Have a new one.
A reminder of the rules... Banter is fine but as soon as it crosses into insults, no matter if you call someone an idiot or tell them to "go f*** themselves" then it's flaming.

Just to get this new thread off to a nice friendly start, it appears Rangers have been charged a second time with sectarianism from their fans. I'm sure at the moment they can still appeal these decisions so I can see the bans being lifted and fine reduced. news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13088419.stm

I've got some Swansea fan friends who'd be happy with that assessment

Guaranteed a Iberian Peninsula final in the Europa League.
I would like to see Braga win it but at same time i would quite like to see Porto vs Benfica.

Porto sound like they were absolutely dominant over these two legs. In the first leg they were rocking until Falcao scored.
A Villareal-Porto final would interest me greatly, hopefully with Villareal doing the business.

I'm going to say this, I think Porto may be the best team in Europe, with Barcelona very close as well. I hope they play in next year's Super Cup

I hope they play in next year's Super Cup No matter how good Porto are doing domestically they're still not in the top 10 best teams in Europe. Barcelona are head and shoulders above everyone else at the moment and are likely to stay that way for the next year or two.

Getting worried about Leeds' playoff chances. They're in there at the moment but not having the best of runs. Hopefully we can make it through.

They should replace the Super Cup with Cup Winners Cup
As for Leeds, Ken Bates should have spent some money and strengthened the team in January. I'm surprised some Arab billionnaire hasn't come in and bid for Leeds.
Massive fanbase, top quality city, WAG friendly with shopping second only to overpriced London, large stadium which can be expanded.
Makes sense to me.

Surprised they didn't have a minute's silence before the cup semi-final for Hillsborough.

I would say Porto is in the top 10, European wise, even if it's like the 10th. Sure, I'm suspect because not only I'm Portuguese but also a Porto supporter, but there might be about 6 teams in Europe that would win 7 or more games out of 10 against them, IMO.

I would be really really happy if Bolton won the FA Cup this season cause of Lofthouse passing away.
So i'm 100 percent behind Bolton winning the FA Cup this year.
Well done to Motherwell who beat St Johnstone 3-0 today and have reached the Scottish Cup i think out of Motherwell and St Johnstone, Motherwell are the side more likely to spring a surprise in the Final against Celtic*
*If Celtic beat Aberdeen tomorrow.
Congratulations to Brighton as well for confirming being Champions of League One. Hopefully they can continue on the good form of past League one winners in recent years and do well in the Championship next season. A well supported club and they deserve there new stadium after asking for it from Brighton council for as long as i can remember.
What is everyone thoughts on Leyton Orient taking West Ham to court by the way for entering there "gaff".

They are worrying about nothing. West Ham moving into that Olympic Stadium won't affect Leyton Orient in any significant way.
Leyton Orient will always have their own loyal fanbase
