This pretty much strenthens my belief that promotions like XPW and CZW serve absolutely no purpose being considered "Pro Wrestling." Its nothing but a bunch of gimmicky weapons match. Seriously, a weedeater? A ring full of light tubes? That pretty much states that you have no athletic talent and can't get over any other way than to put your body through macabre brutality. That's not my idea of sports entertainment. I am a CZW fan. In principle, I hate how the company conducts deathmatches and ESPECIALLY how it conducts deathmatches on such a regular basis (as someone else pointed out, deathmatches lose their shock and meaning if they're done often). However, I can't deny that I've enjoyed watching many a CZW deathmatch (esp. SeXXXY Eddy vs Arsenal @ TOD3, "Sick" Nick Mondo vs JC Bailey @ TOD2, & Drake Younger vs JC Bailey @ TOD:FF), and that enjoyment has compelled me to check out every one of the company's Tournaments of Death. Even though I may enjoy some deathmatches and am almost always satisfied with TOD shows (this year's - TOD7 - was the only one to ever disappoint), I still wish that wrestlers would not participate in such matches. Anyway, the main reason for this response is to point out that CZW is a lot more than just deathmatches. Aside from the annual Tournament of Death event, there is seldom more than one deathmatch per show, and some shows lack deathmatches altogether. I want to stress this because I honestly feel that CZW offers the best variety of any promotion currently in existence. They're very much like ECW used to be in that sense. The other styles exhibited in matches are actually what tend to make or break my decision to check out a show. Principled opposition to deathmatches is what actually kept me away from CZW for many years. But after WWE became a monopoly and royally blew the InVasion angle, I felt that I had no choice but to invest in the indies if I was going to remain a fan of contemporary wrestling. I'm glad that I did.

Oh, that was terrible to watch. I hope he's okay, but like you said, he shouldn't be surprised with the outcome.

why the hell would you do a shooting star press that close to a set of snorking steps? at least pick a move where you'll be able to see that you're going to hit them and minimise the damage if you snork up, with an SSP you're more or less blind until you hit the ground. i'm not gonna wish harm on anyone, but using such a low visibility move in that location is bloody moronic. My thoughts exactly, I would never wish harm on a worker genuinely, but Jody Fleisch has been semi-botching stuff like this since he first came back.

Newcomer here, but I've not seen the Buff Bagwell WCW Thunder incident where a messed-up bulldog left him (thankfully temporarily) paralyzed or the Villano IV (could have been V) incident where a messed-up piledriver/power bomb KO'ed him.

When Villano's back was in the air/flat to the mat, Raven grabbed his neck for a neckbreaker. Either Raven dropped early or Kanyon slammed late, but Villano basically got piledriven.

I wish to amend my last comment> I fogot to add the words "I did see" the Bagwell and Villano incidents, but wish I hadn't especially the former. Tony was trying to continue with the storyline, while Bobby was more concerned with what had happened to Buff.

The sight of Lesnar finally pulling out the Shooting Star you always heard he could do, only to witness him land directly on the top of his skull.

The part of the Royal Rumble match in 2003 when it looks like Edge and Rey Mysterio are going for double dropkicks off the top turnbuckle on Nowinski, unfortunately Rey arrives first and Nowinksi is on the ground when Edge lands on Nowinski's face.
Its not as bad as most already mentioned but always made me cringe.

I saw footage from a Necro Butcher match where he goes through a 'log cabin' of light tubes and his arm gets REALLY messed up... That's something I wish I hadn't seen.
Seeing Mitchel scalp Raven was pretty hard to see, too...
