Sometimes WWE is good at making people not interested in cruiserweight wrestlers. First they have them become repetitive and then they book them improperly to the point where believability is now null and void.
Kane or some other wrestler somehow falls on the ropes for the 619 in the same exact place every time. Rey tricked him! Thats what WWE expects you to believe every time.

I don't like him because I think he's just a cartoon of his WCW days. It's not that I want to see him get fired, I just don't want to watch him on TV anymore. He truly has X-Pac heat with me.

He's grown stale for me. It has to do with his character more than anything. How has Rey changed since his WWE debut? He hasn't. He's been the same character the entire time. He wrestles a large guy and the announcers are always talking about how Rey may be small but he has a big heart and will never give up. He may be small folks but Rey will never give up.

I love it how Rey has been a part of the best feud last year and this year but no one seems to care.

Because frankly, I don't see why me being a fan of his before should have to qualify every statement I make about him now. His act is done with me. He's this tiny dude beating every last f***ing person they put in front of him. He beat Swagger on SD and I just rolled my eyes and skipped ahead. He's like John Cena, only TINY. I can't buy him beating some of these people..... This, people are always pissed off about Cena's superman push but I feel Rey's has been even worse the past two years. At least I can visually buy Cena maybe beating (most of) these guys, not so with Rey Rey.

He is the epitome of what is currently wrong with the current WWE product, and the hypocrisy that goes along with it.

I love it how Rey has been a part of the best feud last year and this year but no one seems to care. You mean the awesome feud last year he had with Jericho, where Jericho pretty much carried both Rey in the ring and the feud promo-wise? Yeah, Jericho has a tendency to make virtually anyone in the ring look, even with guys like Cena and Batista. The feud with Punk this year started off great, and I thought for once in a Rey Mysterio feud they were finally going to make the OTHER guy (Punk) look good before Rey wins the feud in the blow-off match. But, without much surprise, I was wrong. The matches were decent, but nothing to write home about. Rey has bored the living s*** out of me ever since he returned from his injury covered in silver with his match against Chavo. The only time I was really into a Mysterio feud after that point was the one with Jericho, and like I stated earlier, Jericho was the one that made that feud, not Rey. You want to talk about Cena having a stale gimmick? Rey's had the same exact gimmick, with no alterations, since debuting in 2002.

I love it how Rey has been a part of the best feud last year and this year but no one seems to care. Cena has had some very good feud's over the years, and he still gets hate because of his gimmick and how many matches he's won. Mysterio shouldn't be given a free pass.

The thing I hate most with Mysterio is how his larger opponents will have to literally pick him up for a lot of his so called flashy moves. I know it's silly but I just can't suspend my disbelief in Rey's matches anymore. Also the fact that most of his offense looks like it would bearly hurt a fly. Rey please take your 6-1-9 and go away allready

Just because people dislike him doesn't mean they discredit him for all he's done in the past. "Oh, he got a push because his pal died but we don't have the right to dislike him because he was so great 15 years ago." That's just retarded.
How many threads have we had like this for Rey and Drew and others? Get over it. Not everyone likes the same wrestlers you do.

Because the IWC is some bizzaro world where the top stars should lose more then they win, despite the fact that the live crowds are firmly behind them. It's just the selfish "they should book things exactly how I like" mentality.

It's just the selfish "they should book things exactly how I like" mentality. This is horribly simplistic and generalizing. Do I like ALL the main eventers? No. Do I like most of them? Yes. I just don't think a guy who injured another guy should get his spot. Just because someone is hella over doesn't mean they should get the title or a main event push. Just ask RVD in his WWE run. It just seems like nowadays they give out titles or pushes (more on the title side) like party favors. If this was the case back in the day, Mr. Perfect, Razor Ramon, Ted DiBiase, and others would have been champion and Austin would have been champ a lot sooner. They gave Swagger the title. At first I was like "why?" Then, he won me over. Then, they booked him to oblivion. I actually like Sheamus better now without the belt and would be ok with another run.

It's just the selfish "they should book things exactly how I like" mentality. Perhaps if they booked said top stars to appeal to both young and older audiences, instead of catering to just kids, the IWC wouldn't have that "mentality" now would they? Orton's current run is the prime example on how to appeal to both audiences. BOTH adults and kids really dig him.

I used to LOVE Rey, his run in WCW is one of my favorite runs of all time, up to the point where he lost his mask. But, at this point, in WWE, he's easily the stalest, most played out character currently going. Every match essentially turns into "How are they gonna fall on the ropes for the 619 THIS time?", and it gets frustrating to watch.

I never really got the whole "He wins all the time" argument, because if that is the case how come he is not World champ right now

I love it how Rey has been a part of the best feud last year and this year but no one seems to care. And how did the Punk feud start? Aside from everything building into Elimination Chamber, everything after that was like this: -Rey interrupts Punk's match to qualify for MITB for, like, no reason other than to get revenge on Punk for EC. -SES interrupt a celebration of Rey's daughter's birthday, challenge him to a match, and beat him down because of said interruption. And we're supposed to feel SORRY for Rey getting into that predicament?

A mixture of him causing injuries and the bizarre notion that Rey is somehow the only guy who matters to a Hispanic audience.
