Had a "banana bread" beer last night on tap at a place in Chicago. Really tasty.

Can't say for sure, since I haven't tried all that wide a variety. As it stands though, Bud Light's my ol' reliable. Never had a bad experience with it.

It was Sacramento Beer Week this week and all week long bars and restaurants have been having specials on craft brews. Tomorrow is the main event though, over 100 breweries will be lining the street in front of the State Capitol for beerfest. I already got my ticket, it was 30$ for all you can drink from 1pm-5pm. I'm going with a huge group of friends and we're starting off with brunch and bottomless mimosas then heading to the festival in the afternoon. Here's a list of all the breweries www.capitolbeerfest.com/brewers/Anyone have any recommendations for me to try? I figured I'll be hanging at the Lost Coast booth a lot, but I want to try as many different breweries and beers that I can.

I have yet to find a beer that I actually think tastes good.

I had a few milk stouts from Colorado the other night, those tasted just like those Frapachino bottled coffees, delicious.

Anyone ever have this yet? (not my picture, not arsed to use one of my own right now) In spite of the unique label, it's pretty much Stone Ruination IPA with a bit of grapefruit peel...then again, it's Stone Ruination IPA with a bit of grapefruit peel. Enough said.

Enough said. I haven't had that one but I've tried a couple of Grapefruit beers. ABITA makes a Grapefruit IPA that is "ok", but IMO ABITA is just an "ok" brand anyway. I also had this Grapefruit beer at a tapas bar I frequent. Forget the name of it but it's essentially carbonated grapefruit juice that gets you buzzed... I downed a half dozen of them.. light, refreshing and summery. I'd grab it again if the temp ever breaks freezing.

Oh my god beerfest was insane! No lie I probably sampled about 100 different beers today and I'm f***ing hammered. I had several barley wines for the first time today and they were soooo good! Definitely got my money's worth!

I'd say Corona or Budweiser.
