Meh. Doesn't do a whole ton for me. I'd like to see Orton vs Batista and Hardy vs. Edge, but it looks like both of those matches will be happening in the near future.

Team WWE v TEam NFL will be awesome. I mean it will suck, but a cool change of pace. I cant imagine a team full of Houston Texans so I'd guess the NFLers would go over as heels. Unless Matt Shaub v Jericho does it for you. You know that Houston would pay good money to see Sage Rosenfels get the crap kicked out of him. That would be a match that the WWE would have to win. Team WWE wins the match when Sage throws them a weapon, after one of his teammates calls for it. It wouldn't be a heel turn, it would be Vintage Sage.

Cena causes Austin to submit to the STFU. man... i'd love to see the reactions The internet would explode. We talk a lot about wrestlers, err, entertainers deserving things... and the character of John Cena does not deserve to go over, let alone make tap, SCSA. If Cena doesn't "deserve" it then no one does.

Not bad, though I'm more interested to see where a few of the "recent pick ups" (Gail Kim, Christian, and Dos Caras, respectively) fit in to this. The latter two will probably be in the Money in the Bank match, I'm guessing. About the "Team NFL" thing... if this happens, Laurence Taylor will be involved. I almost guarantee it. He might not wrestle, but he'll be there, probably as a manager.

I can't believe someone is actually saying this, but I'll say it:
At this point in time, unless Mickie's in a prominent match and/or Chris Jericho's the World Champion again, I will not purchase WrestleMania.

Austin/Cena - Would be the match of the night. Might not be the best in-ring display largely due to Austin having been out of action for so long, but the atmosphere would be amazing. Edge/Hardy - Would probably be a great match, and although it might not look as much like a big time match on paper as some other possibilities, it might be just what WWE needs to do to finally establish these guys as main event. Don't feel like you need to put Edge against the Undertaker or Hardy against Triple H; let them show that they can carry a main event feud and match without the help of WWE's go-to main event guys. I think it would be a great idea for them to do this match. Batista/Orton - A lot of history there, could be something built into feeling like a huge match, as long as they don't spoil it by having them main event the Rumble or No Way Out together or something. If they're gonna do this, they need to keep these guys apart in the meantime. Triple H/Undertaker - Blah. Don't get me wrong, both these guys are great, but who cares? The main selling point to this would be that Triple H doesn't job much and Taker is undefeated at 'Mania, but I couldn't care less who wins this. If Orton had been the one to end the streak at 'Mania 21 it would've meant something, but if Trips wins this it's just another thing on his list of paper accomplishments that's already so long it far surpasses his in-ring accomplishments to the point that it almost makes him seem like less than he is, rather than more. Like he's trying to make up for something, you know? WWE vs. NFL - Fun for casual fans, bathroom break for longtime diehards.

--Steve Austin vs. John Cena - I just do not see it. I imagine that Austin is quite content to make movies instead. Less risky for his injured neck.
--Edge vs. Jeff Hardy, WWE Title Match - I imagine that this match will be the feature of the Royal Rumble instead. I would rather see Edge get into another featured angle against Matt instead.
--Batista vs. Randy Orton, World Heavyweight Title Match - This match will likely happen at Armageddon. I don't see them being that patient.
--Triple H vs. Undertaker - It could happen, but unless the WWE title is on the line I don't think they should face each other. Otherwise the finish is too easy to predict. The only Undertaker WM matchups that will not be easy to predict will be against a title holder or a young, up-and-coming future main eventer. --Team WWE versus Team NFL - Yeah.......no.

He has said that he would love one more match and feels that he has it in him. That is the biggest possible match out there for him too. I'd love to see it as long as they let them go all out on the mic and not write crap for them.

I would MARK so hard for Austin VS Cena. That would be like Attitude Era VS Entertainment Era. It would be interesting to see who gets the bigger pop.
I doubt it will happen but Austin has talked about doing at least one moer match.

What I would love for WWE to do is start building to these matches early. The build was greatly lacking last year for the main events.

If that ends up being the card i'd buy it in a heartbeat, but then again it's Wrestlemania, I'd buy it regardless.
Now add Morrison v HBK and a Hulk Hogan match and WWE can name their price.

Every time Batista and Orton have wrestled, they always bring up how they were both in Evolution, and, like last night, they add "this has to be the first time I can remember them squaring off!" By the time they actually get to Wrestlemania (if plans stay the course, that is), they'll probably have worked each other at least a dozen times before then and they'll still say it.

I will order any pay per view where Steve Austin comes back to wrestle a real match. As long as he's medically cleared and in shape, I think he can still have an exciting match, and Cena deserves the favor. I think that this may be the way to finally put Cena over with the older fans who were going crazy for Austin a decade ago.
I don't have a lot of confidence that Austin is going to wrestle again, but the rest of the card looks all right, as long as Jeff Hardy doesn't screw up and he finally gets that big title win.
