otsuka with a Running Neckbreaker. Baba and Williams absolutely destroyed Otsuka, isolating him, and using all sorts of Double-Teams, Combination Strikes, Quick Strikes, and the like. Joe was never even in the match.
Round Four:
1. Thunder In Paradise d. The Miracle Violence Connection at 16:38 when Jushin Liger CRITICALED Steve Williams. with a Del Ver Brainbuster. It's offical: Jushin Liger is this League's CRITICAL Machine. Williams and Gordy have now both been K.O.'d by it, and they need to step it up if they want to get back on tract, or they are going nowhere. Thunder In Paradise has bounced back well though after their rather bad loss to Team AJPW.
2. Sex And Violence d. Baisaiku Arrow at 13:08 when Takeshi Morishima used a Powerbomb on Hayabusa. Well, Sex And Violence lived up to the Violence in their namesake, brawling all over the Arena. this time though, KENTA let Hayabusa down as he was on the apron when he had a chance to break it up. Some dissension?
3. Team AJPW d. Jungle Fever at 23:53 when Toshiaki Kawada used a Soulful Powerbomb on Kamala. The Team AJPW Winning Streak continues with Kawada hoisting up the gargantuan Kamala and Powerbombing him with ease, which makes me wonder if Kawada is 100% clean.........
4. Chain Lariats d. Nigel And The Kendo Sticks at 19:24 when Kenta Kobashi used a Head-Hold Lariat on Nigel McGuiness. Kenta Kobashi's matches are so ridiculously boring and repetitive, that I'm sure I can close my eyes, and I'll be able to call the action correctly. Problem is his Special Skill doesn't allow him to Submit, which sort of screwed McGuiness and Ka Shin.
5. Go 2 Hell d. Unstoppable at 20:18 when CM Punk CRITICALED Vader with a Go 2 Sleep. Yes, you read that right, CM Punk managed to hoist Vader onto his Shoulders and managed to Knee him in the Head with enough power to K.O. him without breaking his Knee. Truly this is a good week for him.
6. Kings Of The Suplex d. Big And Tall at 18:36 when Alexander Otsuka used a Dragon Suplex on Kevin Nash. True to real life, Joe and Nash fought all over the place. At one point, Nash even used a Sledgehammer to pummel Joe, but it was Otsuka to put away Nash.
7. Perfect Strangers d. Tiny Titans at 27:14 when Yuji Nagata used the Nagata Lock III on Petey Williams. A valiant showing by Petey Williams who went over 20 minuets of abuse by Nagata and Marufuji before finally submitting to the pain of it. Giant Baba tried to break it up, but his natural slowness and his two oppenents cutting him off made it impossible.
8. Wolf's Den d. Team WCW at 22:36 when Rikidozan used a Half Boston Crab on Bam Bam Bigelow. Rikidozan and Genichiro Tenryu absouletly domionated Bigelow ans Sting with chops and Headbutts that busted open both men. To be honest, I was suprised that both men were able to hang on for so long, but it didn't last for very long.
Round Five:
1. The Miracle Violence Connection d. Sex And Violence at 15:03 when Terry Gordy used a Wild Bomb on Takeshi Morishima. It looks like the MVC might be starting to get back on tract after a pretty embarrising losing streak, as they manhadled Morishima and Dino before Gordy dumped his illigitmiate son onto his head.
2. Baisaiku Arrow d. Thunder In Paradise at 22:44 when KENTA used the Baisaiku Knee Kick on Jun Akiyama. Well, it seems that Baisaiku Arrow has finally gotten on the same page again, while Thunder In Paradise seem to be faltering, as Akiyama should have tagged out in the end and had the chance to do so many times, but refused to.
3. Jungle Fever d. Nigel And The Kendo Sticks at 19:48 when Tiger Mask I used a Tiger Suplex on Kendo Ka Shin. Tiger Mask didn't really need his partner in the later part as he controlled Ka Shin with ease, getting many near falls and counters.
4. Team AJPW d. Chain Lariats at 21:46 when Toshiaki Kawada used a Soulful Powerbomb on Bruiser Brody. In this battle of the un-defeated teams and co-leaders of the chase, Mutoh and Kawada put away Brody and Kobashi by isolating Brody away from Kobashi and his Laraitfest to become the #1 team in the Tournament right now. Also, it seems like Kawada is the work horse of his team.
5. Unstoppable d. Kings Of The Suplex at 20:42 when Bill Goldberg used the Jackhammer on Samoa Joe. Well, it looks like Unstoppable tredges on with another win in their back pocket. Also, Goldberg has finally got his win over Samoa Joe now, which has been bothering him for some time now.
