Saw the debut. I loved it. From the opening promo to the beatdown.
Husky Harris chant was lame, though.

I still can't get over the fact that he "blew out" a lantern that had a light bulb in it He did that because he's KRAZEE

Didn't Orton kick him in the head? Maybe he doesn't even remember he was Husky Harris and is very confused by the chants.

It was awesome outside that stupid "Husky Harris" chants. But the entrance part of things was cool. But the blowing out the landern to only come out with one was odd. He should just "walked off screen" and then came out.

I really enjoyed the entrance and theme. Aside from that it was really just a beatdown. The two guys are frickin huge though. Anyone know the height and weight of them?

Yeah, as soon as I heard Husky Harris, my heart sank, but besides that, that was one of the coolest things I've seen in quite a bit. Although not too many people liked the buildup videos, I liked them because with each one, you knew you were getting closer and closer to their debut. Not to mention the candlelit building, the ''obey'' going in a loop through Rowan's head, Wyatt and the lantern, and then of course, his promo. It's almost amazing how we went from Husky Harris to Bray Wyatt, and how a guy that doesn't really talk can just open his mouth and grab our attention. Almost like a (Weird Example, I know) Mike Knox sort of thing.
The entrance gave me chills, the beatdown was well done, I just hope the chant was a one and done type of thing, because the Wyatt Family can REALLY go somewhere, and I don't want to see them fall into nonexistence when you've got a great gimmick here.

I thought it was a great debut. The video promo just before they came out was tremendously creepy, and Bray Wyatt did one of the best pieces of acting I have ever seen in WWE. The entrance in pitch black with the lantern was superb and I hope it stays just like that. Them attacking someone was predictable, but I didn't care, it worked well I thought. I always think that stair spot looks great. I'm glad they brought the rocking chair from NXT.
The Husky Harris chants are lame (is it supposed to be funny? Clever? Whatever crowd, it was lame). I'm not sure they'll stick, and I hope they don't.
Thumbs up for me.

My random thought: Blowing out the obvious led lantern was stupid but I suppose there's no way to really fix that and still make it kinda intimidating, flipping a switch doesn't have the same effect, and I'm going to guess the arena didn't want them to use a real one. Also making rocking chairs appear has to be one of the worst super powers ever. And everything that happened only really enforced what I've been saying that Bray isn't going to be wrestling,

Just saw it on YouTube. I think the gimmick will go far if they allow it to. Why? It's different. It's not a generic guy doing generic things like everyone else the WWE seems to do. This character has depth and is well acted. Much better, at least in presentation, than Waylon Mercy (the characters aren't even similar, so I don't know why that comparison ever came up in the first place).
I'm not familiar with "Husky Harris", so I don't know if the crowd chant will continue, but I doubt it.

Yeah this is clearly more Manson Family inspired than Max Cady.

The chants won't kill the gimmick but like the "what" chants they are annoying wrestling hipster bullshit. Seriously do those morons go to see Lone Ranger and chant "Captain Sparrow"? Luckily it was just a small section of idiots trying to show off how cool and edgy they are by chanting the old names of a wrestler, it won't kill the gimmick just like its not what killed Tensai, it was debuting a fat white dude as some kind of Asian Wrestling Demon that killed him. But seriously f**k those guys, I don't give a crap if its their "right" or they bought tickets, f**k those guys and their lame tired ass chants Oh, how I pray someday that the word "hipster" is banned from this forum. I really hate how it gets brought up in every thread and has become the go-to, generic, memetic insult. Don't have any idea how to insult a group but want to put them down anyway? Use "HIPSTER!!" like countless other members have in the past when they want to insult but half the time can't agree with a reasonable idea of what qualifies as a hipster in the first place!!! IT'S THE ALL-PURPOSE SCAPEGOAT!!! Now people who chant the "What" chants are hipsters--wrestling or otherwise? Really? What f***ing sense does that make? Audiences across the country who never need to have watched the show before can chant a common, one-syllable word that's been in semi-regular rotation on television since 2001 or 2002 or something, and that qualifies as hipster of some kind? Hey look everyone, a hipster

The Wyatt family gave me legit chills in all the best ways. Bray's promo before their debut almost brought tears to my eyes it was so damn good. I feel like I absolutely "get" what they're supposed to be and I love it. I was too busy just marking the f*** out to notice the Husky Harris chants.

If you watch their NXT stuff you'll find that Eric (bald one) usually drags out a rocking chair for bray, It was likely the case on monday but with no lights we couldn't see it.

He'll deal with the chants, he's good on the mic and has great presence-he's still his character even when he isn't talking. I wouldn't compare him to Tensai, who only got to shout Japanese and stand behind Big Johnny in a shiny red diaper. He got the odd 'Husky Harris' chant in NXT, of course he'd get some when he went into the big leagues. I'd focus more on the pop they got when they came out then a few guys chanting Husky Harris, that pop was great for a guy who isn't a big name.

Armchair booking;
If he wants to acknowledge the chant, I'd love to hear a promo like this from hi next time:
"Last week I heard a name I havn't heard in a long time.....Husky....Harris. Yes I WAS[Emphasis here] that man, I was lost, I was confused, I was adrift in a sea of lies and sickness. Friends...I found the cure,...I found my way to clarity,...I found my way to the truth.....and soon.....you will all see it too....and in time....you will thank me for what I did."

Would this be effective? If crowds are chanting Husky Harris at him, he could point at sections of the crowd and chant "Sheep! Sheep! Sheep! Sheep!" Or would this just exacerbate things?

I don't know why everybody seems to think that "Husky Harris" chants will ruin the gimmick. Clearly what will ruin it is, since they enter in the dark except for the lantern, he will be unable to see a banana peel thrown on the ramp by a fan along the barricade, slip, roll down the ramp, and split his pants, giving the worldwide television audience a full "Rory Fargo." 2 weeks later, he'll be dancing with Brodius and Tensai.

I re-watched it, I was right about Erik dragging the chair, Also my GF who lives in Baltimore went to the show and loved it, She mentions not hearing any chants where she was. This leads me to think it was a small group that sounded larger due to all the cameras and mics being in that area.
