Also, cult leaders aren't so outwardly obvious about being cult leaders. They're usually much more guarded and sneaky and deceptive about whether or not they're even leaders. This is true. Manson, Jim Jones, Yaweh Ben Yaweh, David Koresh, none of them called themselves cult leaders, or even leaders. They were patriarchal, sure, but they were "helping", they were "sharing wisdom". Hugely off topic, I know, but I love studying cultists and to be frank, Bray is more akin to a Mansonian character while Cena is, weird to say maybe, a Pied Piper style character. Hogan was the same way, although not nearly as overt and blunt about it. Hogan was a "do the right thing" babyface, Cena is that with a little bit of Jake Roberts "I'm the only one you can trust" thrown in. They just refuse to acknowledge the latter part. Yeah. One of the few accurate things Bray said was that Cena paints the idea that only HE can save WWE or only HE can stop the 'evil forces' in WWE. He paints it so that ONLY Cena can give people what they need.

Cena really does fit a cult leader in a lot of regards though. He's always talking about what he believes in, talking about Hustle, Loyalty and Respect. That people should believe and not give up in him. He's always ambiguous with it though, he never really takes a hard stance on any subject seemingly letting people come up with their own interpretation so as not to offend or turn away potential followers. His face and his "teachings" are all over his merch that young, easily influenced children wear. Cenation can easily be identified as a cult. Also, cult leaders aren't so outwardly obvious about being cult leaders. They're usually much more guarded and sneaky and deceptive about whether or not they're even leaders. Cena's like that guy from this episode of Boy Meets World where Shawn joins a cult. The guy wasn't scary though. He didn't dress like a hilbilly and kill people. But he had this power over people bascially saying "you're screwed up and wrong and I and ONLY I can tell you what's right and what to do". It's the same mental gymnastics Cena and the WWE like to do to get people to cheer him, like somehow the people are wrong for choosing to boo him.

So, I'll read other people's posts when I'm done, so if I copied, oops.
There's nowhere for Bray to go at this point. He spent months feuding with the up and coming star in Daniel Bryan, and was unceremoniously dumped in a week.
He then turned to Cena, screwed with him for months, and then got dominated in the end. You can put him in the row with every other heel that had a monster run, then was slayed by the white knight. Khali, Umaga, all the way down to Ludvig Borga and beyond. He's nothing but a paper threat, and now he has no credibility to face anybody else. He's already gone against the present and the future, and lost to both.
To be honest, the singing of "the whole world" and the constant promos that really didn't go anywhere for the last month, it's probably for the best. I doubt this had any long term legs, but I'm disappointed because the start was sooooo good.
Oh well. Shelf him with Snitsky & The Boogeyman. Maybe Heidenrich can say hello.
