I thought it was a funny moment. But what do I know, I'm a Triple H fan.

Paul Levesque is an idiot. The smartest thing he did was transition from Chyna to Steph. As aforementioned, brace thyself for periodical beatdowns and burials from HHH well into the coming decades. You think Vince was/is jacked? That's h's most basic influence. Also, I don't mean Idiot in its most Dostoyevskian, blatant terms, but just moreso pertaining to a guy who just can't get enough. And now he's taking things over. What is this, amateur psychology hour?

The act in itself was a bit random. Funny though.

Eh, I thought it was fine. They could have had Trips beat him to a bloody pulp, but he just cheapshotted him. That probably means Trips likes Barrett.

He did it to get you all to stop praising him for being the savior of the company with his recent office-related "successes". It actually has the opposite effect, it makes the HHHaters swoon over anyone he "buries". HHH understands that. There will always be a cult popularity for guys who are deemed to be "unfairly treated." Once a guy is perceived as having the company fully behind him, he loses that likability with that portion of the fans. It's not cool to like who the company wants you to like. That why so many CM Punk fans cling to the notion that the WWE has mistreated him or "held him back" or whatever. The thing is, Barrett is a heel, so why would HHH want to garner sympathy for him? If he kicked Miz, a face, in the nuts instead, then the "trying to get fans behind the underdog by blatantly treating him like crap" argument would make sense

Triple H stole my gimmick. Careful now. You wouldn't want to have Triple H come after you next now, do you?

I'm not saying HHH wouldn't have been the man wrestling wise without her. But he wouldn't have taken over the company. So it was the smartest thing he could have done.

Why would anyone be mad about that? It's not like they had Barrett go out there and try to cheap shot Triple H, only for H to give him the beatdown of a lifetime... Trips kicked in the balls and left. It makes Triple H look like a tool, and Barrett still wrestled a match afterwards. A lesser man would have refused to work after being kicked in the balls by his boss, but not Wade Barrett, star of WWE Films new film Dead Man Down.
Triple H comes out of it looking worse than anything. And no I'm not talking about the non-kayfabe "Paul Levesque", as was mentioned earlier. I'm talking about Triple, the badass King of Kings character that had to kick a guy in the balls for interrupting his exit.

I can't even get upset about it. It's like a running gag at this point. Pretty much, I can't even get mad anymore, I find it hilarious. Honestly, same here. The moment I saw Wade approaching Trips I started giggling like a school girl, when a few years ago I would have had my angry internet rant already fully typed out.

Not knocking HHH or praising Vince here, but the big difference here in my opinion is that Vince wasn't above ridiculing himself, even pissing himself on national television. I just can't see HHH doing that outside the odd "LOL, he's got a large nose" joke (and even there, it seems only Shawn is allowed to make those).

HHH is awesome. If Barrett loses any sort of momentum because he was kicked in the balls by a legend it has less to do with HHH and more to do with Wade.
It's just something funny they tossed out there.

HHH is only trying to stop the Barrett Barrage. Which he assumed means his sperm count.

It didn't bother me, and it played into protecting Wade while letting Miz get a win on him.
But the Triple H character is such an unlikable dickhead. That's how he gets a face reaction, kicking a dude in the nuts for no reason.
