1. The fans haven't really been given a solid reason to cheer her. There needs to be more than "DID YOU KNOW? Brie Bella is engaged to Daniel Bryan!?" out of the blue one week, especially when the Bella's have been bitchy characters up until that point.
But then...
2. The Bella's are pretty monotonous, dull actresses and lack that spark that makes fans care about them. Kelly Kelly was an awful actress, but had that "it" factor that made fans care. Nikki is the better of the two when it comes to heel work, but as faces they're both terribly dull.

You mean one of the two pre-eminent mean girls in the company, who is also criticized for their less-than-spectacular in-ring ability, wasn't able to generate sympathy in the span of a couple of weeks because of who she is engaged to?
What is wrong with these fans? Don't they get the brilliant entertainment WWE is putting out?

They still don't understand that AJ should be the face and the Bellas should be the heels? You really don't have to do much tweaking lol, AJ is a bit like CM Punk playing with the urn. She's still going to get a pop from a large portion of the audience.

I think once again some people within the WWE just assume that their audience watches Total Divas. I haven't watched Total Divas (not because of the Bellas or anything, I just hate shows like that), but I hear she is pretty likeable on the show. Well how many people in the WWE's target demographic actually watch Total Divas? How many of their fans have a reason to care about her outside of what they see on Raw/Smackdown?
This reminds me of the story/newz a few years ago that the WWE was confused and shocked that David Otunga wasn't getting much of a reaction, and they thought people would care that he was married to Jennifer Hudson. Or how WWE was shocked that the audience didn't care that MVP may have been dating a host of the View (Star Jones?)

I don't believe this at all. But they credited the Wrestler Observer? It got to be true.

I think once again some people within the WWE just assume that their audience watches Total Divas. Lol this, my sister watches the E network and subsequently Total Divas. She doesn't watch wrestling at all and only would have the vaguest of idea of the women on the show. They underestimate how popular the E network is with women.

She didn't even f***ing turn face. This just happened. Nothing has happened on screen that makes people think the Bellas are face.
They were torturing Kaitlyn less than 2 months ago.

How is it even possible to be confused by this?
WWE shouldn't be confused by fan apathy towards any Diva. They've well cultivated that apathy for years. Especially when said Diva has been booked as a mean girl bitch for almost her entire tenure.

Why would we have sympathy for Brie? She was in a fair match against a superior opponent and she lost. By this logic, the bookers should be perplexed about why Yoshi Tatsu isn't the most popular guy on the roster. (He actually probably could be, but that's beside the point. You dedicate your programming to the idea that losers are losers, it's bizarre to then wonder why someone who loses a fair fight should be the one we care about.)

I think the most annoying ever was when AJ was on the ramp running down the Total Divas and you could hear the Bellas at ringside yelling nonsense the entire time.

She doesn't watch wrestling at all and only would have the vaguest of idea of the women on the show. They underestimate how popular the E network is with women. See I never understood what WWE was trying to accomplish with Total Divas. If they just wanted to make a show for E Network, fine as my understanding is that the program is doing well on the network. If they thought they were going to get viewers from E! to watch Raw and Smackdown then they're idiots. If they thought a majority of their fans (which is predominantly male) was going to go and watch the show religiously then they're even bigger idiots. Not saying there aren't those that do cross over, because there are, but the percentage is not big enough to make a dent in the ratings (though I do think they've somewhat got the picture there as the Total Divas shilling and promos have gone WAY down on USA). It's kind of like with that season of Tough Enough they did (which I was entertained by). I read that USA and WWE were hoping that Rhima would last longer than she did and were shocked that she did terribly. Well no shit she didn't do well.

They even went as far as saying their years of using "Twin Magic" wasn't as bad as having AJ at ringside to cause the distraction.

Clearly the problem is that Daniel Bryan is just not that over with the audience at all, so this needs to turn into a WM30 HHH vs. Big Show vs. Cena vs. ADR feud by Survivor Series.
.......Bryan can wrestle in the pre-PPV battle royal and do pretty well in that, I guess.

Cannot decide which newz this weak is funnier, WWE supposedly being confused that the stilted performer who they never even officially bothered to turn face isn't getting over as a face, or Rey Mysterio supposedly relying on a cure for arthritis to allow him to keep working.

The booking of the Divas over the past few months has been haphazard. They make sudden, out-of-nowhere changes to the Divas and sometimes these changes are quickly forgotten about.

I'm honestly surprised the sudden connection hasn't caused Bryan to lose steam.
It's like nobody at WWE realizes the problem presented by having their two biggest babyfaces have girlfriends whose characters are really terrible people. In a kayfabe sense, wouldn't this cause people to think that Bryan and Cena maybe aren't the good guys they're cracked up to be? Maybe they're going for a reverse Liz/Savage sympathy situation?

I imagine them just sitting in a room going "I don't get it, she's engaged to Daniel Bryan, WHY ISN'T SHE OVER?!"

Also, the crowd was telling you something when AJ gave her 'Pipebomb' about the Total Divas. What the crowd did went against your vision, so you ignored it. You end up coming off tone-deaf.
