I was waiting Cole to say Brian Christopher, and I admit I marked out a lot when it was actually him coming out. Then he came out. And yeah. The road has owned him a LOT. Sad to see someone who you loved as a kid look like hell now.

Too Cool was mega over. Brian Christopher not so much. Christopher was only over as part of the Too Cool collective.

Too Cool/Rikishi were way over. But GMS wasn'y anything special. decent wrestler, played a goofball well. But Im not surprised he hasnt stood the test of time. You'd figure a 17 year old WWE fan right now was like six? when they were. Probably like if this was 2001 having Beau Beverly come out and expect a common fans raction

Was this the first time he ever actually SPOKE on WWE television? He used to spit/yell and laugh like a hyena in the early days of the WWF Lightweight title

I'm old enough and ahve been watching a long time and I barely remembered him. The name rang a bell, but nothing really came to mind.
I also thought the crowd reaction (OK, non-reaction) had a lot to do with the fact that it was just a terribly uncomfortable segment all the way around. And anyone my age was probably waiting for Cole to then bring out some 30-year-old women to talk about their encounters with Lawler 15 years ago.

He never got a crowd reaction when he was an active performer, so it didn't surprise me that he didn't get one last night. I marked for his return though. I don't care what kind of shape he was in. He looks just like his dad - who isn't in great shape either.

They should keep Sexay, bring in Scotty, join em up with the Usos and form Too Cool 2.0. Bring in Rikishi as the leader too. If the whole Too Cool schtick (magic sunglasses, dancing, The Worm all that stuff) can't get the Usos over, nothing will.

(i had to rewatch that segment twice, i still can't believe that's him. he looks like my mom's gay hairdresser friend. no joke. looks nothing like the guy you see on the 'tron)

To be honest, im 25, and I remember him mostly from playing Wrestlemania 2000 on Nintendo 64.
To today's fan, the Attitude Era consisted of Rock, Austin, Heel Mr. McMahon, Biker Taker, DX, and Mankind. Also the NWO for some reason. NOTHING ELSE. Edge and Matt Hardy got popular later, with the Lita stuff, and Jeff Hardy was only in the WWE for 3 years before CM Punk retired him. Christian is more popular now than ever, was never Edge's brother, and has never even SEEN Undertaker in person before.

Gm sexay would have to be considered the "weakest" link of the too cool faction. Scotty had the worm while rikishi had the big a$$, so they were more over.
Just to note from being there live, sexay got a mild reaction. However with him being at least 50 pounds heavier than a few years ago he looks OLDER than his dad (who doesnt look too bad for his age tho)!

He looks just like his dad - who isn't in great shape either. Come on he used to get a "decent to good" reaction. After last night, I decided to watch his return match vs. Kane on RAW from his short-lived 2004 comeback. Look for it on YouTube. Very warm reception.

I liked it when he and King were doing commentary on a Taka match with JR
King said that JR got stood up at a daddy/daughter picnic and Brian laughed then froze with the same laugh on this face.

I wasn't really shocked at how Brian looked, because he didn't look much better a few years ago when he was on Anderson Cooper's CNN show after the Benoit tragedy.

Can someone tell me what was the purpose of him dancing to ringside? It added nothing to the story line.

He isn't aging badly though. As far as dance moves, he still has it. However, is it me or does he look more like Guy Fieri than Grandmaster Sexay (not that Fieri is a bad looking guy)? He looked unrecognizable Monday night. That was not the great segment that it could have been.

Can someone tell me what was the purpose of him dancing to ringside? It added nothing to the story line. I'd have been very disappointed if he didn't. Always loved Grandmaster's dance moves. I still don't think he looked that bad, he was popular 11 years ago, of course he's going to look different and being compared to his clean living, young looking, surgically modified Dad is not going to help. Seriously, give him has brown hair with blonde tips, the old Too Cool WM2000 attire, a do-rag and goggles and he'd look pretty much the same.

He has put on quite a bit of weight compared to how great in shape he was back in the late 90s. I guess getting older and drugs will do that to you.
Brian Christopher has had a very hard life. The stuff he said about Lawler was pretty much true. That is why Christopher has struggled with being a drug addict for a long time and got fired twice for it.
