So Brian Christopher comes out: gets zero recation. Does 10 minutes of dancing: gets zero reaction, rips his father: gets zero reaction. I guess the Attitude era is not as well remembered as many think. Of course had it been in Memphis, he would have gotten a huge reaction, but I gotta imagine everyone else has forgotten him.
Also, seeing him weezing after dancing was kinda sad, and it didn't help that he looks as old as his dad.
So is this the last time we see the Grandmaster?

Even at his height he was pretty much just the guy with Scotty 2 Hotty and the Hip Hop Hippo. And when you're the least memorable part of a group with Scotty 2 Hotty and a very green Giant Bernard, that's not good.

In all fairness, the dancing was of a pretty quality standard considering his age, and I'd certainly be winded after doing all that. Was it a good idea before a big dramatic segment? Therein lies the problem. I'd rather have left the dancing out. Have him come out to the slower Too Cool music, maybe still with a little aplomb, but not quite so... All out. Pity he didn't get much of a reaction, but I thought the dialogue was pretty good there. Would have been better with Doug Gilbert, mind.

I felt sorry for him when he went on a "I used to be relevant" rant.

The current WWE audience is mostly younger fans from more recent years. They don't know who a midcarder from 10 years ago is.

I thought he looked like a bloated Dolph Ziggler.

I'm always curious how much the current audience knows about the Attitude era. Aside from people who still watch from that era I imagine the current audience is mostly kids who either:
a. Were too young during that time to remember it/weren't watching
b. Simply weren't born yet
And the rest of the audience very well might be parents who are only there because their kids enjoy it. While Too Cool was a super over tag team at the time they didn't penetrate outside of that era and aren't touted like E+C and The Hardy Boyz are/were. Why should the current audience know who they are?

Honestly, I had never even heard of him until he showed up tonight. He was the bad half of a mediocre Attitude Era lower mid-card tag team that liked to dance badly. You're really not missing much.

He never was that over in WWE. It's been about 10 years since his best run with Too Cool and Rikishi and most fans either didn't know him or just didn't care too much for him. On a side note, I think Scotty and Rikishi would have gotten better responses as they had longer careers. I sensed Cole was about to bring him out and I just knew he would get zero reaction.

Cole says he's going to rip on pro wrestling's poster boy for Megan's Law and the best he can come up with is that he's a bad father?
Weak.

Wait, that was Brian Christopher?
I had assumed it was a crazed Ken Anderson from 20 years in the future, who had traveled back in time.
