They certainly aren't doing him any favors with stuff like that. I understand the rationale, but unless something else comes of it it would have been just fine to use Santino, Bourne or Yoshi Tatsu.
Cole's hatred of him doesn't help matters either. I also understand the rationale for it, but to some people his comments came off as valid criticisms.

Darren Young should be in Bryan's spot then!

Thanks OP. You've just given the Bryan haters a lot of ammunition with this thread.

Thanks OP. You've just given the Bryan haters a lot of ammunition with this thread. Well, the original message could come from a DBD hater also...

It isn't Danielson's fault. They are making him look like a total unerdog while being US champ. Didn't htey learn their lesson with Rey Mysterio?
It's like WWE has no idea how to book small guys which is why I'm very afraid for Kaval and Evan Bourne.
Unless they were setting up a big feud between Sheamus and Bryan which seems likely then what in the hell was the point?

Yeah, it can't be his fault. Why don't the marks love him like the smarks? They must be dumb! What I think....the fans cheer for Darren Young because he reminds them of Cena.

He got a good reaction when he won at the PPV the other night. Granted, some of that was because Miz lost, but a good reaction regardless.

But Darren Young has awesome theme music and was proven that he could hang with John Cena, plus he cost mean Wade Barrett a match against their hero Randy Orton.

When Cena's music hit; I truly thought Darren Young was carry his torch and come out rocking his gear. How cool would that have been?

Ignoring NXT because only 20% of "the WWE Universe" watched that show, his only moments in WWE were kicking Cena in the head, coming back at Summerslam, and facing The Miz. Without bucket loads of charisma or 10 minutes of promo time every week, he's really had no real chance to actually GET over.
That jobbing to Sheamus certainly didn't help matters.

Seems that people really don't know how to react to Ride of the Valkyries, which leads me to think it won't last as his theme.

He needs to be making more people tap. Feed him some Zack Ryder, Alex Riley, and maybe an Uso in some quick squashes and get him over as dangerous before Bragging Rights where he can make a smackdown guy or 2 tap out.

Yeah, at the PPV when that hit it was like the air was let out of the balloon. When he came out it picked up but, Ride of the Valkyries just isn't theme worthy, especially in WWE.

Well this is my take which is basically I am not sure Young is more over than Bryan. {Spoiler}I for one am not sure this means Young is more over. Young was the second match of the night so the crowd was still pretty excited to be there. The Jackson v. Primo match had been pretty good and gotten the crowd into things right off the bat. He also was just the first superstars match of the night which people were revved up for and he was against Regal who got as much heat as anyone besides Nexus. Though I must say I was disappointed by the lack of pop that Bryan got. He deserves a bigger pop than that.

He's still a rising midcarder who gets different reactions in different cities like every midcarder.

That crowd was obviously full of Young-sters.
But don't worry, if the WWE goes to New York or any other smaky place, the Bryanizers will be in full voice. Maybe they should have him cut more promos, or show a little more intensity - it seems like he gets beaten down every week on RAW.
