... The likelihood of Norwich holding this lead for 80 mins against Chelsea? Lasted all of 5 minutes haha.
Have got to see Tettey's diving header on MOTD soon - almost went out for a corner, was hilariously bad.

Big weekend ahead in WCQ in CONCACAF. America could possibly be eliminated next from Brazil 2014 on Tuesday. USA, Guatemala and Jamaica are tied at 7 points through 4 matches. Antigua and Barbuda are last with 1 point. USA travels to A&B on Friday and then hosts Guatemala next Tuesday in what should be a chilly Kansas City. Top two advance to the Hexagonal Final Round.
Mexico is already in, El Salvador and Costa Rica are fighting for the second spot in that group and in the final group, it's a three-way between Panama, Honduras and Canada for the top two.

For all of these teams, getting into the hex is huge because, even though there are only three guaranteed berths directly to Brazil, the CONCACAF playoff is against the Oceania champion and I would wager that any of the six teams in the CONCACAF hex could easily win that match.

Oh dear, Wellbeck resorting to diving (or "attempting to win a penalty" as commentators put it) in order to break the deadlock against San Marino, what a proud day for our nation.

Bale is even worse than Suarez. Yet doesn't seem to get anywhere near the criticism that Suarez gets for it. Maybe that's because although Bale's a tit, he hasn't reached Suarez levels of Titdom yet.

Bale dived against Aston Villa too
So I'm sure Tony Pulis, Michael Owen and the rest will all be calling for him to be banned too.
For the sake of consistency, right?

This is where America played tonight. It was a giant puddle by the second half. Despite all that real estate, the field was 70 yards wide, the minimum allowed by FIFA.

So going into Tuesday's last matches in CONCACAF's 3rd round, here's what we know:
- Mexico is the only team, thus far, to qualify for the hex.
- In Group A, the US and Guatemala are level on points and goal differential and play each other in the final match. A draw would see both go through, but if one team wins and Jamaica beats Antigua badly, Jamaica might be able to get through on goal differential at the loser's expense.
- In Group B, with Mexico already through, the battle is for second and right now Costa Rica leads El Salvador by two points. It's an uphill battle for El Salvador, as they need a victory against Mexico, whereas Costa Rica should be through with even a draw against a very weak Guyana side.
- In Group C, Panama leads the group on 10 points, ahead of Canada on goal differential. Both Panama and Canada only need draws in their final matches, but Canada has a much tougher task away to Honduras, who can qualify with a win. Panama is away to Cuba, who lost four players last night when they defected to Canada prior to the game in Toronto.

Maybe because Bale doesn't complain to the ref about it, unlike Suarez who complains pretty much all the time for not getting the decision. Still Bale is a tit.

Maybe because Bale doesn't complain to ref about it, unlike Suarez who complains pretty much all the time for the not getting the decision. Still Bale is a tit. That's what I didn't understand about Rodgers' diatribe last week in regards to Suarez. Has Suarez been unlucky and not been awarded fouls/penalties when he should have been? Sure, but that's not the issue. He's a serial flopper and, because of that, he's got a reputation and he doesn't seem to understand that. He's never going to get the benefit of the doubt because of his repeated behaviour. So when Rodgers came out and said "Well, maybe he's going to start having to win these penalties through simulation", I was incredulous because this is already what he attempts to do. As for Bale, he's unnecessarily gone to ground enough times now to warrant a reputation. He's becoming serial himself.

Bale doesn't draw attention to himself. That's the difference for me.
