Then that great final segment was a bit of waste. Guy sold the desperation of a victory and his need for it very well, and it'd be a shame if we got the same stale character after Mania.

Idk. I feel that if he turns heel on the Rock, he'll be left floundering with nothing to do once The Rock leaves.

They still don't really have a top face to take over for him. Orton could be the guy but he's got his wellness situation and he's kind of old news. Sheamus isn't that over. Ryback is too 1-dimensional to replace Cena. Jericho is part-time.
Still...I really want it to happen. I just don't think it's going to.

Idk. I feel that if he turns heel on the Rock, he'll be left floundering with nothing to do once The Rock leaves. It would be so easy to turn Punk face to set the balance again. A good majority of the crowd won't boo him, anyway.

Honestly, as long as people have been calling for it, tonight was the first time a Cena heel turn actually seemed viable. He seemed pissed the entire segment, and then he stepped it up with "I beat me".
Not gonna lie, I'd cheer THAT heel Cena.

I really hope so as well. That, as someone said earlier, was the first time where a Cena heel turn looked like a distinct possibility.
If that was just a tease and nothing comes of it, dammit if John didn't rope me in there for a minute.

This was the 1st time in the like 3 years of Rock-Cena nonsense that I actually cared what was happening. I see this being like HBK-Hogan where HBK heeled it up for a couple weeks then as soon as the match was over, went back to his old character

Ryback? Sheamus? Del Rio? The inevitable babyface Punk? And when need be they can have D.Bry go solo again. All of those are money matches which would then lead to heel Cena confronting Undertaker next year...

Yeah, they're really running on empty if they don't pull the trigger here. It's not like the crowd is going to boo him any more or something. Him being a heel isn't going to stop the merchandise from being moved.
But seriously, what a great way to plant the seeds, so they better f***ing deliver.

Rock should've called Dial A Mattress, 1800 MATTRES, and left off the extra s for savings.

Yeah seriously, I'm a fan of face Cena but the Rock is such a bastard right now I really want to see Cena get his hands dirty to destroy him.

Cena fans have always said if Cena turned then the people who boo him now would cheer him. Clearly that's not the case from these posts. It's all Cena fans sticking by their man. Loyalty is a beautiful thing.

Idk. I feel that if he turns heel on the Rock, he'll be left floundering with nothing to do once The Rock leaves. Ummm...he's the biggest name in the company and would be the biggest heel, you better believe he'd have something to do. Better yet, what would he not do if he stays face? Fight another dastardly heel? Oh no...what ever is going to happen?!