6. Big And Tall d. Go 2 Hell at 26:51 when Kevin Nash used a Half Crab on CM Punk. For a match between Stablemates, this sure was one bloody brawl as everbody but The Great Muta was busted open. But, Nash and Taue scored one over their friends today.
7. Wolf's Den d. Perfect Strangers at 32:07 when Rikidozan used a Grounded Sleeper Hold on Naomichi Marufuji. This was the longest match in the Tourny yet, and one of the closest to the line. Nagata and Marufuji took Tenryu and Rikidozan to the brinnk, but they were too strong for them, as Marufuji eventually succumbed to unconsiousness. I really wish I had the tools to videotape matches and put it on Youtube, because this match deserved it.
8. Tiny Titans d. Team WCW at 22:38 when Petey Williams used the Canadian Destroyer on Bam Bam Bigelow. Despite both members of Tiny Titans being beaten on by Team WCW, Petey Williams was able to make a comeback when Bigelow missed a High Risk Manever, and doing the seemingly impossible of executing the Canadian Destroyer on him to win.
Round Six:
1. The Miracle Violence Coonection d. Team AJPW at 28:14 when Terry Gordy used a Wild Bomb on Toshiaki Kawada. The MVC must have had a fire litten under their asses because they just beat the undefeated #1 seeds with remarkable ease. Mutoh also let Kawada hanging when Gordy Powerbombed him, which is a bit worrying.
2. Baisaiku Arrow d. Nigel And The Kendo Sticks at 15:14 when Hayabusa used a Falcon Arrow on Nigel McGuiness. It might have not been the best idea to team mcGuiness and Ka Shin together as they showed zero teamwork in this match as they made no effort to help each other out when they were being double-teamed, resulting in a easy victory for Baisaiku Arrow.
3. Jungle Fever d. Thunder In Paradise at 17:10 when Tiger Mask I used a Tiger Neck Chancery on Jushin Liger. The good news: Thunder In Paradise are back on the right foot with each other. The bad news: That didn't matter as Jungle Fever divided them up and beat them up. Speaking of which, it seems that Jungle Fever is making a come back.
4. Chain Lariats d. Sex And Violence at 11:31 when Bruiser Brody used a Canadian Backbreaker on Danshoku Dino. Chain Lariats were obviously in a bad mood about losing in the last Round, so they destroyed Dino to prove a point and to relieve stress. But, on the other hand, they won with a Canadian Backbreaker, and I'm a sucker for Old School moves.
5. Unstoppable d. Tiny Titans at 15:52 when Bill Goldberg CRITICALED Giant Baba with the Jackhammer. This match was a bit odd, as it was a even contest with neither side even getting two counts or big moves on each other, and then BAM! A freak CRITCIAL out of nowhere. On the other hand, Unstoppable is slowly starting to live up to it's name now.
6. Big And Tall d. Wolf's Den at 20:46 when Kevin Nash used a Powerbomb Whip on Genichiro Tenryu. This was suprising as Nash and Taue were able to hang with and defeat a top tier team in the League. But, when Nash used a Sledgehammer quite liberally on Tenryu, it allowed them to take the win.
7. Perfect Strangers d. Go 2 Hell at 15:12 when Yuji Nagata used a Lift Back Drop Hold on The Great Muta. It seems that Nagata and Marufuji are back on good terms again, as they isolated Muta from Punk, and did constant Double-Teams on him, and busted him open with an errant kick. This might also be the first time that Muta was out-violenced in the League, as Marufuji went to town on him with a piece of a Table.
8. Kings Of The Suplex d. Team WCW at 26:24 when Samoa Joe used a Aztec Suplex on Sting. A excellent match between two of the lesser ranked teams that saw Sting take to the Air several times, Otsuka Giant Swinging Bigelow, and Joe accidently bumping into the ref as soon as he got up from being knocked down by Bigelow.
Round Seven:
1.The Miracle Violence Connection d. Nigel And The Sickles at 19:24 when Steve Williams used a Murder Back Drop on Kendo Ka Shin. From the looks of it, I think I can say that a Nigel And The Kendo Sticks comeback is slim to none now. They showed no teamwork at all, and were generally just fodder to Gordy and Williams.
2. Team AJPW d. Baisaiku Arrow at 16:11 when keiji Mutoh used a Rounding Body Press on KENTA. Well, it seems that Team AJPW is back on tract, and Mutoh scored the win for his team for the first time by using a Moonsault that went over half-way across the Ring. Too bad for Baisaiku Arrow though, who were starting to win again.
