Ok, who am I kidding? It won't be fun, and I bet they'll find a way to not make it a platformer. Call of Duty: Spyro the Dragon!

Wait, is Activision developing the game, or just publishing it?

Well, it's good to know that Activision isn't completely giving up the worthless peripheral game.

This is the company who sold slightly-tinted glasses with a "Black Ops" logo on them for £150. I'm just sayin'. Also, isn't this the same technology WWE tried to sell me when I was 10 with that Titantron that plays music when a wrestler steps on it? I thought that was cheap crap THEN. Surely that costs about 50p to make altogether. And I wouldn't be shocked if the dolls were about £5 each.

Wait, why do I have to buy action figures to play a video game? Cards, like the one for PS3 maybe, but toys?

So, they dropped the True Crime & Guitar Hero franchises in lieu of mutilating the Spyro franchise & putting some stupid peripheral in it? f*** this company!

I stopped liking the Tony Hawk games after they went the serious "Skate" route. When did that happen? I have all the way through project 8 and I do not recall that type of shift, or much of any type of game play shift until Ride.

It was after, Proving Ground, where I got some serious Skate vibes off it.

Call of You Don't Know Jack King's Quest of Duty Also I am extremely upset that Toys for Bob is making this crap instead of a new Star Control game. Though knowing Activision, they'd turn it into a Space Marine FPS.

I'm actually at a loss for words.
So they cancelled the new True Crime and Guitar Hero on the basis of improving the quality of their game.
Then they announce a Wipeout game(based on the TV series not Sony's) a Family Guy game and this... butchery of Spyro.
And do they really need 5 developers focusing on Call of Duty?

I gave up on Tony Hawk games when they came out with the skateboard controller. All of them were pretty good before that (although I hardly played Project 8). I hope someone comes out with another good skateboarding game, I've never been able to get into the Skate series because I hate it's controls. Same here. Well, besides I actually did play a good bit of Project 8. Getting voice messages from Jason Lee was awesome. And American Wasteland was definitely the high point for me. The story was the greatest, imo, with an awesome cast and some killer voice acting thanks to Penny from Inspector Gadget and Eric Matthews. But yeah I beat it on the original XBox, then 100% chivo-ed it on the 360. But Project 8 did feel a little flat compared to the progression of THUG, THUG2 and THAW. And I wasn't overly big on the storyline or lack there of in Proving Ground and the heavily touted Nail the Trick mode, which is cool but hardly ground breaking.

The first Guitar Hero was kind of fun...six years ago; I'm actually surprised that people were still playing it. I don't think they have "lost their mind", they are a business and creating a game that will only sell 100,000 copies is not fiscally responsible.

I'm not siding with Activision here cause they have clearly gone insane but "butchering" Spyro? When was the last time Spyro even remotely mattered? This game will be awful but it's not like they're ruining anything good. Just seems like people are hopping on their high horses and trying to find new reasons why Activision sucks.

Well, it's good to know that Activision isn't completely giving up the worthless peripheral game. Wow, so it's a platformer where you have to pay money for the right to use characters in it...
