Well it looks like Riley has his first post-Miz feud with Dolph, and the fans are still popping for him. Am I missing something? Did A-RY do something impressive that I missed, because all I've seen him do is be inept as Miz's lackey, then wrestled Miz in some not terribly exciting matches, but for some reason the live audience loves him.
Do they think he's funny? Do they like his haircut? Does he come out during commercials and promises naked divas if they cheer for him?
What am I missing, because I agreed with Cole tonight that I wanted Riley to go away.

Totally agree. I liked him as Miz's buttmonkey but there's nothing compelling about him at all. His matches aren't good, his promos aren't good, but he's a real testament to the fact that Miz can get anybody over (at least, for a short time).

I didn't even realize his feud with Miz was over to be honest.
*Riley beats Miz a ton of times*
*Miz beats him up post match*
*Miz wins a match cleanly in a non-ppv match*
*Feud over*
Also really I don't know about the crowds, but I love his theme song. I don't even like him but I want to cheer for him every time it hits.

I have no idea how Miz's lackey ended up over. If anything I thought Miz would be turning face before Riley.

I don't dislike him as much as you, but I definitely don't see what everyone else does. He's pretty much just...there.
Although he looks like he's trying so he could still change my mind in the future I guess.

The opening of his theme is really, really good. Everything about it screams "this guy coming out right now is a big star!". It's fantastic.
He still needs to work on everything else, though.

He has a bit of intensity and deceptive size to him. He's a decent talker too but, really, they haven't done much to keep him relevant. Ziggler/Reilly could be decent though.

I was seriously irritated when he interrupted Dolph. Ziggler is at a point where main eventers should be putting HIM over. Instead, they're looking to use him as a tool to put over a guy who should be wrestling on Superstars. Riley is getting a Lashley push, and it irritates the piss out of me because he's so god damned green.
