One of the things that surprises me is that out of all the Photoshop logos i've seen for this "NXT World Order", i've seen none based off of Tarver's "nXt" nWo ripoff shirt. Who needs that when you have VersionOne's awesome take on the logo in his sig? ;D Seriously, that's really awesome. Simple yet effective. It's called sarcasm, my friend. Simply because I think V1's sig is pretty damn awesome as well. ;D

Yeah, I really, really hope the NXT guys spent the entire three-hour RAW systematically taking out guys in the back... whether knocking them out or just luring them places and locking them inside without phones or any way to communicate. They had the feeling of a finely-tuned machine working toward a goal, not just a bunch of angry guys.

YES. This angle has actually made me feel sorry for Justin Roberts. The lack of commentary also made it even better. Lack? King got beat-up and Cole vanished. Was there any commentary? Thats what I meant. No Commentary = More awesomeness.

Saw the clip on YouTube to see what all the fuss was about.
This angle would have worked if it involved guys anywhere near the magnitude of Hogan, Hall, and Nash (or just Hall and Nash since Hogan is too high a standard). That worked because WCW guys were going to sell for them and it was realistic given the star power involved. I doubt HHH, Undertaker, and others are going to be as friendly with beatdowns as Cena was.
If AJ Styles and Samoa Joe left TNA, signed with WWE, and did this, I would have been intrigued. A bunch of rookies? It will not last long.

When I first saw Barrett walking down, i thought "oh, they're gonna go the standard route, with wade scouting and possibly interfering". Then, when I saw Tarver, i thought "oh, a Cena beatdown. Seen it before". When they started to beat EVERYONE up, I marked.

Little update from the arena last night...
"There was no dark match after Raw last night, just "medical personnel" and WWE officials helping the attacked employees backstage. It was said that there was a "huge buzz" in the crowd after the final angle."- Credit: Pwinsider.com

Thats B.S.

I've a nagging doubt this angle won't last long, it'll just be some game Vince is playing with Bret, but what do I know? It was fun.

I really hope they don't mess this up, and by that I mean NO MASTERMIND!
I don't wanna hear that Batista, or Vince, or Cole, or Jericho, or Regal, or anyone else was behind this. Just have it be that these guys were looking to make a name for themselves and realized the only way they were gonna do that is if they worked as a well-oiled, vicious machine.
I would have loved it if Barrett or Bryan picked up the mic before leaving and said:
"For weeks, our future, our careers, OUR LIVELIHOODS were in your hands......no more."
(drops mic, then leaves)

Thats B.S. No, I'm saying it won't work long-term because they don't have any name value. I edited my earlier post to eliminate Hogan (he's too big of a star) and just focus on Hall and Nash. Those two had name value and credibility. Sting (for example) was going to sell for them and it would be realistic. Who is going to buy any of these guys wrestling WWE stars? Again, if TNA guys showed up, it would have been better since they at least have some mainstream exposure. The angle obviously worked LAST NIGHT since it created a buzz, but long-term? Putting this in the same breath as the nWo is an insult, IMO.

They have such a huge chance here to make something out of a good storyline. Yet considering their track record the last few years WWE has really botched good storylines. Remember Vince's illegitimate son? Regal as GM Of RAW? Legacy? Lets hope they keep this going one going at least to Summerslam. I could see a big team main event for Summerslam. Or if they wanted to they could even go as far as Survivor Series.

I think this particular group of guys works better as a gang than the crop of rookies on Season 2.
Could you imagine Percy Watson kicking your ass while laughing like he does?

that was the best ending last night, best Invasion type thing to happen and done right, honestly how many times have the orgs made the invaders look weak.

I'm going out to have a version printed on a shirt tomorrow ;D

I wouldn't say it was as good as the NWO invasion but it was easily the second best one. This almost seems like a hybrid between the NWO and The New Blood.

Some of these guys have been wrestling for years, not weeks and given the right opportunity, are probably a damn sight better than some of the ''stars'' WWE have currently employed. At the end of the day, they are a bunch of guys looking to MAKE their name.
