Wrestlezone.com:
According to PWInsider.com, WWE has begun really focusing on how they can fix the Divas division. WWE have begun using focus groups with fans, asking them what they like about the division in the past, present, and what they want to see in the future. They have also been asked which Divas they liked before, as well as which ones stuck out now.
This test of fans is a good barometer to show that 2013 will be a year where changes in the WWE Divas division will occur. Fans are being asked specifics about Divas, including if they want them to be managers, wrestle more, dance, and other avenues.
This is likely another newz story about the divas that will amount to nothing, but I do find the idea of focus groups critiquing Divas on their dancing ability quite funny. ;D

Same old, same old.
And, call me crazy, but I think AJ will get the nod as the Diva that sticks out in the modern era.

Do they really need a focus group to do this?
A - Stop wasting money trying to turn talentless bikini models into wrestlers B - Actually hire divas who can wrestle, have charisma and stand out from the crowd C - Give them more then 1 minute a week to work and actually give them feuds and storylines
There you go Vince, I've just saved you a whole lot of time, money and effort.

I can't believe they are that blind to it. I haven't cared for the ladies division since maybe 2006

More bikini contests, more bra and panties matches, please.
Oh, and throw in a decent 3 minute match every now and then so wrestling fans won't flip the f*** out.

If they can't understand the problem with the division, I have no hope for the future.

Yeah. I'm sure it's that simple. No chance that the women you hire won't get over or appeal to the crowd right?

Get your overpaid writers to come up with a one year storyline between AJ, Paige and Kaitlyn. It doesn't have to be all in the ring either, they could manage people (ideally tag-teams) or play a part in stables (like the newz about Paige joining the shield).
There sorted.

If the idiots can't figure out what's different now than from the Trish/Lita/Molly/Victoria/etc days, then no one can help them now.
Aw screw it. Give the booking over the division to Vince Russo. It might be a cluster...but at least you could tell the girls would have personalities.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - just one simple change of gimmick to save the division:

People laugh about the Attitude era divas matches, but T'n'A' got those ladies over.
Not suggesting WWE should go that way again, but even the talentless ladies of that era were over huge with the crowd vs the crowd not caring for anyone remotely talented these days

Women's wrestling just isn't a draw in the US and A.

Problems with the diva division really have little to do with how long they wrestle or which ones they have, but just a lack of character for them period.
AJ has some character. So the crowd responds. Give more divas some character. Then people will want to see them, then they can have matches that are a little longer.
Doesn't mean any particular diva needs to be featured in long segments over and over for months, but just that there should be personality the crowd can easily recognize. For example Alicia Fox has been there for years now. How does she act? What kinds of things does she say? After all this time, that still hasn't been established. So she isn't over.