3. Jungle Fever d. Sex and Violence at 20:49 when Tiger Mask I used a Screw High Kick on Takeshi Morishima. A vailiant showing by Sex And Violence, but it was all for naught, as Jungle Fever's Kamala destroyed both Morishima and Dino in the later part of the match, leaving Tiger Mask I as clean-up crew to Kamala's rampage.
4. Chain Lariats d. Thunder in Paradise at 11:00 when Bruiser Brody CRITICALED Jushin Liger with a King Kong Knee Drop. I am honestly wondering if I should give the name "Unstoppable" to Brody and Kobashi instead of Goldberg and Vader, as Bruiser Brody completly destroyed both Akiyama and Liger. Hell, Kobashi wasn't even in the match. Also, it looks like Liger got a taste of his own medicine as he was the K.O.'d here.
5. Unstoppable d. Wolf's Den at 19:04 when Bill Goldberg used the Jackhammer on Genichiro Tenryu. It seems that Unstoppable is staring to cut it's way out of the lower bracket with continious victiories. Also, Wolf's Den may want to regroup before it slips down any further, as they are staring to lose more as of late.
6. Big And Tall d. Tiny Titans at 30:34 when Kevin Nash CRITICALED Petey Williams with a Powerbomb Whip. The opening part of the match was similar to Double Vision, as Baba and Taue opened it up, who werer wearing the exact same ring gear as one another, making it a bit confusing. Also, Baba was CRITICALED at 19:17 by a Powerbomb Whip, leaving Williams in a two-on-one situation, and hard as he tried, Williams was eventually overwhelmed and K.O.'d.
7. Perfect Strangers d. Kings Of the Suplex at 25:11 when Naomichi Marufuji used a Tiger Driver on Alexander Otsuka. The most unlikely team to win continues on with another win on a team I personally picked to be a team that could go all of the way. Well ,then again, a video game doesn't know of the fued, I guess.
8. Go 2 Hell d. Team WCW at 18:31 when The Great Muta used a Rounding Body Press on Sting. This was unique match solely for the fact that Bam Bam didn't get winded during it, which is seemingly impossible. Despite this, Muta got the W for his team by beating the guy who was orignially supposed to be his partner.
Round Eight:
1. Unstoppable d. the Miracle Violence Connection at 26:26 when Vader used a Dragon Sleeper on Steve Williams. A hard-hitting match bewtween four mosters that didn't see a CRITICAL? That's a bit of a let-down to me. Speaking of which, when did Vader ever do moves like the Dragon Sleeper or Fujiwara Armbar?
2. Big And Tall d. Baisiaku Arrow at 23:38 when Kevin Nash used a Sledgehammer Shot on Hayabusa. It seems that Kevin Nash's new focal point in his arsenal is the use of a Sledgehammer nowadays which he used quite liberally on both members of Baisaiku Arrow during the match, even busting KENTA open with it.
3. Jungle Fever d. Perfect Strangers at 19:11 when Tiger Mask I used a Vertical German Suplex on Naomichi Marufuji A fine showing of both Nagata and Marufuji, but Marufuji was overwhelmed by Tiger Mask I, while Nagata was dealing with Kamala and his rather large Teeth on the outside, prompting a loss to the two.
4. Team WCW d. Chain Lariats at 19:53 when Bam Bam Bigelow CRITICALED Bruiser Brody with a Fire Thunder Driver. I do believe this Smily can describe my feelings about this match: . Yes, it was a one-sided affair with Brody continously being crushed under Bigelow's weight before getting K.O.'d by his FTD.
5. Thunder In Paradise d. Go 2 Hell at 32:04 when Jushin Liger used a Cross Arm Bar on CM Punk. Well, it seems that Thunder In Paradise have finally gotten off their brief losing streak and are back on good terms with each other, which is nice. I also noticed that Muta doesn't really do a whole lot of wrestling, just brawling all over the place.
6. Kings Of The Suplex d. Sex And Violence at 20:17 when Alexander Otsuka used a Cross Arm Bar on Danshoku Dino. It was not probably the best idea for Dino to try to go to the mat with Otsuka, who handed him his ass to him there numerous times in the match, the last leading to a Submission victory. Also, there were a good deal of Morishima/Joe interactions in the match, which was nice.
7. Team AJPW d. Tiny Titans at 21:19 when Toshiaki Kawada used a Gamengiri on Giant Baba. This match saw Kawada finally get the chance to air out his problems with Giant Baba on how he was booked in AJPW with the only way he knows how: By kicking him in the face repeatedly. Oh , and Mutoh and Williams did stuff too.
