Or those teams have competent management group and the other teams management group is incompetent, owners aren't as rich as the other owners so they aren't willing to pay more for franchise players, can't attract free agents because they are bad. - Anyways I believe the NHL 2005 and 2007 draft lottery was rigged - I believe the NHL always tries to get many game sevens as possible in the playoffs. - The Ukraine and France game was rigged beyond belief yesterday because no way in hell would they allow France to miss the world Cup and isn't FIFA's president French? Also why is it always Ukraine vs. France every qualifying year or being in the same division as always? Is it because it's a incredible one sided rivalry for France? I hate sounding like a dumbass, and maybe I just am, but I do find it hard to believe that for the last 60 years the Browns have never been wealthy enough nor their staff competent enough to even get to the Super Bowl. No, the Ravens don't count. The Ravens DO count because they were, at one point, the Browns. In the early 90's Cleveland had a very, very good team and organization but Modell moved it because he didn't get the facilities and deal that he wanted from the city. Similarly, the Baltimore Colts left for Indianapolis for very similar reasons.

No. FIFA's president is Swiss, not French. Didn't watch the match, but was there anything in it to suggest it was rigged? This "no way (this team) would be allowed to miss the World Cup" thing I do not believe. And since when has France always been put against Ukraine? Even if they have, how is it an "incredible one-sided rivalry"? The last match-up showed that it was anything but.

Because it's a bunch of new guys and a new head coach who had an incredible 9-0 start. Last year qualifications, 2002 1998 I think. One of Frances goals was offside. Lots of bad penalties called against Ukraine and few on France. The first game extra minute was suppose to be 3 went for 7 minutes instead. Then again I was I a pub both games and The more French people were agreeing the with fewer Ukrainian people and both groups were pretty knowledgable about the game

I believe that Kobe was guilty of Rape. The Janet Jackson incident was Justins fault 100 percent The Tupac and Biggie feud was not as big as their respective crews made it outto be And that the reason Jersey Shore was successful was because unlike Teen Mom and every other stupid show MTV has came up with, JS actually has a cast we cared about for all the seasons (yeahiI said it) Yeah I know some if not most of these theories are dumb but they're in my crazy little head so yeah

I don't believe for one second that Michael Jordan "retired" to play baseball in 1993. He was absolutely suspended for gambling, but the last thing the NBA and corrupt-ass David Stern would ever want would be the face of the league suspended for some nefarious off-court dealings, so Stern and Jordan struck an accord that he'd "leave the game" for a few months, but found a way to cover it up with the whole baseball schtick. On a similar token to this theory: I think that some of the injuries Alex Rodriguez has had [which have been close to "convenient" injuries] were actually Bud Selig secretly suspending him for PED use to try and lessen the shame- and the recent super-long Biogenesis suspension, combined with the appeal and A-Rod's age, was a backdoor lifetime ban- with Selig saying "you're really getting banned for life, but if you fall in line, in exchange we'll claim it this way so you technically remain eligible for the Hall of Fame"

Anderson Silva took a dive in the Wiedman fight so he could get a huge payoff in a rematch

I believe that David Stern (NBA Commissioner) rigged the 200 32 Western Conference Finals between the Lakers and Kings in favor of the Lakers. The Lakers were a big money market and the "Sexy" team, so to speak, the Kings were the lovable underdogs...but not nearly as marketable. Regardless, the officiating in Game Six of that series rivals that of the 2006 Finals in terms of most blatantly unfair. Edited for correctness. I believe the NBA is more rigged than people imagine. I even remember a former NBA ref being interviewed saying that his job was to make sure star players didn't foul out.

Anderson Silva took a dive in the Wiedman fight so he could get a huge payoff in a rematch You think he allowed himself to be K.O. punched in the face and hammer-shot on the mat immediately thereafter to throw the fight for money? If so, it was the most potentially dangerous, career-threatening dive ever. He could have been concussed and never fought again. There would be no way to gauge what would happen after he fell. Unlike boxing, MMA allows you a window to go for another blow after you fall. If he was going to throw it, the safe bet would have been tapping quickly.

As for mine: I think most people who speak up for social causes and change are full of shit and are just saying so so to not look bad to those they're not sure feel the same way. If everyone was as progressive as they pretend to be on the Internet, this world would actually be a much better, different place, full of equal rights for people, and referendums or same-sex marriage votes would be landslides.

Supression of cures for certain medicial conditions (more money made from treatments). I doubt this one. Someone finds a cure for a major illness and can then dole it out at an incredible price (before bootleg versions come into existence), and retire rich or use the money in a huge number of investment schemes. That seems way too good to pass up. Unless there's more money to be made by developing a treatment which must be administered on a regular basis, thus preventing their deaths, but not curing the underlying condition.

I seriously think while all pro sports arent "rigged" theres a wink of the eye between officials and league management to make sure the best possible result has the best chance of occuring.

Even if they were progressive in real life, have you seen the rest of the internet? Their great ideas would be drowned out by millions of people yelling about how gay and bad Justin Bieber is.

Three pages in, and no one has mentioned the New Coke/Coke Classic thing? That one... I'm more inclined to believe that it was a 'happy accident' for Coke instead of a plan. Coca-Cola had actually changed their formula several times before the whole New Coke thing, it's just that they never called attention to it. They called attention to it because they were losing market share to Pepsi, which was kicking Coke with their "blind taste test" campaign. It's just that the public were so used to Coca-Cola as an American institution that they were so PO'd about any change to it. In responding to the talk of conspiracy, I believe it when the company president famously said, "We're not that dumb, and we're not that smart." Another one: I'm sure I've heard somewhere that Tupac and Biggie were killed in order to keep the East/West feud going, so that each side could make more money out of the conflict.

Wouldn't shock me if money is what started the feud. Between the downfall of NWA and the rise of party hip hop, something had to have been done. Enter two fresh young rappers who wanted to prove themselves and voila

The Janet Jackson incident was Justins fault 100 percent It was 100% planned to get people talking, and to get people to pay attention to the Halftime Show. Janet Jackson and Timberlake agreed to do it to get more press and money, CBS agreed to do it because they got money from the NFL, and even more media attention for it. That was nobody's fault that was planned, and went as it was supposed to. Remember for the longest time the Halftime Show was considered a joke, but after this it became must see.
