I saw this last week and enjoyed it. I loved Electro's song. It was actually a very clever way of building him up to his heel turn, hearing the weird paranoid ramblings in his head steadily growing steadily louder and more coherrant the further and further off the rails he falls. Plus it was a cool song. Overall I enjoyed it. I do think the movie should have ended differently. Have Goblin drop the hints for the Sinister Six first, then have the movie end with him killing Gwen. I always think trilogies work best with the middle movie ending on the ultimate low point for the heroes. In this case, it should have ended with Gwen's funeral and maybe an end of credit show of Goblin plotting the Sinister Six. As it stands, Spidey has fought and beat Goblin too soon. Other than that though, Ihave no flaws. Very fun movie. There was barely a fight between them. There's a lot of ground left to cover.

There was barely a fight between them. There's a lot of ground left to cover. True, but I'd have preferred them to leave any conflict until the climax of the third movie. Even though it was a small fight, it did technically end with Spidey getting the win. Just think it would have set Goblin up as the badguy better if Spidey didn't manage to get his hands on him at all. Still, that's my only quibble and it's a minor one I'm looking forward to see the Sinister Six. I just hope Vulture gets a big part since he's one of my favourite of Spidey's badguys.

I'll be interested to see how they portray Vulture. Over the top? No more do they go young vulture, old jewel thief, old Fagin style and despiser of the weak. Vulture has never been a big threat, he's just a robber but the films like to make the villains be city/country level threats. So how do you make vulture a bigger threat than he is?

Have him violently destroy New York city like everyone else has. Oh, and make the police as inept as humanly possible. No old jewel thief...we need a revenge story. Perhaps he tried to date Aunt May at some point, but Peter objected. Actually, they might be saving that for Doc Ock.

If Doc Ock does make it into the next movie, I hope they get Elton John to play him. And I also hope he sings a song while playing the piano with his tentacles.

Robert Englund in his prime is another example of someone who could pull his cartoon character off in live action. With some SFX he'd be a good Vulture. Yes, I can't let go of Spectacular...

I think Garfield is the superior Spider-Man, but not the superior Peter Parker. Kind of wish we could have some sort of Frankenspider-man.

Wait... Garfield was really Doc Ock!? What a twist! I think Garfield is the superior Spider-Man, but not the superior Peter Parker. Kind of wish we could have some sort of Frankenspider-man. Well I guess technically it doesn't have to be the same guy playing him in the suit... (hey usually it isn't anyway... to save money) but that would probably be confusing to most people

I enjoyed it, but it felt like they tried to fit a third movie into the last 20 minutes.

Saw this today, and it is pretty much my new favourite superhero flick. I'm legitimately baffled at the negative reviews here.

Go the Spider-Man Noir route and make him a cannibal.
