So... {Spoiler}Any notable Thor allies/enemies missing in this movie? Also, is the Captain America trailer attached to it?

So... {Spoiler}Any notable Thor allies/enemies missing in this movie? Also, is the Captain America trailer attached to it? Balder and Valkyrie. Executioner and Enchantress are probably for the sequel. Otherwise, I don't read the comics, so wouldn't know who.

I need to give Iron Man 2 another shot but honestly when I saw it in theaters I didn't like it that much. Going tonight for a second helping of Thor.

Ulik is another notable Thor character who wasn't in the movie, but as with Balder I didn't think the movie hurt from his absence.

Going tonight for a second helping of Thor. I so badly want to do this. As do I. Anyway, I went to see this today and although I wasn't overwhelmed like most of the critics in the nation, I thought it was an entertaining film. There were just enough nods to the fanboys out there and Chris Hemsworth was a good Thor. I agree with those who say that Tom Hiddleston knocked it out of the park as Loki. I also liked more screen time for Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson. There is just something I've liked about that character since Iron Man. If you go to the theatre, you absolutely, positively, have to sit until after the credits are done rolling. Trust me, it's worth it.

Saw it last night. It was good. Like others have said Hemsworth is great as Thor and Hiddleston is great as Loki. Idris Elba was fantastic as Heimdall. I would of liked to have seen more establishment for Warriors 3 but I guess they will wait for the sequel where they can devote more time to that. I was a bit underwhelmed with the post credits scene. I was expecting a bit too much after reading critics rave about it. {Spoiler}Like I was expecting them to open the briefcase and find Dooms mask or i dunno, a note saying "ANTMAN AND THE WASP WILL BE IN THE AVENGERS MOVIE!!!"

I loved the movie, it ranks third-ish for favorite comic flicks Scott Pilgrim is first, Iron Man is second, but Thor is right there. hen I left the theater, I wasn't excited, or jacked, I was content, I got exactly what I expected. Great acting, a very Shakespearean bent and story, Loki as sympathetic and not flat out evil. Kind of weird to say I think Natalie Portman was the worst cast person in the film, and she wasn't bad at all. And to anyone who said HHH should be Thor... Yeah, I would love to see him carry off this script and make it this good.
