I call 100%, pure, uncut Colombian smark bait on this one Meltz. "Diamond Dave Meltzer doesn't do that s***. Everybody knows that I got sources everywhere. I have a tape recorder duct taped under Vince's desk in his office. I have a hidden camera behind the mirror in Steph's bedroom. I have a computer chip installed into Johnny Ace's brain which allows me to know what he's thinking before he even says it. When it comes to being the go-to-guy in ruining surprises for wrestling fans and keeping the perm alive, you're looking at the man responsible for all that."

At the very best, we'd see a bunch of no-name benchwarmers. If that. Joey Harrington vs. Mr. Kennedy

--Steve Austin vs. John Cena: It would be very similar to Rock/Hogan at WM18. Not the greatest wrestling match, but the crowd reaction would make up for it.
--Edge vs. Jeff Hardy, WWE Title Match: What I was thinking and hoping would happen.
--Batista vs. Randy Orton, World Heavyweight Title Match: That wouldn't be too bad. I'd rather have a 'Tista/Orton/HHH Triple Threat, and fill in HHH's spot in the match with 'Taker with...
--Triple H vs. Undertaker: Shawn Michaels. HBK/Taker would be an AWESOME match, not that HHH/Taker wouldn't be, but HBK/Taker would work much better, I feel.
--Team WWE versus Team NFL: I'm not gonna crap on this until I hear more about it.

Looks okay, but I don't know if I believe it.
Edge vs. Jeff Hardy would be awesome.
If Cena beat Austin, I would vomit.
I'd rather see Punk vs. Orton, but Batista vs. Orton is better than Batista vs. Cena.
Who cares about Triple H vs. Undertaker?

I like the idea of Austin vs. Cena and Batista vs. Orton, but Triple H vs. Undertaker has already been done once before at WrestleMania and I'd like to see HBK in Hunter's spot. Triple H should join the proposed World Heavyweight title match and put Ric Flair as the special-guest referee. See where I'm going with this?
You could do worse than Edge vs. Hardy, but you could also probably do better. And please don't include the NFL in WrestleMania ever again.

If there is some form of NFL match, the NFL players won't be active participants. Remember Pacman Jones / TNA? A lot has changed, and I doubt any NFL team is going to risk one of their players getting injured. At the very best, we'd see a bunch of no-name benchwarmers. If that. Or the recently retired.

Team WWE v TEam NFL will be awesome. I mean it will suck, but a cool change of pace. I cant imagine a team full of Houston Texans so I'd guess the NFLers would go over as heels. Unless Matt Shaub v Jericho does it for you.

It is unfortunate that Cena would go over Austin.
+1 to Batista/Orton, if Orton goes over. If not than -100000 -1 to HHH/Undertaker. What is this, 1997? +1 to Team NFL. Done right it gets more buys than Floyd. -1 to Edge/Hardy. A drug-addicted spot monkey whose entire work comprises of flailing around like a rag doll--both offensively and selling--being in a WM Main Event, LET ALONE potentiall getting a WM moment? No.

You say that as though Austin would actually show up to lose a match in this day and age, especially to a younger guy.

Austin vs. Cena!. That would get a ton of buys Talk about splitting the crowd, Old school attitude era fans Vs Mostly Children/preeteens/young teens, id gladly pay to see it. With it being in Austin's home state I think that advantage might play more to Austin than normal
