Didn't Karen Jarrett say something similar...and less dickish? Yeah, but it came off as more whiny. Because if anyone's an authority on why Wrestling Matters, it's Karen Jarrett.

Not again, the pattern continues.......... So basically he didn't lash out at internet fans, but rather directed a response to people with a particular complaint that seems to be attributed often to the "IWC". Isn't making the leap that Gunner is "lashing out at internet fans" sort of non-conducive to the suggestion that IWC isn't a hive-mind?

It's more of a mild shove than a lash, really.

Seems a few fans decided to *ahem* lash back at Gunner via Twitter. This is one of the better examples I think.

That was quite a rant the fan went on. I have to say I agree though.

The 'lashing out' guy honestly sorta proved their point. Good grief.

What Impact Wrestling or TNA doesn't get is that yea you could have countless promos but what they are doing is not having promos it's soap opera, you have guys telling a whole story on a mic in the ring or doing backstage skits.
Do you know what a promo is? Mean Gene interviewing Hulk Hogan and Hogan saying "i'll get you Honky Tonk Man, you will face the largest pythons in the World, now kids say your prayers, take you vitamins". The End. Promos are really character-building. They say what you are and who you are gonna face with a lot of bragging. That is it. Now when you wanna start a feud you either cause something to happen in a match or you do it one time in a special occasion. For example Andre turning on Hogan on the Piper's Pitt because of jealousy. You do all you can to create the spark to cause something to happen and it can be anything, anywhere. But you don't have to do backstage segments or do a whole soap opera discussion in a ring like Erik Bischoff.

How about learning to cut a promo or do backstage s*** before u shoot on a company."
I hate this logic. You are not involved in the business so don't dare give your opinion on the subject.
You see that logic makes no sense. I watch something to be entertained. If I don't like something I wont watch it. Whether I have any knowledge of how it works behind the scenes does not come into it, makes no difference. Thats the way the world works.
My problem with TNA is this: While I do like the odd thing that they try, for the most part I don't like what I see on the show. As the saying goes, for every one step forward they take two steps back.
