Jericho will be gone soon. After signing that major deal, Fozzy is about to do big things and according to him they start a tour this Summer.

Seem to remember him saying that his last go around too and I don't remember him missing much if anything other than the house shows. Not saying it couldn't happen, I'd just be surprised if Jericho was only back for 3, maybe 4 months before leaving again.

I can totally understand the boys being upset that The Rock is is in the Main Event of Wrestlemania. It would be like if you played in the NBA and you've worked your arse off all year and have made the Finals, only to be told that you're being cut from the team because Michael Jordan has come back and is gonna in the starting 5. Sure you still get paid, but you're the one who's put in the work all season to make the team what it is.
I'm sure there wouldn't be this much backlash if The Rock had just came to do some Raw's live. Once every 4-6 weeks. Work with some new blood. Not leave the entire year-long-fued for Cena to build up mostly by himself!
Cena's Wrestlemania Payday wants to be extra huge for the amount of crap he's had to deal with this year!

Most of his friends who were there when he came into WWE have retired/moved on/done other things and he's finally finding some mainstream success.

I don't get the hate, it's not like he's come in and taken a World title match, hell, he's even REMOVED Cena from the equation.
The other guys now get to showcase their talents in front of the most watched WrestleMania of all time. Where's the issue?

Someone said on Twitter that he was leaving after WrestleMania and he replied that it was total BS. Now, we know Jericho likes to try and work his fans. But this will just make him look bad if he is lying.

*ahem* Dey took er spot! DEY TOOK ER SPOT?! DEY TOOK ER SPOT! Seems to be the general complaint but it doesn't really stand up considering 'Mania is built on special one off matches that people are willing to spend a crapload of money on.

Exactly, I don't remember seeing too many people complaining when Floyd Mayweather came in. I bet Mr T didn't have many people complaining when he was in the ME. At least The Rock has contributed a hell of a lot to this business.

Ah, the Rock's not really a pro-wrestler anymore.
He's just a Hollywood Celeb to me now. Another one of the many B-List actors they try and feature to get a few more of the hoopleheads to watch WWE in the post-Attitude Era.
They should make it a tag team match if you ask me. John Cena & D.J. Cotrona vs The Rock & RZA. The more "star power" the better.
If you're not interested in the Rock vs Cena match, the invented the FFW button just for you.

That would make sense if basketball was like wrestling. But it isn't, because wrestling is staged. Why don't these wrestlers who are mad at The Rock complain about John Cena whenever he buries them and makes them look like idiots? Why didn't CM Punk complain when his heat from after the summer basically got killed off by that nonsense feud with HHH and Nash? Hell, look at what happened to guys like Kofi. It's funny how you hear all these past stories about wrestlers complaining to bookers and coming up with their own angles and characters and ish like that. To be fair, their creative team seems to come up with terrible crap all the time and if you complain they just ignore you but that was happening in the 90s too. I don't get it. Rock doesn't come, they say "Oh he sold out". I bet they thought that he would just come, do his eyebrow, and leave but once it became apparent that he was more over and more popular than they realized they caught feelings and started whining. I mean, did the roster in 2002 complain when Hogan came back? I don't remember Austin or Rock talking about how Hogan betrayed WWF when he went to WCW or how HBK refused to put anyone over when they were coming up.

Considering many peoples argument is that any celebrity/non-full time wrestler is taking up a spot from the guys who work solely for the WWE all year round there's no real difference in it. Focus of the show or not a spot is being taken away. Obviously I don't believe in that but that's the general feeling from the "go away Rock" side.

IC Champ, Tag Champ, 7-time WWE champ...just a B-list actor? Okay then.....

So, in one sentence, you say that you have no interest in seeing Rock because he's a "B-list actor." In another, you tell people to press fast forward if they're not interested in the Rock/Cena match. If you want people to listen to what you have to say, try not talking down to them. "Oh look, I used a term from an HBO show, aren't I the smartest person on this board".

I think too much of this comes down to jealousy, that Rock has a passion for more than one thing and is actually successful at both and that when he's come back the shine's not gone from his star.

Ahh, sorry, I read that wrong. Yeah he was in the latest Journey movie but that seems more driven on the story and effects than actors.
