Interesting claim, though such a thing would be hard to prove in a court of law I'd suspect. What does everyone think about the below story:

I love the emphasis.
"He IS on Facebook, Russo, so don't deny his being on Facebook, now!"

I saw him on PWO once and dismissed him as another boring "badass goth" character that tries to be like TDK Joker. And it's not like Crimson is ripping off anyone by using the name.
By the way, I AM on Facebook, too. Does that mean I'm ripping him off?

There's another guy on the indy scene who's big and undefeated, or is billed as Amazing Red's little brother?
Also, will he then go after this board cause of OUR Krimson?

And Krimson is a direct ripoff of Ledger's Joker, what's his point?

Yeah getting tired of everyone trying to channel Heath Ledgers Joker, and this is the worst case to date. He's stolen EVERYTHING from Heath's character... and I mean, EVERYTHING.

I like how he says Sting is ripping off his look. No kiddo. He's ripping off the movie The Dark Knight.
And seriously? Nobody else can be called "Crimson" because you're "Krimson"? The University of Alabama Crimson Tide better watch their asses.

This is one of the things that I hate about Ledger's Joker, you get all these goofs imitating the character instead of coming up with something original, and then getting angry when someone else rips off Ledger's Joker. You didn't do it first, Ledger did. Creativity is lacking.

I'm the first to criticize Russo on anything...but um, no.
Lemme get this straight. Crimson is ripping off the name while Sting is ripping off the gimmick? Crimson is another name for "Red". Crimson is Amazing Red's storyline brother. Hence Crimson. If anything, TNA is ripping off itself. And it's not like that is a super unique name.
As to the gimmick, this Krimson fellow is certainly not the first person to rip off the joker. I would guess there are dozens of lesser known Joker-wannabes on the Indy scene. You can't copyright a part of pop culture that you didn't even create.

Yeah, Sting seems more Jim Carrey than Joker. Maybe he's Riddler then.

Sting reminds me more of Jim Carry in The Mask, but I have not seen The Dark Knight so I maybe missing something. You must see it, more because it's awesome than because you'll see the basis of Sting's latest character. I'm not a comic book movie guy, but this one is good all around and stands on it's own, even if you've never seen any Batman films at all. Interesting that you see some Jim Carry in there. I never would've thought of that. I think that may be due to Sting not being that great of an actor, and not being able to pull off Ledger's joker.

How is this even possible? How has anybody NOT seen the Dark Knight!? Go see that movie! NOW! No. Only watch it if you've got about a half day to kill. I swear that movie felt like it would never end. (Still good though. Just a little long for my taste).
