When will it begin? Does the article state a date? From September. First tapings will be in August. ROH will continue their usual shows in their current markets, but will start doing more shows in the Sinclair markets. Ah, thank you for telling me

At first this sounds like a huge step forward. But unless Sinclair syndicates it to other markets this isn't too huge an upgrade over HDNet. There are ZERO Sinclair affiliates in New York City, Philadelphia, Dallas, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and a few other large media markets and other traditionally huge markets for wrestling. Yeah, there's online. But that requires people to really know about the product in the first place. Or prefer to watch something on their computers rather than a TV.
In short, this won't help them grow much, if at all, unless Sinclair shops the show out to stations it doesn't own.

ROH will likely need to increase their relatively small roster meaning there could be another good place for guys to work and get good tv exposure.

Especially to stations in big time ROH markets like NYC and Philly. Dallas, Atlanta and LA will likely require a bit more of a wait.

So, ROH is going to be on Fox in Saint Louis? Am I understanding this correctly? ABC 30 according to the map. Cool.

I think my feed of FOX here in Nova Scotia is from Rochester. This is great news. I've been dying to watch this show regularly on TELEVISION..so I'm excited.

Yeah let's be honest, showing their new show on their website won't draw crap. They've got to hope for syndication or Sinclair getting some new markets. I mean they seem to max at 1000 ippv buys so I cannot see them draw well on Internet tv.

So they got TV available to limited households and the way most people will watch it will be through the internet?
That sounds like HDNet to me.

Well I must admit I didn't watch much of the HDNet show on youtube but if they upload full episodes in one file to there website I'll give it a shot.
Hopefully they won't go the HDNet route of having every TV taping in the same place....I'd also prefer if they didn't tape 6 weeks of TV in one night, with the additional funding I don't think this will be necessary.
Playing fantasy booker a little here, who from the big two would you love to see ROH try and bring in, if current contracts, commitments etc weren't an issue and we're assuming ROH can now compete financially. I'm thinking of guys who fit the ROH mould and would keep ROH from becoming WWE or TNA-lite.
