Everytime he looks to have Orton's number it's his risk taking that costs him the matches, hell even in the handicap match it was his risk taking that cost him.
I know Shane's always been booked strong against guys like Test, Angle, X-pac, D-X, hell even D'lo Brown jobbed to him.
I've always been a big Shane-O-Mac fan, but taking on 3 guys all at once, and only getting caught because of taking a risk. LOL.

Shane looking strong in the past was always billed as, "you can't keep him down, all heart-no brains" kinda deal. He would take an insane amount of abuse, do some bats*** insane high spot or bump, and then lose. OK, fine, he beat Big Show in LMS, but that was after one of the crazier dives I've seen anybody make period. This time...meh. I get it, he's gone all Popeye after eating spinach, but damn, this thing is like Trips/Jericho in that the guy with the belt comes out looking like King Pussbag at the end, while the challenger (in this case it's worse since he's not a member of the active roster) winds up looking like both a daredevil and a badass. Yeah, he still does the job in the end and takes an insane amount of punishment as before, but his offense has increased dramatically despite being mroe outnumbered than ever before. Hell, even if we make an exception that one of the three is Cody, that still leaves it at 2 1/3 on 1 advantage.

Does anyone else see Shane McMahon being WWE Champion by the end of the year?
I don't want it to happen, I've just got an inevitable feeling that it will.

I've always had this problem with Shane, personally.
I get that he's supposed to be a tough street kid, but he shouldn't be whopping on wrestlers no matter how pissed off he is.
Kane's career still hasn't recovered since their feud if you ask me.

He kicked ALL of Legacy's ass, and cost himself the match.
Something about this is just wrong.

Not going anywhere without his lackeys to help him? Isn't the chickenshit heel supposed to look like "King Pussbag"?

And beating up guys with punches that miss by a clear foot. I like to think that Shane has a power not unlike this amazing underwater animal: In fact, I think Shane's wrestling nickname should be "The Pistol Shrimp" Shane McMahon!

I hope if Shane ever comes back he decides to...oooh...I dunno...actually try to look the part of a bad ass if he's going to try and portray one?

Nope, because he's got numbers. At least that's my thought on the "coward" heel anyway.

I mean for god's sake, Orton holds his own against Batista and HHH when they go one on one, yet SHANE gets his hands on him one on one? he beats his ass around for 95% of the match. So Orton gets two other guys to make it three on one, and Shane whips EVERYONE'S ass.
Shane isn't freaking Andre the Giant, it's really stupid that they do this.

I remember their match at no way out this year was mostly Shane destroying Orton, until Legacy came out, same with that match where Shane got punted. Seriously. The guy's being booked like Sting circa 1997

What's really most shameful about it is that you have the boss's son not looking in great shape, wearing tennis shoes and in the same old frat boy gimmick gear from 10 years ago, and making HIS BOSS'S CHAMPION (and top heel stable) look terrible. It's like he has no idea how to work as a babyface as if he just marks out for himself when he's in the ring. I mean that's beyond just being a bad wrestler, that's being bad businessman.
Not to mention as I've mentioned before it just sets an awful example to all the boys in the back and any aspiring wrestler trying to get into WWE. This at the same time as a 56 year old Ricky Steamboat who hadn't wrestled a full match in 15 years works harder at getting into great shape for his matches than a 39 year old Shane McMahon. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
I know he doesn't book his matches and I'm sure he tries to justify it by taking the big bumps, but often the nature in which you win or lose your matches is just as important as the end result. Would it really have harmed him to have lost clean? Really?

This is most of the reason I'm really not enjoying RAW right now.
I was so glad when that match fell all to hell quickly at the beginning of the program...and then Vickie treats us to a second showing, plus qualifiying matches for the other members. And then to make matters worse, SuperShane lays a beatdown on 3 men before putting himself out. I'm sorry, I know Shane's put on some good performances in the past...but lately, it's crap. His offense looks sorry and even his 'holy excretory matter' spots look to be lacking. Orton could've just laid on that table and Shane would've missed him by a good two or three feet. I hope he actually sells the ankle injury and stays off TV for a good few years (or at least months).
With my luck, he'll show up Monday in John Cena gear and defeat the entire roster in a gauntlet match where each round is like 5 on 1 and he has one hand tied behind his back, a ball and chain on his injured ankle, and the other hand handcuffed to the ropes. My only worry would be the inevitable implosion of the universe when Cena faced Shane...but luckily (and this is where WWE's creative really shines) Cena isn't cleared to compete.

This is how I feel about it...I was sort of watching RAW regularly again, but the stuff with Shane has really turned me off. Well that, and a lot of other stuff too.
