It is unfortunate that Cena would go over Austin. +1 to Batista/Orton, if Orton goes over. If not than -100000 -1 to HHH/Undertaker. What is this, 1997? +1 to Team NFL. Done right it gets more buys than Floyd. -1 to Edge/Hardy. A drug-addicted spot monkey whose entire work comprises of flailing around like a rag doll--both offensively and selling--being in a WM Main Event, LET ALONE potentiall getting a WM moment? No. This Message brought to you by 2005

If Austin/Cena happened.
I'm backing Cena all the way.

Imagine the complete uproar if Steve Austin tapped to the STFU

Imagine the complete uproar if Steve Austin tapped to the STFU I really doubt he'd tap. I say he would "passout" ala WM13 minus the blood.

I haven't seen these anywhere on the WO, so I'm going with smark bait on this one.

I've heard the Austin/Cena match idea thrown around. Cena would have to play the heel in that match as there is no way Texas will boo Austin. It's the biggest name match you can have with Austin
Also, I hope they don't go with HHH/Taker because we've seen it before at Mania, especially with the possible and very lucrative HBK/Taker match. I think that's a no-brainer right there. They've only faced off one-on-one three times EVER and all of those were in 1997/early 1998.

That might actually get him cheers. At this point the optimal way to get him heat is to have him play this dorky one-dimensional character against Austin's one-dimensional anti-hero.

Have Austin vs Cena end in a run in or something. Maybe Jericho or a returning Christan interfere. Have both Austin and Cena fight off the attackers. Huge hugs all around. Then BAM, Stunner, Austin drinks beer, everyone goes home happy.
Give me HBK vs The Undertaker. Have Taker go over, let HBK get the win in April
Hardy vs. Edge. That would be THE Main Event IMO, only if you let Hardy win the RR
TEAM E vs. THE NFL. It would have to be recently retired guys, no way Goodell is letting the NFL get anywhere near the E.

Joey Harrington vs. Mr. Kennedy I'd order Wrestlemania if I'm guaranteed a Mike Knox vs. Ryan Leaf match. I'd like to see a WWE Divas/NFL Divas tag match with Mickey and Beth vs T.O. and Chad Ocho. I'd especially mark if the 'E gave the NFL Divas Conway's "Look At Me" theme song. I'd also like to see "The King Of Kings" Triple H against "The King Of Football" Brett Favre. The match would probably end on a Favre d.q. when Chris Mortensen and Chris Berman jump in the ring to make the save.

I am gonna hold off on judging the Team NFL idea, since Show vs. Mayweather was entertaining as well as Lawrence Taylor vs. Bam Bam. If they grab some good athletes and give them a few months to train for a multi-man tag match, it could be decent. Not trying to pee in your corn flakes but LT Vs Bam Bam was anything but entertaining. I saw it live at the Civic Center in Hartford CT. Salt N Peppa sang what a man for LT's intro and the crowd was absolutely dead for two reasons. LT was a big enough name that EVERYONE and I do mean EVERYONE knew he had retired from the NFL due to his bad knees. The other side of it was that all the NFL players who came as his back up gang were physically bigger then the wrestlers Bam Bam brought. This killed the credibility of the wrestlers and then LT did some basic moves and a body slam to pin the Beast of the East. I didnt see show vs mayweather but LT vs Bam Bam was NOT entertaining.

The NFL idea sucks...
Unless a Redskin is involved. Then I fully approve

I don't see alot of this happening - but I would get on board with all of it except HHH v Taker. HBK v Taker has to happen, as it being in Texas would make that even more special. I do not see them planning WM without HBK being in one of top five matches they plan - HBKs job is always to steal the show.
Austin v Cena is something I would love to see but I just do not see it.
The NFL idea does not work for me as being from Scotland we know absolutely nothing about American Football.