8. Nigel And The Kendo Sticks d. Wolf's Den at 4:05 when Kendo Ka Shin CRITICALED Rikidozan with a Flying Cross Arm Bar. Well, I guess McGuiness and Ka Shin decided not to take no crap from people anymore, and got a freak CRITICAL on Rikidozan. Maybe this will mark a new chapter for them...
Round Nine:
1. The Miracle Violence Combination d. Big And Tall at 21:31 when Terry Gordy used a Wild Bomb on Akira Taue. With the exception of Kevin Nash, this was a re-union of 90's AJPW alumni. However, Nash was unable to make a difference with his Sledgehammer this time, as he was busy fighting over it with Williams, while Gordy planted Akira Taue with his mighty version of the Powerbomb to win.
2. Baisaiku Arrow d. Unstoppable at 22:25 when Hayabusa used the H Edge on Bill Goldberg. This was most definitely a suprise vitory in the Tournament of the small Jr.'s defeating the mighty CRITICAL Machines clenaley in the middle of the Ring, without a Roll-up of Flash Cradle of some kind. Kind of similar to their match with the MVC.
3. Jungle Fever d. Team WCW at 14:09 when Kamala used a Muscle Bomb Press on Sting. This match was a little different as Kamala wasn't Tiger Mask's back-up, as he was in the majority of the match for his team. Also, he finally both 1. Did his Finisher, and 2. Did it when the victim was right-side-up.
4. Perfect Strangers d. Chain Lariats at 33:38 when Yuji Nagata used a Spinning Brainbuster on Kenta Kobashi. Whew, this was a really long match that probably would ended faster if both members of Perfect Strangers didn't go for Pin or Submission attempts right next to Chain Lariat's corner. Regardless, Nagata would get the win for his team, when Brody was fighting on the outside with Marufuji.
5. Thunder In Paradise d. Kings Of The Suplex at 22:06 when Jun Akiyama used a Lightube Shot on Samoa Joe. For four technical wrestlers, this sure was a out-of-control fight. However, Jun Akiyama did a repeat performence with Samoa Joe in their match, where Akiyama nailed Joe with several Lightubes, Exploders, and Running Knees to put him down again.
6. Sex And Violence d. Go 2 Hell at 20:34 when Danshoku Dino CRITICALED The Great Muta with the Danshoku Driver........ What the Hell? Dino...... K.O.'d a guy? I tell you, this Tournament has more twist and turns by the freaking day, man. But, I have to say that Dino is very unpredicitiable in these kind of situations.
7. Wolf's Den d. Team AJPW at 18:54 when Genichiro Tenryu CRITICALED Toshiaki Kawada. Another loss here by Team AJPW means that they will be sharing the #1 Seeding with another team. Also, Rikidozan has a weak forehead, like Abdullah The Butcher/Dusty Rhodes weak as he is almost always busted open early in a match.
8. Tiny Titans d. Nigel And The Kendo Sticks at 16:33 when Petey Williams used the Canadian Destroyer on Nigel McGuiness. Well, it seems Nigel and Kendo weren't able to follow up on their stunninly quick victory over Wolf's Den in the last Round, as they were beaten by Tiny Titans with reletive ease here. Too bad for them.
Round Ten:
1. Perfect Strangers d. The Miracle Violence Connection at 26:12 when Naomichi Marufuji used a Frog Splash on Terry Gordy. Well, it seems that the role the MVC were on has been halted by one of the most unlikely to be succesful teams in the League. It also seems that Perfect Stranger shas defeated all of the Power Wrestlers here.
2. Team WCW d. Baisaiku Arrow at 15:24 when Bam Bam Bigelow used a Muscle Bomb Press on Hayabusa. Well, it seems that Team WCW is starting to show a little bit of life now as the Tournament comes to a head, using their raw strength to throw around the much lighter members of Baisaiku Arrow with good results.
3. Unstoppable d. Jungle Fever at 18:32 when Vader used a Half Crab on Tiger Mask I. Well, it looks like Jungle Fever's winning streak was broken today, as Unstoppable's Vader did another move that I didn't know he used in real life to submit the original Tiger Mask in a suprisingly even affair that didn't even go out on the outside.
4. Chain Lariats s. Big And Tall at 16:39 when Bruiser Brody used a King Kong Knee Drop on Kevin Nash. Kevin Nash did not use his now signature Sledeghammer today, and it showed today, as his team did not win because Brody used a piece of a Table on him. Oh, and Kobashi and Taue did some stuff as well.
