Well that was painful to watch..... now THIS is how you do a 'rallying the troops' promo (language warning). If I'm any one of those guys right there, I'm ready to jump off of a bridge if Heyman asked me to. Dixie's speech didn't inspire nearly that level of confidence in me as a fan, so I can only imagine what it did for the employees.

People will spin a negative out of just about anything.
Sometimes, rallying cries work.

Nothing will come of this. Neither good nor bad.
Some people will roll their eyes at Dixie. And deservedly so. She comes off rather arrogant for someone who's still technically small potatoes as far as the grand stage of wrestling is concerned.
Others will rally behind her. Also deservedly so. She's accomplished a hell of a lot for someone who took over a wrestling company that was making negative money for several years.
But this will be completely forgotten within a month. Maybe even a week.

People will spin a negative out of just about anything. Sometimes, rallying cries work. But this one probably won't. It was a really badly worded message, delivered in a decidedly awkward fashion, to a clearly disinterested audience. If you'll notice while watching the video, there's no nods of agreement or even comprehension, just blank stares and a few guys even nodding off. That doesn't look good for anyone involved.

I like TNA, but they aren't ready to swing for the fences yet.
Heyman had it right. He had pasion and was believable. Dixie... not so much.
I'm sorry, but a woman can't run a wrestling company.

Heyman's speech...THAT'S something you put on television. He sounds like a leader. He's inspiring. And every shot you see of the wrestlers, they're nodding. They're behind him. THAT'S what you show people. Granted, this was for a documentary, but I guarantee that if he'd given that speech, and none of guys care, he'd never even consider putting it on television. One of TNA's key problems is distinguishing what makes good television, what makes them look good......and what doesn't. I'm sorry, but an inexperienced person can't run a wrestling company. Fixed, to sound less like a douche.

Why would they air this on National Television?
Seems like something that should be done behind closed doors.
I did like it where she said that she valued their opinions and they might not agree with her direction, and that they all need to be in the same direction 100% in order to get better... but I didn't like her telling them to find another place of employment if they didn't back her 100%.
Was odd.

So the comments that were more or less "ride or die" from Dixie were legit, huh? I'm sorry, but the whole "with me absolutely or get out" thing will definitely alienate people. Apparently she's a Sith. ;D Yeah, I thought the speak was odd, and it could alienate people too. It's like "Don't complain, or kiss your job goodbye". I understand that it's her company, but still, it just seems weird.

It's interesting to see people like Madison Rayne without 50 pounds of makeup. She looks hot without it.
But yeah, this will be forgotten in about 2 weeks.

Was odd. What he said. There were parts of the speech that I agreed with and parts that I disagreed with. But regardless, that shouldn't have seen air. In doing so, TNA put the focus on two things: 1) That there are people out there (and working in the company) that don't like this decision and 2) That they really don't care, they're doing it anyways. Stuff like this really shouldn't be seen by the public as it automatically forces an opinion, and usually it's the opinion they're trying to rally against. But I'd be remiss to neglect mentioning that Dixie looked damn fine doing it...

Darth Dixie gives me douche chills. and putting that on tv is pointless, in my opinion.
Whereas the wrestlers would walk across hot coals for Paul E., I doubt Dixie could get any one of them to buy her a Snickers from the snack machine.

I like Snickers plus Dixie's fairly attractive. On a relevant note I agree with the 'why did this air?' crowd. Do the speech, it'll either work, backfire, or have no real effect, but why put it on for an audience?

Fair enough, but it just seems odd to put it out there even given that.

Was linked to the Rhino and Daniels promo, which lead to the angles in those matches with advancement.

I don't think she was wrong for warning her employees of the import of rolling with changes, but I also don't think it needed to be on tv either. People are gonna be pissed if Hogan or Bischoff start making big calls that agents and bookers used to make. So she needed to plant a flag and state plainly that for the good of the company you need to come along nice and polite like
