Strange people still don't grasp the scope of corporatism. Cena is not turning heel. You are not getting what you want. The carny audience, divided as it seems to be (Often by dubbing), is. Cena may as well outdo Punk in his next reign. What else is happening? Plenty, but nothing the 'E is willing to acknowledge. Busy breaking further into the corporate political arena. Clear failure over the course of decades, but try nonetheless. Your time is up, folks. Since competition's been eliminated there's nothing left but financial upheaval. And this often precedes logic.

He'll tease it again next week, roll into WrestleMania 29 to beat Rock clean, then come out the next night on Raw using bad jokes to insult fans in the front row and that how even though his back was to the wall, he could "stand here before all of you today and tell you that THE CHAMP IS HERRRRRRE!!!!" -- followed by another Punk feud that lasts till June.

The WWE have Orton, Sheamus, and Ryback as fairly strong faces. They within the last few months/year turned Del Rio, Miz, and Big Show. There were all those rumors about how many in the company believe Ziggler's future is as a face. This is to say nothing about the Daniel Bryans Kanes and Jerichos who could step into a main event program without any problem. Punk could turn face in one promo because no one really wants to boo him.
If they ever wanted to turn Cena heel, they are certainly stacking the deck with faces.

Honestly, Cena finally turning heel out of desperation, and cheating to beat the Rock and become the champ would probably save this year's Mania for me (not saying the action won't be good, but nothing does it for me on that so predictable card).
Not only that, but it would make sense, especially since they seem to be booking their main Mania matches a year or so beforehand, so they probably have the Cena/Taker already penned in. And a heel Cena vs a face Taker @ Mania 30 almost writes itself.

What are the odds of a screwjob finish? I don't know. It seems unlikely to happen, but the thought popped in my head.

The next night on RAW, Cena comes out as WWE Champ and admits to going against his best judgment and letting his desire to win get the better of him. He says he's embarrassed and grants Rock a rematch on RAW. The match happens and the same events play out as the night before: Cena can't seem to get the better of the Rock, so he cheats to win again. This time, he embraces it and destroys the Rock after the match, cementing the turn. Cut to Kane in the locker room: "I told you so"

Cena turns heel, rematch with Rock at Extreme Rules where he wins again in a street fight, faces Lesnar at Payback. Slow build to heel Cena/face Punk at SummerSlam.

When Bret asked why Cena and Rock weren't as hostile towards each other, Rocky took time to point out his last match with Cena went smoothly. While "grudging respect" is the match's theme, that still seems like foreshadowing.

I want him to turn heel, beat Rock, and then come out the next night with the same character, like nothing happened. ;D

This feud is starting to play out like Rock/Austin at WM 17 in a way.
Also, I LOVED the segment. It was cool to see Rock and Bret in the same ring.

Oh no, I'm not falling for this again. This must be the 4th or 5th time where a Cena turn has been 'predicted' because of a promo or the way a feud is going, and every time nothing has happened.
Cena ain't turning, end of story.

Ok, here is what I will do.
If Cena turns heel at WrestleMania, I will finally change my username and for a month, it'll be "I am eJm and I'm a Douche".
That is how confident I am this isn't happening.

Like he'd need to be blatantly heel and confirm a turn on Raw going into a post Mania program as a heel.

My god Cena was fantastic. He came off as so desperate and willing to do anything to beat the Rock. If he cheats to win at WrestleMania, I will be a happy man.
