This houseshow I went to was pretty piss poor. I remember the crowd was pretty dead throughout the night. The biggest pop of that night was when Mankind gave Chyna the mandible claw WWF @ Long Island, NY - Nassau Coliseum - June 21, 1997 (8,817) Scott Taylor pinned Aldo Montoya Rockabilly pinned Flash Funk Brian Pillman pinned Jesse Jammes Henry & Phinneas Godwinn fought the Legion of Doom to a double disqualification Farooq & Kama defeated the Headbangers Mankind defeated Hunter Hearst Helmsley via disqualification WWF World Champion the Undertaker & Ken Shamrock defeated WWF IC Champion Owen Hart & WWF European Champion Davey Boy Smith BTW its not listed here but Vader pinned Goldust that night. That seems like a hell of a card to me.

WWF @ Stoughton, MA - May 5, 1985 Ricky Sexton fought Doc Butler to a draw Rick McGraw defeated Mr. X Mario Mancini fought Prince of Fame to a draw Paul Roma defaeted Pete Doherty SD Jones fought Moondog Spot to a draw George Wells defeated Mr. Fuji I think we have a winner. I found this show. Not WWF, but one of the final WCW shows: WCW @ Lake Charles, LA - February 25, 2001 Rey Mysterio Jr. & Billy Kidman defeated Shannon Moore & Shane Helms, Yang & Kaz Hayashi, Jamie Noble & ? The Demon defeated Robbie Rage WCW US Champion Rick Steiner defeated Hugh Morrus WCW Tag Team Champions Sean O'Haire & Chuck Palumbo defeated Lex Luger & Buff Bagwell WCW Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero Jr. defeated Shane Helms Diamond Dallas Page, Dustin Rhodes, & Ernest Miller defeated WCW World Champion Scott Steiner, Jeff Jarrett, & Road Warrior Animal While not the worst card ever, (the cruiserweight matches were probably good), the fact that ERNEST MILLER was in the main event is pretty crazy. Although, didn't he get a decent push in late 2000? How about this show: WCW @ West Plains, MO - Civic Center - February 1, 1997 Syxx & Vincent defeated High Voltage The Renegade defeated Terry Taylor Jeff Jarrett defeated Big Bubba WCW TV Champion Lord Steven Regal defeated Alex Wright Lex Luger defeated Meng & the Barbarian in a handicap match WWF @ Clarksburg, WV - Nathan Goff Armory - January 14, 1988 Johnny V defeated David Sammartino Dan Spivey defeated Scott Casey Outback Jack defeated Barry Horowitz The Ultimate Warrior defeated Steve Lombardi The Junkyard Dog defeated Hercules B. Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell defeated Nikolai Volkoff & Boris Zhukov when Brunzell pinned Zhukov with a small package after a mask switch WWF @ Brookhaven, NY - Bellport High School - February 12, 1995 Man Mountain Rock defeated Mike Bell Mabel defeated Tony Devito Hakushi defeated Aldo Montoya Doink the Clown defeated the Brooklyn Brawler WWF Tag Team Champions the Smoking Gunns defeated Mike Bell & the Executioner King Kong Bundy defeated Adam Bomb Jacob & Eli Blu fought the New Headshrinkers to a double count-out Lex Luger defeated Tatanka in a lumberjack match Mike Bell TWICE?

Different strokes for different folks I guess, No Stone Cold, No HBK, No Bret Hart, I was a disappointed kid at the time and thought the WWF was half-assing that night.

WWF @ Orlando, FL - September 11, 1995 (600) Hakushi defeated Rad Radford Savio Vega pinned Duke Drose WWF Women's Champion Bertha Faye pinned Alundra Blayze with her feet on the ropes Davey Boy Smith pinned Bam Bam Bigelow after sending Bigelow head-first into an unprotected turnbuckle Goldust pinned Bob Holly with the Curtain Call Jacob & Eli Blu defeated the Bushwhackers after the Blus switched places and hit a boot to the face Razor Ramon pinned Sir Mo with a small package after about 1 minute

Here's another option I found: WWF @ Warwick, RI - July 28, 1995 (1,500) Skip defeated Aldo Montoya Jean Pierre Lafitte defeated Duke Drose Razor Ramon defeated Hunter Hearst Helmsley via count-out The Smoking Gunns defeated Jacob & Eli Blu Bob Backlund defeated Man Mountain Rock Savio Vega defeated Hakushi King Mabel defeated Bam Bam Bigelow IMO, this is f***ing terrible. Think the Razor/Helmsley match would be decent though.

