The way he walks backward akwardly after kicking makes him look drunk, it goes well with his midlife crisis look.

At least it wasn't as bad as that time he beat up Sheamus before WM27. The year prior, he made "putting Sheamus over" ultimately all about how strong he (HHH) was going out of his regular career, and then on top of that the following year, he just dismantled Sheamus anyway, as if there was any doubt who the real alpha male was in that little program.
It was just another kick in the nads for Wade Barrett, a guy who they don't care to book strongly anyway. We'll see where he goes over the summer when all the part-time 40yos are done squeezing their last few matches out.

I assumed the sound guy made a mistake and they had to recover.

I wonder if Triple H yelled "THAT'S MY PURSE! I DON'T KNOW YOU!!"

I thought it set up the ending to the Miz/Barrett match perfectly. "working an injured body part(s)"

Hunter will be pulling this on and off for a good three decades or so if all goes as planned. Unsure as to how physical displays of an infinite ego trip makes rising stars look good, but hey, the guy would rather wrestle a broomstick. HHH is shaping up - or already has shaped up - to be the typical corporate boss; i.e. ridicule publicly those beneath you as a perverse way of motivation/self-satisfaction. Yet it's been noted, extensively in the psychoanalytic field, the two actually go hand in hand quite unwell from the standpoint of casual observation. And entertainment is observation.

New fav HHH GIF. If I had the talents, I'd make a "Building new stars? Not on my watch." gif out of this segment.

But the Atomic Drop targets the tailbone. If Miz was working the injured part of Barrett, he'd have to target his groin, which would get him disqualified.

My brain inserted the "ding!" sound effect from the old AKI wrestling games for the Nintendo 64.

I'm not amused by it, but we're all used to this by now, I guess.
That "big push" Wade was supposed to be getting this year is sure going well though, huh?

I love the way Triple H bounces right after it, like he's about to bust into the choreography from N*SYNC's "Bye Bye Bye" music video.

Man, what is this shit? Wade's one of my top five favorites and he's getting treated like a jabroni without even having a feud with Trips to go with it.

Oh boo hoo. It was a funny way to give Wade an excuse for losing his match. It made Miz kind of look like a huge underdog. The match sort of DID come off as if Barrett would've obliterated Miz if not for taking that kick to the groin.
