It's been delivered 23 years too late but I am glad that the families and friends of the 96 who died at Hillsborough all those years ago are finally vindicated in what they have been saying for all this time. Hopefully now somewhere down the line justice will finally be served. It's a very long and heartbreaking piece but I'd urge everybody to read this article, truly gives you a stark perspective of the events on that dark day: www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/hillsborough-documents-released-brian-reade-1318730I knew the general story and have read quite a bit of the story in the past couple of days but to read it in those terms........Damn. I don't normally get misty eyed when reading past tragedy's but I did so reading that. Actually have a documentary on it saved on my Sky box. Need to watch that

I see some Man Utd "fans" were doing sick chants yesterday about Hillsborough. Scumbags.

Good start to the Champions League for Arsenal. Although our defence was very dodgy at times and 2nd half we barely got out of our own half. Podolski is already looking like a great signing and hopefully Gervinho can keep this good form up.
Glanced over at the Real Madrid Man City game a few times in the pub and looked very good 2nd half. Although how City blew a 2-1 lead with 5 mins left I do not know.

Referee ruined the Liverpool/Man Utd game. Evans rather than Shelvey should have been sent off for his two-footed lunge.

Very happy with Arsenal's point at Man City but it's funny how all week I've said "I'll take a point" knowing full well that just wasn't going to happen. I knew I wouldn't be satisfied with a point.
And thanks to Gervinho's woeful finishing that's exactly how it went down. We should have had all three. Still unbeaten though but until we get our filthy hands on that trophy it means jack squat.

Quick question to any Rangers fans.
Are you offended as the club is that BBC Scotland parodied the Mad Men opening before the League Cup tie with Motherwell?

We're 5-1 up and yet still I'm not getting excited about a potential first league win. I'm f***ing loving BR though, we are playing good football, and I like that he has the balls to play players like Suso, Wisdom & especially Sterling who has been a revelation so far this season. We still need a real striker though, regardless of today's result, the lack of depth in that position is worrying. But oh well, COME ON REDMEN!

Anybody else pretty impressed with Everton so far this season?
The hallmark of every recent Everton side has been a horrible start to the season and then they play like gangbusters from maybe January on. This has been very different, thus far, this season.

Anybody else pretty impressed with Everton so far this season? The hallmark of every recent Everton side has been a horrible start to the season and then they play like gangbusters from maybe January on. This has been very different, thus far, this season. I've been really impressed with them. They're playing good football and Fellaini has been one of if not the best players in the League so far this year. Leighton Baines is the best left back around as the moment and Pienaar and Jelavic are both playing well. I always want to see Everton do well. I know some Liverpool fans don't feel the same way but I think they're a great club and Moyes is a great Manager. Great win for us today. We've played well the last few games and just needed a bit of good fortune. Suarez showed that on his day he is a world class player and apparently should have been given a pretty blatant penalty. Perhaps his reputation that he is not a world-class person is getting the better of him. He should have had one the other week but he spends so much time on his arse that when he genuinely gets fouled, Refs are having none of it. What do people think of John Terry's ban? After Suarez got eight matches for a similar thing, is the ban not long enough?