Although, didn't he get a decent push in late 2000? Its usually forgotten about, but The Cat was crazy over for most of his WCW run. His pairing with Sonny Onoo was very underrated and he did well in his role as WCW Commissioner towards the companies end. I seem to recall a WCW show from 96 that had only like 5 or 6 matchs on the card and featured Alex Wright vs. Mongo as the main event. Heres another contender: WWF @ Orlando, FL - September 11, 1995 (600) Hakushi defeated Rad Radford Savio Vega pinned Duke Drose WWF Women's Champion Bertha Faye pinned Alundra Blayze with her feet on the ropes Davey Boy Smith pinned Bam Bam Bigelow after sending Bigelow head-first into an unprotected turnbuckle Goldust pinned Bob Holly with the Curtain Call Jacob & Eli Blu defeated the Bushwhackers after the Blus switched places and hit a boot to the face Razor Ramon pinned Sir Mo with a small package after about 1 minute You know, as utterly horrible as that main event is, if everybody wore their working shoes, the undercard could've turned out really good. Although I can't imagine anybody on that undercard being particularly motivated to do that.

The most shocking thing in this thread is that Road Warrior Animal was in WCW in 2001.
Seriously , What?!

I don't think so. I was looking at some cards from the early 90s when they ran three house shows a day and some of the "C" shows had pretty bad cards. This one from Jan 15, 1990 was pretty bad: Conquistador #1 vs. Brian Costello Sapphire (w/ Dusty Rhodes) vs. Slick Randy Savage vs. Jim Duggan Hercules vs. the Brooklyn Brawler Tugboat vs. Frenchy Martin The Bushwhackers vs. Nikolai Volkoff & Boris Zhukov Christ, other than Savage/Hacksaw, that looks terrible. Did you miss the part about Tugboat vs. Frenchy Martin? Quality match!

Just picked up the UK Rampage events from 1992 & 1993 for cheap and looked at the dvd listing for the '93 event. Has WWF served up a worse looking card than this?- Fatu with Afa vs. Brian Knobbs Doink the Clown vs. Kamala Samu with Afa vs. Mr. Perfect Damien Demento vs. Bob Backlund Brooklyn Brawler vs. Typhoon Intercontinental Championship Match Shawn Michaels vs. Crush Lex Luger vs. ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan I would crawl on my bare hands and knees to any arena in the world to see Doink vs Kamala

Many wont be surprised when I tell you the best match was Mr Perfect v Samu in a way more entertaining match than I anticipated, next best was HBK v Crush in a brief and lively encounter....erm I guess Typhoon v Brawler was just about the 3rd best match on the card (Yes that is how awful this event was!) Kamala v Doink at least was helped by the fact it was Heel Doink and included the amusing shenanighans of Kamala not knowing how to pin, sadly he had no guidance from Harvey Whippleman or Kimchee to put him right this time Dishonourable mention goes to Damien Demento & Bob Backlund who served up the 2nd most boring match Ive ever seen (Austin v Taker from Backlash '02 is still the most boring match Ive ever seen btw!) The event is so bad even Bobby Heenan messes his lines so badly during the intro, never seen him fluff that much badly. So yeah in conclusion avoid this event like the plague, unless you have slightly masochistic tendancies like me.

Say what you will, but I'd jump at the chance to watch Damien Demento and Bob Backlund wrestle in my town. In fact, I'd really dig most of these matches live...
I mean, I'm pretty sure I'm going to attend any wrestling show featuring The Renegade vs. Terry Taylor. That is, if it's occurring in 2012. I might have a different attitude if it was 1997, though.
