DAMN, now I have to go see a grief counselor to help me prepare for the loss of HBK, but if this is his last match, I hope he brings back the tights for old time's sake Yes, Yes, a million times YES! I've been saying this for a while. If, IF, HBK loses, he needs to go out in the tights. Regardless, I hope he busts them out anyway. I hate his pants..lol. Wow, I just realized how petty I sound. I think its just me wanting something back from when I was a younger fan. Douchebag HBK in tights.

I don't see what the big deal about the streak is. Every WWE game I've played let me end it, and it doesn't feel important

We all win in this one. I think even the detractors of this rematch have to be intrigued by the Streak v. Career stipulation.

this may be the most emotionally draining match ever.
i cant watch HBK leave... yet i dont want the streak ended... this will be better than HBK/Flair because we truly don't know who will win... i'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it

As usual, WWE knocks one out of the park when it comes to making epic promo videos. However, I'm still not that excited for their WM encounter. So sue me. I really don't think WWE is trying to recreate the magic. I don't think it was Vince who booked this. I think Undertaker or Shawn or both specifically requested the rematch. I think this because Shawn's career is on the line and so is Taker's streak. One of them will end. A match like this is not made out of the blue. There must be a purpose behind it from either or both Taker and Shawn.

A few months ago I was against this match, mainly because I didn't think they could live up to last year's epicness with the way Taker appeared to be slowing down/being injured. That, and because at the time I'd have preferred a fresher match for Taker or HHH/HBK following a breakup of DX. But the way they've been building it up has been perfect and has gotten me to do a complete 180, and from what I hear of Taker's performance last night he seems to be getting back to his regular form.
It's not a rematch that was announced for rematch's sake, Shawn had to beg and go out of his length of sanity to get this to happen, and for the first major time the streak itself is getting chased by a competitor more than once. They'd have been awesome with the match alone, but the stipulations they've added tonight make it that much bigger. It's been said but now it has a 'this time, it's personal' feel. I honestly don't know who will win. I've always been of the opinion that the streak should never end, even in a 'younger talent being put over' scenario. I also thought it shouldn't end because the streak would end up being forgotten after it was broken, but that wouldn't be the case if Shawn won. If Shawn won it'd be arguably the most epic Wrestlemania moment since WM3, because the moment and stipulations would always be known, and it would make both men even more legendary than they already are.
If Shawn loses, I'd be surprised if he legitimately retired. I'd imagine he'd get months off to rest, maybe even a year. But if he didn't return, a match at Wrestlemania with a great rival would be a fitting end.
I'm all for this match now.

I haven't read everyone's post here...but let me just say this.
I knew if they were going to have the rematch, it was going to be awesome, and I was definitely going to order the pay per view like I do every year. But tonight, when Undertaker told HBK to put his career on the line, all or nothing...seriously, I got goosebumps. I couldn't believe it, I didn't think it would be taken to this level.
Shawn Michaels is my favorite wrestler of all time. To ME he is the best of all time...with Undertaker close in second. Seriously, I don't know who to pull for. It's going to be emotional for me either way.
Because of this match, I just now started making plans for a road trip to Arizona, I'll be getting any ticket I can, nosebleed section or not. I want to be there to witness and say I was a part of history.

Three words! 60.Minute.Draw! Michaels keeps his career...Taker can still say he's never LOST at Wrestlemania.

I give WWE props.
With this added stip..I'm excited and all for HBK/Taker II.
And as much of a bigger fan that I am of Shawns than Taker....Taker will win.

It's tough if you look at it at first. But the WWE has gotten around "Loser MUST Retire" stipulations so many times now it's not funny anymore. Taker will win, Shawn will be back at SummerSlam. I can't see how they can go close to matching last years match with Taker in the shape he's in. I'm sorry, I just don't care about this match

I could care less, since they're both at retirement age anyway. Hell, HBK was already retired for four years. All this time he's been back has been a bonus.
As for the streak itself, I put no stock in it. These sorts of accomplishments mean nothing when outcomes are predetermined. I'm impressed as hell at the level Callaway's performed at for so long but his win/loss record, any wrestlers, is meaningless.

I noticed during their face to face encounter tonight that it looked like the undertaker had a tear rolling down his cheek by the end of the promo. If anyone has dvr watch it again. At first he puts a finger to his eye...moments later it seriously looks like tears!

"How do they make themselves cry?" "What, mom? What? That's probably sweat. Or like. Body oil. Or something"

I thought the streak would never end, HOWEVER i was pretty sure HBK would want his last opponent to be HHH, so i really don't know.
All i know is that if HBK loses I will cry. I'll be rooting for him like mad.

HBK might lose, but he'll probably come out of retirement around Summerslam (possibly later, but atleast within a year). This is the wrestling business, retirement stips are rarely stuck to for long...
