I felt they could have set up the movie in a better way. Rather than the odd plot device that people think they are frauds when they obviously weren't, I think it would have made more sense and been funnier if at the end of Ghostbusters, they were sued for insurance damage, and that's what killed their business and forced them into day jobs. They could have explained that the gratitude of the city ebbed away quickly when the insurance claims started to come in.

I saw it once in theaters when I was 8. I thought it was amazing and have not rewatched it because so many people say it is bad and I have a felling that I will agree with them if I see it again. I want to keep the memory of loving this film. It wouldn't hurt to give it another go and form your own opinion rather than be influenced by what others think.