5. Thunder In Paradise d. Tiny Titans at 18:58 when Jushin Liger CRITICALED Petey Williams with a Del Ver Brainbuster. The CRITICAL Machine that is Liger's Del Ver Brainbuster claimed another victim and win in the form of Petey Williams in this Round, as he and his partner of Jun Akiyama trudge on to the next Round.
6. Sex And Violence d. Wolf's Den at 17:48 when Danshoku Dino CRITICALED Rikidozan with the Danshoku Driver................... AGAIN?!? Ju.. wha..eh...the.....HUH? I..... I guess I should never misunderestimate ol' Danshoku Dino again, becuase he keeps pulling these suprises literally out of his ass by K.O'ing these guys that, in theory should murdelize him.
7. Team AJPW d. Go 2 Hell at 22:18 when Toshiaki Kawada used a Soulful Powerbomb on CM Punk. Is.... Is it me or does Keiji Mutoh and The Great Muta look kind of similar? No? Just me? Hmm, okay then. Oh, and Team AJPW is back to having the #1 Seed in the Tourny again by winning this match.
8. Kings Of The Suplex d. Nigel And the Kendo Sticks at 19:44 when Samoa Joe used a Standing Body Press on Kendo Ka Shin. Depite getting Alexander Otsuka'a arm all gimpy, neither man of Nigel And The Kendo sticks showed any real teamwork here. Probably why they keep losing as neither man seems intrested or motivated enough to break up Pin or Submission attempts on themselves.
Round Eleven:
1. The Miracle Violence Combination d. Team WCW at 19:56 when Steve Williams CRITICALED Sting with a Murder Back Drop. This is the type of match that the MVC should have been doing at the start: Completly destroying the opposition, giving them no time to recover or mount an offense, and knock them out. Thing is, it took them too long to figure it out to make a true difference in the Tourny. Oh well.
2. Perfect Strangers d. Baisaiku Arrow at 20:10 when Yuji Nagata used a Exploder on KENTA. This was a good -even sided fast-paced match, that funnily enough had a High Flier and Kicker on both sides. Despite this, Nagata would hit three consecutive Exploders on KENTA to get another win for his dysfunctional team.
3. Big And Tall d. Jungle Fever at 21:01 when Akira Taue used the I Am Taue on Tiger Mask I. Nash brought out the Sledgehammer for this, and it turned the tide for his team, who were previously beeing beaten pretty bad by Jungle Fever, leveling both Tier Mask and Kamala numerous times, leaving Tiger Mask to the whim of Taue, while he smashed Kamala like a giant Pinball out on the outside.
4. Unstoppable d. Chain Lariats at 25:11 when Vader CRITICALED Kenta Kobashi with A Wild Bomb Whip. The two teams of DomiNation met together in this Round, and much like the meetings of the BDFP teams, there was no love lost here, as both teams took each other to the limit, and it was Vader, the enforcer of the team himself, who beat the co-leader of DomiNation.
5. Wolf's Den d. Thunder In Paradise at 28:21 when Genichiro Tenryu used a Powerbomb on Jushin Liger. After a humilitating loss to Sex And Violence in the last Round, Wolf's Den bounced back well against their loss by beating Thunder In Paradise in a intense match that could have been won by either side in the last few minuets of it.
6. Tiny Titans d. Sex And Violence at 14:57 when Giant Baba CRITICALED Danshoku Dino with a Running Neckbreaker. Well, it looks like Danshoku Dino's trend of K.O.'ing people with the Danshoku Driver of Two people ended today as Giant Baba K.O.'d Dino himself, which is sort of ironic in a way.
7. Team AJPW d. Kings Of The Suplex at 26:05 when Keiji Mutoh used a Figure Four Leg Lock on Samoa Joe. Well, it looks like Team AJPW gets the #1 Seed to themselves again, as they beat KOTS in a absouletly fantastic match that saw some brutal Release German Suplexes to the outside, and Mutoh and Kawada using several impromptu Double-Temas and combo with each other.
8. Go 2 Hell d. Nigel And The Kendo Sticks at 22:18 when The Great Muta used a Rounding Body Press on Nigel McGuiness. Once again, Ka Shin and McGuiness showed absouletly no team work together, not trying to save wach other, making very frequent tags, and no Double-teams, which isn't exactly making it a suprise that they lost here again.
