What were some WWF/E debuts that either got you really excited or really bored?
While I haven't seen it, most people have said Kurt Angle's debut in 1999 at Survivor Series against Shaun Stasiak was on the receiving end of many boring chants.
On the opposite side, I remember getting really excited when RVD and Tommy Dreamer first appeared that night when ECW reformed (this was before Stephanie was revealed as the owner of ECW).

Taz' WWE debut had me all sorts of excited, as did Kane's. Course I was a lot younger then, and a lot more easily impressed. But damned if I didn't mark out when Taz choked out Angle and make him tap to the Tazzmission.

I was really excited about the Lashley debut, although I've cooled on him since. In recent memory, the Matt Stryker debut was pretty good, and I fell in love with Kennedy the first time he said his name... MR KENNEDY!

His Smackdown debut he was Kennedy.... I guess in OVW he was Anderson.
Smart move though, as you never wanna tempt the wrath, the ball of fire, the toughest SOB on the planet, known as Keanu Reeves.

Kennedy..........Kennedy, debuted on Velocity as Ken Anderson, and then the next week wrestled as Ken Kennedy and the announcers acted like the second time was his first match.

Y2J worked. Having Tazz come in and choke out Angle pissed me off.

Angle´s debut was planned to be boring, vince wanted him to go over as a top heel because he knew this guy is so sympathic, so he put the crowd in a position where they just HAD to boo him

I hated Lex Luger's debut: after months of hearing how amazing the Total Package was, we have a big man posing queerly in front of huuuuge mirrors... WTF???
Ric Flair's debut on WWF was great. Dunno if it actually was his first appearence, but the Funeral Parlour episode w/ Hogan (and Taker) has to be one of the best shootish segments ever.
A propos, Undertaker's debut was just OMG!
Last time I was impressed by a debut was with Jericho.

Tazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's debut defenitely worked for me, completely marked the hell out at 3 in the morning or whenever it was on over here.
same with chris jericho, and RVD and Dreamer, especially as RVD and Dreamer was unexpected, for me anyway, everybody seemed to know that Jericho and Tazz were coming anyway and when they were debuting so it took a tiny bit of impact away from it for me.
Ravens was good too, it was in philladelphia too, its just a shame they brought him in between a boring as hell feud.
Kane's debut was terrifying too, i was well uinto it, ripping the door off the hell in a cell and stuff, woot.

Ultimo Dragon's Debut Just didn't work. Cool entrance and all, but then he went in against Shannon Moore.
I thought TAKA's debut kicked ass

Booker T's I liked, made me sit up and take notice even more. I just thought "WCW has arrived" but then it led to nowhere.
