Some real crappers in here, most of my experiences with live shows were pretty good, my favorite was actually in the expo center instead of the colisuem(which I though would stink since it's smaller), headlined by Angle/Rhyno and co-headlined by Jericho/RVD, both great matches and featured other good invasion based match ups. My brother said the first WWF show ever in Fort Wayne was a bit of a crapper and was upset for picking over the first and only JCP show at the Coliseum. Despite JCP's better attendence(5,000 vs about 3,000, 9,700 was a sell out and most WWF/WCW house shows did around 4-5,000 in the late 90s) they never came back, WCW didn't come back until 1998 for Nitro, which was the first real sellout for wrestling here since the 1987 WWF show headlined by Savage and Hogan. Here's the WWF show from '85 WWF @ Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum - October 17, 1985 1st show in Ft. Wayne: Rick McGraw defeated Steve Lombardi Randy Savage defeated Scott McGhee The Missing Link defeated Pedro Morales Ricky Steamboat & Cpl. Kirschner defeated Don Muraco & Mr. Fuji The Junkyard Dog defeated Terry Funk via disqualification 9/20/85 Fort Wayne, IN Dusty Rhodes beat Ivan Koloff Magnum TA drew Tully Blanchard Sgt. Slaughter beat Boris Zhukov dq Larry Zbyszko beat Buck Zumhofe Superstar Billy Graham beat Pez Whatley Bill Irwin & Scott Irwin beat Calypso Jim & Bobo Brazil Brad Rheingans drew Steve Regal Att 5000 The NWA show looks better, Calypso Jim/Bobo Brazil, and Steve Regal were popular wrestlers here due to the WWA(Bruiser's promotion that ran across Indiana and was televised and ran shows locally in Fort Wayne). Many of the older people here remember Bruiser very well(many who don't watch wrestling today and didn't after he retired), he was a legend here. Also Magnum TA vs Tully Blanchard would be amazing to see live and apparently there was blood, odd for a house show. The WWF show is certainly not the worst, 1985 through 1988 is full of some real stinkers. I guess when Brutus Beefcake and Hercules faced off and Gorilla said it could be "a main event anywhere in the country", he wasn't joking. The JCP cards were much better from the time period and the one in Fort Wayne was a b-card featuring many local stars, most had Flair in the main event against either Magnum or top territorial stars. I did find this while searching for local shows WWF @ Ft. Wayne, IN - Allen County War Memorial - May 5, 1987 Included Danny Davis I can't find the rest of the card, but I could only imagine. That probably comes from voiceovers they'd throw into the weekly syndicated shows where they'd have Fink talk about upcoming cards and mention one or two wrestlers that would be appearing. So the only info about that card known is that Danny Davis was going to be there. That doesn't mean it was any better or worse than other shows necessarily. Upon further look it was probably extremely similar, if not the same, as the Peoria, IL show the night before

Wow, that may be the worst card yet. Although BC/Storm was probably good.

Pete Doherty was lovingly refered to as "The Duke From Dorchester" for about 6 years he was on EVERY show they did around the Boston area, even on Some NESN shows from the Boston Garden he did commentary alongside Gorilla Monsoon.

Gosh some of those 80s cards are actually making me grimace while reading them.
I was trying to think of some of the cards I went to, but none are even close. This is the worst show I ever saw live:
WWE (Raw) @ Green Bay, WI - Resch Center - July 12, 2003 WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Sylvian Grenier & Rene Dupree defeated the Dudley Boyz; after the bout, Spike Dudley made the save Mark Jindrak pinned Rico Maven & Garrison Cade defeated Randy Orton & Lance Storm WWE Women's Champion Gail Kim defeated Molly Holly and Trish Stratus; Val Venis was the special referee for the bout Christopher Nowinski & Rodney Mack defeated Tommy Dreamer & Rosey (Nowinski’s last match) Test pinned Scott Steiner with the pumphandle slam WWE IC Champion Booker T pinned Christian Ric Flair (w/ World Heavyweight Champion Triple H) & Kane defeated Rob Van Dam & Kevin Nash; after the bout, Kane hit a chokeslam on RVD, Nash, Flair, Orton, and Booker T until Steve Austin came to the ring and hit Kane with a Stunner

The only others I know are DeNucci (mainly for training Foley), Garea (for being an agent and breaking up every brawl in the 90s) and Scicluna (who I only know because he is in the WWEHOF).

This wins. All the other "older" shows had Terry Gibbs, and Terry Gibbs was the frickin' MAN! (Terry Gibbs, for you unaware, was the scrub wrestler who had the fortune to face some new guy named Hillbilly Jim.) I wouldn't walk across the street with front-row tickets in my hand to see this. Holy crap, that is awful! Moondog Spot going to a draw with ANYBODY is enough to make Chuck Norris cry.

It kind of puts into perspective how lucky fans are today to at least get a good deal of the main guys at the shows.
If they tried to put a kind of card on today that's similar to the one above, the equivalent main event would be Trent Barreta v Sakamoto.

I agree. A lot of those shows at least had guys who won matches on TV, or were getting pushes of some sort.
I can look at every card from 1985 onward and tell you who the main event was. It was usually the 4th match or the one before intermission. Or it would be the one with an inconclusive finish. (DDQ/DCO/screwy ending.) That way, they use the intermission to tell you that "President/Commissioner so-and-so requested that they settle their score the next time they come to town", and try to push tickets on you.
I remember a WCW card right after Doom (Ron Simmons & Butch Reed) broke up. They had a DDQ finish and Gary Michael Cappetta came out during intermission, telling us that "the WCW Board Of Directors insisted these two settle their differences with a conclusive finish. Tickets are on sale for the next time WCW comes to town, and they have signed Butch Reed vs. Ron Simmons...in a steel cage match!"
(I think they did come back and had that match. There was a report in PWI about it, but I didn't go.)

OP: That DOES look like a pretty bad show, although HBK always puts on performances that are at least decent, and I mark out for Damien Demento, so those two guys save the show from being a total downer in my eyes.