Round Twelve:
1. The Miracle Violence Connection d. Go 2 Hell at 21:05 when Steve Williams used a Avalanche Hold on The Great Muta. Put another notch on the "W" column for The MVC, as they beat another team in dominating fashion here. Hell, Muta didn't even get to use a Chair or Fork, or the Poision Mist or the rest of his tricks here this Round.
2. Kings Of the Suplex d. Baisaiku Arrow at 15:03 when Alexander Otsuka used a Shoulder Hold on Hayabusa. The Kings looked good here, thorwing around Hayabusa and KENTa around like Sacks of Potatoes with reletive ease. Also, for some reason, Hayabusa brought out a Flourescent Lightube on busted them over Samoa Joe a few times, which I think is some sort of joke that I'm missing here.
3. Jungle Fever d. Tiny Titans at 17:33 when Kamala used a Muscle Bomb Press on Petey Williams. To be frank, I'm suprised that Petey wasn't K.O.'d fro,m being Splashed by the massive 6'7 400-pounder. Also, Giant Baba is just so incredibly slow, that it's almost being the same speed of that of a Turtle.
4. Wolf's Den d. Chain Lariats at 18:46 when Rikidozan used a Grounded Sleeper Hold on Bruiser Brody. It seems that Chain Lariats are staring to slip into a slump as of late, as they suffered another loss, this time, in the form of Wolf's Den, whose member Rikidozan choked out a bloody Bruiser Brody while Kobashi was being Chopped to hell by Tenryu.
5. Unstoppable d. Thunder In Paradise at 18:52 when Bill Goldberg used the Jackhammer on Jushin Liger. Because Bill Goldberg K.O'd Jun Akiyama, then the illegal man at the time, at 12:43 with a Jackhammer on the outside, this became a two-on-one sitiuation that Jushin Liger as unable to handle the two by himself.
6. Big And Tall d. Sex And Violence at 12:08 when Akira Taue used the I Am Taue on Danshoku Dino. Well, no freak K.O.'s for Danshoku Dino today, as he was beaten in a quick fashion today by Akira Taue and Kevin Nash while Takeshi Morishima was unable to both tag himself in or make the save for Dino.
7. Perfect Strangers d. Team AJPW at 22:19 when Naomichi Marufuji used a Tiger Driver on Keiji Mutoh. I'd never thought it possible from the beggining, but with this win, Perfect Strangers are now tied with Team AJPW in the #1 Seed in the next few Rounds of the End of the Tournament. Can you actually imagine Nagata/Myself and Marufuji/Square as Tag Champs? The mind boggles.
8. Nigel And The Kendo Sticks d. Team WCW at 2:39 when Kendo Ka Shin CRITICALED Sting with a Scissored Sleeper. Well, we know where Danshoku Dino's freak K.O. went, as it jumped ship to Nigel And The Kendo Sticks to get them the quickest and most suprising win in the Tournament thus far.
Round Thirteen:
1. Kings Of The Suplex d. The Miracle Violence Connection at 34:38 when Samoa Joe used Mounted Punches on Steve Williams. Sheesh, talk about a Head Dropper match, as there was enough damage to all the wrestler's heads here to fill out the quota in the whole damn tournament. Oh, and why is Steve Williams so damn Red looking? Did he get a Sunburn or something?
2. Go 2 Hell d. Baisaiku Arrow at 18:13 when CM Punk used a Go 2 Sleep on KENTA. Well, the finish of this match was a little bit ironic, wouldn't you say? Oh, and there was a bttle of the Psuedo-Ninjas here in Muta VS Hayabusa, which I always support. I was suprisedthat there were no K.O.'s here, though.
3. Jungle Fever d. Wolf's Den at 20:30 when Tiger Mask I used a Super Diving headbutt on Genichiro Tenryu. Honestly, this was a bit of a suprise to me, as I would have put money on Wolf's Den beating Jungle Fever in this one, but thankfully I didn't, as Jungle Fever pulled out a victory out of nowhere when Tiger Mask popped out of a Tenryu beating seemingly unharmed, and won the match out of his sleeve.
4. Chain Lariats d. Tiny Titans at 14:31 when Kenta Kobashi used a Original Brainbuster on Petey Williams. Even though he can't cant hang out with the Heavyweight, you have to admit that Petey Williams has the Heart of either a Champion or Lion, or Champion Lion, as he goes all out on them, but sadly with very little positive results. And if you couldn't tell already, yes they lost.
5. Thunder In Paradise d. Big And Tall at 22:35 when Jushin Liger used a Step-In Shotei on Akira Taue. You know how I once accused Toshiaki Kawada on being on the Juice? Well, i think I may have found our residential Juicehead in Jushin Liger, as he is able to Powerbomb people nearly twice his weight, which is a little suspiscious in my book.
