When you own the company, you can do that.
As far I'm concerned, there isn't a good reason for the Mcamahons to be on TV in 2009.

We may not want it and there may not be a reason for it but I have a feeling we will see them until 2010.

What the Mcmahons don't seem to realise is that the fans prefer to boo them.
Maybe Shane has been an exception in the past but Vince and especially Stephanie are natural default heels.
It used to make me laugh in 2005 to 2007 when Vince Mcmahon would be portrayed as some fearless superman who was not afraid to get in the face of any wrestler be it Shawn Michaels or John Cena and yet when Austin would make the odd appearance Vince would regress into Chicken Shit heel.
It is like The McMahons only act inferior to absolute megastars like The Rock or Austin.
I mean can you imagine ten years ago Shane taking on Stone Cold and it being an even fight? No because it makes no sense, but with Orton they have done it 3 times now and each time Shane has more than held his own.
I hope the McMahons are off TV for a looong time now.

Shane is fighting, with his fists, not using wrestling moves to beat them. I think it's clever, everyone knows that Shane would be destroyed in a wrestling match hence the reason his matches break down to a brawl, if someone punches you no matter what you go to hit them back, not use a wrestling move on them. *Facepalm

I'm not a fan of Shane's latest run. The man is almost 40. It defies logic that he, a guy that's not an active wrestler, can look so strong against 3 wrestlers at least 10 years younger than him.

Ignoring his offense, etc...I could buy into the whole 'heart and determination, avenging the family, win at all costs underdog' role...if they at least booked him to lose clean once in a while...especially in a 3 on 1 situation. The way they book him, you'd think he were Michelle McCool or something.

Whether some of you like Shane or not, the audiences feel the same way i do, and they just aren't buying it. This should matter to WWE because their ratings are plummeting. So big deal, let Orton go face if he gets cheered. It would only hasten a Cena heel turn which would rule.
But since Cena is their movie star that can't outdraw Dax Sheppard, he needs to be face since being a face is the only way you can be in a movie.

Its funny Randy's tried so hard to get fans to stop cheering him but it aint worked cuz they still cheer him no matter what. He should be happy he's a popular heel instead of crying over it.

The fans will cheer Randy because no one likes the McMahons. Feud with someone who is actually loved by the fans, and he can be an actual heel.
Edge has Jeff Harvey HHH had HBK, Rock, and Austin Jericho used the HBK feud to cement his status.
See what I mean? Feuding with an "over" HHH at this point kind of offsets everything because of the McMahon factor. I mean Orton could have smashed Shane's face open, dryhumped Stephanie, and made Vince eat dog poo.....he would probably get face pops just because it was done to a McMahon.
