Probably because its a product that is absolute doo-doo. TNA has managed to make the most popular and successful wrestler of all time seem Minor League. It managed to take the WWE's top face and make him seem like Steve Lombardi. Kurt Angle brought some excitement, but other than the feud with Joe the creative staff has made him look minor league. And no matter how many of you beat your meat to her, Mickie James isn't going to raise .000001 of a ratings point for that company. I can say this because no one they have brought in has raised ratings for them. The place is like the Emerald City when Dorothy went back in the sequel to Wizard of Oz. I would sig this if I wasn't so busy hawking my readthrough.

Why even have a TNA forum then? Because it exists. It can be discussed. Until they stop producing a crappy product, however, the discussion is going to be negative. The reality is that what they're producing is poorly booked, poorly produced, and poorly marketed. It's just a bushleague operation all the way around. They still think its 1999. They won't get rid of Russo. They have a roster with plenty of talent, but have no idea what to do with it. Until they make legitimate plans to fix the product long term, it's still going to be a mess. They've relied on quick-fixs that haven't panned out. They will either learn their lesson and succeed, or die as a company.

Lots of long-term fans have legit stopped watching after Hogan/Bischoff's reign of terror. And none of the expensive hires from the Hogan period actually accomplished what they were paid to do.

Most people WANT TNA to succeed and find it maddening that they keep shooting themselves in the foot over and over and over. Every now and again, they seem to take a few steps forward. Then the powers that be send the company wind sprinting backwards about 300 feet

This is odd. A Mickie James thread and the customary argument within the confines of the thread isn't about Mickie James at all.

You forget, any thread in the TNA forum quickly turns to bashing TNA, no matter how much it strays off topic.
I think Mickie could do quite well in TNA, and with a couple more women, bring the Knockouts tag titles back to prominence. Especially considering Alissa Flash and Kong would be willing to come back.

If TNA signed Steve Austin, Goldberg, the Rock, HBK and Brock Lesnar all in the same day people would still be unhappy with the company.

How can you say Angle brought nothing? That's just plain silly. I think in terms of viewers. I don't know any exact numbers, but I doubt Angle brought in a lot of new fans.

How can you say Angle brought nothing? That's just plain silly. Angle is great as usual but his tenure in TNA hasn't impacted ratings or buy rates as far as I can tell. At least not to the point that someone of his caliber should have.

Well this is the TNA forum after all. So you're saying if I start a thread posting those old Morphoplex commercials (the ones where Traci Brooks boasts she can't even keep her pants on) it'll turn into a generalized criticism of the overall product? Let's see what happens... DAMMIT! Youtube doesn't have that Morphoplex commercial. They only got the ones where Larry is hanging around the beach. Probably looking for a girls' volleyball game to watch. I can't believe nobody posted it. That damn commercial used to be on three times a commercial break back when they were still a sponsor.