6. Unstoppable d. Sex And Violence at 22:31 when Vader CRITICALED Danshoku Dino with a Wild Bomb Whip. Well, Takeshi Morishima fought nearly the entire match-up, until near the end he had to tag out for he was beat-up, bloody, and winded to Dino, who was promptly CRITICALED neraly the second he stepped into the Ring. And no, I am not joking abput that.
7. Team WCW d. Team AJPW at 13:59 when Bam Bam Bigelow used a Muscle Bomb Press on Keiji Mutoh. At 9:50, Toshiaki kawada was K.O.'d by Bigelow's Fire Thunder Driver on the outside, leaving Mutoh alone with Bigelow who then promptly destroyed him. I'm intrested to see how Bigelow would do in Singles competition.
8. Perfect Strangers d. Nigel and The Kendo Sticks at 23:22 when Yuji Nagata used the Nagata Lock III on Kendo Ka Shin. Well, so much for Niel And the Kendo Sticks riding the momentum from their stunnigly quick victory over Team WCW, as once again, as both men refused to help the other, as McGuiness did not help out Ka Shin when he needed it, throwing him to the
wild Wolves of Nagata and Marufuji.
Round Fourteen:
1. The Miracle Violence Connection d. Tiny Titans at 15:10 when Terry Gordy CRITICALED Petey Williams with a Wild Bomb Whip. Petey tries and tries to hang with the Heavyweights, but he just isn't the Defintion Of Defintion quite yet, (This was in 2005 when this game came out), as he was K.O.'d once again by a very big guy.
2. Wolf's Den d. Baisaiku Arrow at 15:50 when Genichiro Tenryu used a Powerbomb on Hayabusa. You know, it's kind of sad that Junior Heavyweights like Hayabusa And KENTA can't get ahead because the competition is usually bigger then they are, thus they are often overpowered by their opponents.
3. Jungle Fever d. Go 2 Hell at 17:26 when Tiger Mask I used a Tiger Neck Chancery on The Great Muta. The Great Muta, one of League's best Brawlers met his match today in the form of Kamala who battled him on the outside for pretty much the entire match, before Kamala sent Muta back in the Ring to confront Tiger Mask I, who was polishing the floor with CM Punk while this free-for-all was occuring.
4. Kings Of The Suplex d. Chain Lariats at 22:50 when Samoa Joe used a Axe Bomber on Bruiser Brody. Perhaps I misunderestimimated KOTS, as they beat a top team here today in a very even match-up that saw it starngely enough in a Lawlful setting with no weapons, Ref bumps, or fighting on the outside occuring. Where do they think they were at, the FPWL?
5. Thunder In Paradise d. Perfect Strangers when Jushin Liger CRITICALED Naomichi Marufuji with a Del Ver Brainbuster. Once again, the Del Ver Brainbuster K.O. Machine claimed another victim in the form of Naomichi Marufuji, whose "Take both guys at the same time while forgetting about the Fresh partner on the apron to tag out when I get beat down" Strategy failed him and his partner once again.
6. Team WCW d. Sex And Violence at 21:47 when Sting used a Sharpshooter on Danshoku Dino. I would say something witty or clever her, but I think you have read these Results long enought to take a educated guess on the details of this match, and how it went down, so that will be all that shall be said sbout this match.
7. Unstoppable d. Team AJPW at 24:02 when Bill Goldberg used the Jackhammer on Keiji Mutoh. Well, after a big trip-up in the beggining of the Tournament, Unstoppable has finally gotten to the #1 Seed by winning this match, knocking down one of the the teams that held it in the last couple of Rounds of Mutoh and Kawada.
8. Nigel And The Kendo Sticks d. Big And Tall at 38:33 when Kendo Ka Shin CRITICALED Kevin Nash with a Fliyng Cross Arm Bar. The one time that McGuiness and Ka shin are back on the same page, they 1. win a match, and 2. Take forever and a day to win the damn match. Regardless, they aren't the lowest ranked Team in the Tournament now.
Round Fifteen:
1. The Miracle Violence Connection d. Wolf's Den at 22:20 when Steve Williams used a Doctor Bomb on Genichiro Tenryu. For some reason, this match had quite a few glitches in it, Terry Gordy getting stuck in place while trying to make a save, Gordy and Williams occupying the same Turnbuckle at the same time, and all four leaving and entering the Ring at the same time repeatedly. Despite this, this was a really good Power Wrestler match to me.
