This whole thing proves that evil won in the end anyway (though due to non-story stuff). It's Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, what did you expect? I fear we'll just re-do the entire Bryan chasing the belt story line once he returns, hoping to strike lightening twice. Yup, that was the one reason I wanted something like an interim champ. Just something to give him a shot when he returned to avoid having to sit through months of this same story again and now would rather him sit out until the Rumble and win the Mania shot there.

It should've been someone like Vince naming the interim champ rather than Trips/Steph stripping him, so that it doesn't seem hopeless, if that makes sense. The whole fact that Steph had Bryan injured (in kayfabe terms) with the Kane attacks is gonna get ignored, which sucks.

Yeah, I even had a thought that maybe Bryan would come out and bring Vince out, give the belts to him because he couldn't stomach giving them to Trips and Steph, leading Vince to guaran-damn-teeing him a shot when he came back because of what Steph and Hunter did along with him proving Vince wrong. Just something we don't have to sit through the same crap we did for the last near year.

Well, looks like I won't be watching again until maybe Summerslam. Maybe...

This also annoys me because this is the second time in less than a year that the title has been vacated, and we'll have to spend time without a proper champion.

Most important thing is that Bryan takes the time needs to rehab properly. It sucks huge that his title reign had to end this way, but his own health and chances of a continuing career in pro wrestling is much more vital.

If the choices were between Bryan rushing back (from. freaking. NECK SURGERY!) or freeing up time to heal properly, I'm glad they made the right choice.
That said, it would have been nice if they had written him off by showing him a bit of respect. Something like "Daniel Bryan showed that he was, and IS, an A+ player. He handled everything we threw at him and came out on top. He's going through a lot right now, personally, professionally, and mentally. The WWE needs an active Champion, and in time, no matter what we may or may not do to stop him, we're sure that he'll be that champion again. Godspeed, Daniel. We'll be waiting for you when you get back."

Just keep Bryan out until the Rumble and do the whole surprise return and win bit. Since they are taking the belt off of him, just keep him gone and healing up everything instead of just his neck. Cole mentions that there are rumors that a former world champion is going to return from injury at the Rumble. Crowd counts down to the #30 entrant. {Spoiler}"Booyaka! Booyaka!"

Which probably could've been accomplished a lot greater if they had Vince McMahon do the honors of announcing Bryan's injury/his title being vacated rather than Steph and HHH being the smug bastards that they are and making that announcement.

I don't have a problem with DB being stripped of the title.
It's the manner in which it has been done.
He's still being labelled as B+, a goat, a troll, a farm animal, etc....
Basically Wrestlemania meant nothing

Lol, so the fans moaning for months and months for Daniel Bryan to be champion has likely resulted in the exact opposite.
The fact is, the WWE 'Universe' is so blind and pig ignorant that they have no sense of what was right. They got what they wanted, and now it's their fault that the guys career is, in effect, over.

Fans supporting Daniel Bryan caused his neck injury? I guess when Kevin Nash blew his quads, the fans must have REALLY wanted him to run across that ring.

GUYS, let's look at the bright side. Everyone always complains about how worthless the United States and Intercontinental Championships look compared to the main title, but by constantly vacating it they're making those two belts look like gold! Or at least a very well polished copper bowl.

The only thing I'm angry about is why they continue to allow (or order) Bryan to do that stupid diving headbutt.
STOP IT ALREADY.
You have the best wrestler in the world on TV, why destroy him doing high spots that any shmuck can pull off?

The guy was working with an injury that probably could have been maintained on a lighter, non-main event schedule. He could have gone to surgery, and come back for his shot. The spoilt and brat like element of the universe pushed and pushed the WWE into putting him onto a heavier main event schedule, when it's clear they were unaware of the consequences. Do you think they were hesitant to push Bryan because he wasn't POPULAR? for goodness sake, it was because he was working INJURED. The universe got their payoff at WM, good for them. Daniel Bryans payoff will probably an insurance cheque in the mail. I hope the majority of spoilt 'feed it to me now' fans are content.
