Awesome movie.
Saw it last night, and it moved at such a brisk pace, I was sad when it was over.
Hilarious movie, with some cool Zombie-kills and awesome dialogue.
I need to see it again.
What did you guys think of it? Plans on seeing the film?

I don't want to spoil the movie, so I shall say, about half way through the movie, it gets INSANELY awesome. The awesome just pours off the screen.

I just posted a review of it in "Jason Lives: The WC Horror Thread Part 6," but my short version is this: I loved this movie. My favorite zombie movie of all time, BY FAR. No heavy-handed semantics involving some deep social message in this one, folks - just pure entertainment and comedy from start to finish.

Even better than the Romero flicks or Shaun of The Dead?

Even better than the Romero flicks or Shaun of The Dead? Yup. Not an opinion I share with many, but while I enjoy the original 1968 Night of the Living Dead I hated the rest of the series, which are collectively about as subtle as a brick to the face when it comes to social commentary.

I knew Zombieland wasn't going to be based around your everyday zombie movie just by watching the trailers. I haven't even seen it yet (please no spoilers), and I could tell it's just hilariously awesome zombie-killing fun. I SO want to see this movie.

Is this made by the guy who made Adventureland? It's got the same kid, so that connection was a small turn off. Overall it looks bad ass, I'll definitely trust your opinions, can't wait to check it out.

Zombieland is the best following things:
- Zomedy(zombie comedy) - Zombie Film - Film I've Seen This Year
Yes....Zombieland is even better than Up in my views.
Why? Cause well, while Up IS a great film, Zombieland accomplishes the main goal of films that most movie goers see films for, escaping the problems of the real world for a few hours.
Hell, Zombieland is so awesome I saw it TWICE so far. Both times were advanced screenings.

I'm going to try and make it to the theaters for this one on Halloween. I'd go sooner, but it may take that long to come up with the cash for me and the gf to get in sadly. Stupid recession.

***Contains Spoilers***
I never thought Shaun of the Dead could be topped as my favorite horror comedy, but by God this was insane. The way the "rules" were described, Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" in the opening credits, Woody Harrelson just being awesome (the nod to Deliverance in the grocery store was a real highlight). Plus a lot of innovative ways to kill zombies.
But the one thing that pushed this movie from being awesome to phenomenal, was Bill Murray's cameo. We all wondered what the BM on the door stood for until it showed his many portraits in his house. Then he shows up dressed as a Zombie and the sheer thought that Bill Murray just showed up unexpectedly in this movie made me very happy. When Bill and Woody dressed up to be Ghostbusters I kid you not the whole theater ERUPTED with cheers and applause. and his death as well garnered a huge reaction as well.
Overall, the most fun I've had in a movie since Tropic Thunder last year. If anyone were to make a Left 4 Dead film, this would've fit the bill. SEE THIS FILM!
"It's time to nut up, or shut up".