2. Tiny Titans d. Baisaiku Arrow at 18:58 when Petey Williams used the Canadian Destroyer on Hayabusa. This was truly a fast-paced, high-flying Junior Heavyweight match define, well except when Giant Baba wasn't in that is. But, his presence made sure that KENTA wouldn't break up William's cover of Hayabusa after nailing him with the Canadian Destroyer, so I think we can overlook that.
3. Jungle Fever d. Kings Of The Suplex at 16:29 when Tiger Mask I CRITICALED Alexander Otsuka with a Tiger Suplex. The irony of neither member of KOTS being able to K.O. anybody with a Suplex in the Tournament, and then some guy K.O.'s them with one in the last Round in the Tournament is deliciously ironic to me. Now, we need to see if Perfect Strangers or Unstoppable win to see if this win for Jungle Fever wins them the Tournament.
4. Chain Lariats d. Go 2 Hell at 14:01 when Bruiser Brody CRITICALED CM Punk with a King Kong Knee Drop. I'm not sure right now, but I think this makes the DomiNation/BDFP fued even in matches now. Anyways, who else but Bruiser Brody could take a simple move like a Running Knee Drop and turn into both a effective Finisher, and a pretty good CRITICAL Machine?
5. Team WCW d. Thunder In Paradise at 21:42 when Sting used the Sharpshooter on Jun Akiyama. To be honest, there isn't really all that much that needs to be said about this match. Not that it was bad or anything, it just was a bit unmonumental to me as with the caliber of Talent here should have equaled a better match.
6. Perfect Strangers d. Sex and Violence at 16:24 when Yuji Nagata CRITICALED Danshoku Dino. Well, it seems kind of sad for Dino to start a brief K.O. run, only to be K.O.'d himself in all of the matches afterwords, espicially in the last match he had in the Tournament. Also, if Unstoppable doesn't beat Team aJPw, then Perfext Strangers' victory here means nothing as Jungle Fever wins by default.
7. Big And Tall d. Team AJPW at 22:18 when Akira Taue used a Sumo Choke Slam on Keiji Mutoh. This was another All Japan 90's Alumni match besides Kevin Nash encounter. Speaking of Nash, his Sledgehammer made it's re-debut tonight, being used with great effiency on Keiji Mutoh, blooding him, and nearly knocking him out, and keeping Toshiaki kawada at bay while Nash's partner Akira Taue finished off the wounded Mutoh.
8. Unstoppable d. Nigel And The Kendo Sticks at 25:18 when Bill Goldberg used a Sleeper Hold on Nigel McGuiness. Well, with this match done, all #1 Seeds in the Tournament have won their matches, and will meet in a Batte Royal for the Tag Titles. Also, what will Nigel McGuiness' announcement on Monday be about? Tune in to fins out then.
And the Finals:
9. Six-Man Elimination Battle Royal: Jungle Fever d. Perfect Strangers and Unstoppable at 19:43 to win the Hell's Angels Tag Titles.
1: Naomichi Marufuji was eliminated at 8:04 by a Jackhammer from Bill Goldberg
2: Bill Goldberg was eliminated at 11:01 by a Muscle Bomb Press from Kamala.
3: Kamala was eliminated at 13:59 by a Chokeslam from Vader.
4. Vader was eliminated at 17:49 by a Spinning Brainbuster from Yuji Nagata.
5: Yuji Nagata was eliminated at 19:43 by a Tiger Suplex from Tiger Mask I.
An absolute carzy-ass match that saw a great finish. First elimination was Naomichi Marufuji was previously fighting his partner Yuji Nagata, before Bill Goldberg speared Nagata, and hit a Jackhammer to eliminate him. Then, both members of Jungle Fever double-teamed Bill Goldberg, and Kamala splashed and eliminated him. Both members of Jungle fever then put their attention on the remaining members of Perfect Strangers and Unstoppable, Yuji Nagata and Bill Goldberg. However, Vader slammed the gargantuian Kamala firmly to the mat and pinned him while Tiger Mask was preoccupied with Nagata. When this occured, nagata and Tiger Mask then promptly double-teamed Vader, and would soon get both members of Unstoppable eliminated. Then, it was just Nagata and Tiger Mask, which was a Kicker's delight of sorts. However, Tiger Mask would hand Nagata his first true defeeat to him by his signature Tiger Suplex to win the Titles for him and his partner Kamala.
And here are the Final Rankings:
1. Jungle Fever(60).
2. Perfect Strangers(55).
2. Unstoppable(55).

Results:
Round One:
