Dean Ambrose ran out in street clothes, and countered Seth's generic rock with some generic rock of his own. Roman Reigns meanwhile, keeps the shield getup AND the shield theme song with no more SIERRA HOTEL at the start. So is this a quiet end to the once great Shield or are Ambrose and Reigns still technically together?

Judging what happened after Raw was over, I still think the Shield is together. By that I mean Ambrose and Reigns will continue to be bros. They'll have the other's back until they feud with each other. They've just started doing more solo things rather than being together all the time. It's like Triple H and Shawn with DX in the mid 2000s. They're still together but they can do solo things as they please.

Pretty much. The Shield has died a quiet death.
And is it just me, or has Reigns got a slightly remixed version of the Shield theme?

Honestly I kind of see where they're coming from. The Shield already did everything that you could really do with them. There was nothing left for them to accomplish as a unit. They beat Evolution twice in a row, after all, a group that's pretty much the gold standard of stables from this era. Where exactly can you go with the group after that?
Still it's sad that we may never see another great Shield six-man for a long while.

Yeah, I think Ambrose and Reigns are going to be like Benoit and Mongo post-Horsemen. Doing their own thing, but having each other's back.

Yeah, they kinda set up last week with Dean wanting to go after Seth and Roman targeting Orton and Hunter. It is an interesting way to do it, they share a common enemy but are going after them in different ways (which also plays into Seth being the one that held them together funny enough).

If by quietly you mean like 3 segments on RAW, then yeah - that's pretty quiet.

The fact Reigns doesn't even seem to give a shit about Rollins is really bothering me. This is a guy he was tag champs with, he should be more pissed then Ambrose is. Instead he's more occupied with manipulating Vickie into getting into the Battle Royale. Did he just pass out after Seth hit him the first time and he still doesn't know what happened?

They are BLATANTLY building Triple H vs. Roman Reigns, and don't give a damn about anything else. Why can't WWE do both that and Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose at the same time, so they all interact and continue the story from before? WWE did the same thing with Bryan just "forgetting" about Triple H, Orton, and Batista and facing...... Kane. It really pisses me off so much how they make it seem like Reigns is "above" Rollins and Triple H is the real villain or something. What a way to build up a new heel, right?

It's the vibe I got too but I'd also like to see them help each other in situations when needed. In that they've gone their separate ways but have each other's back. Personally, I'm loving how they chose Dean Ambrose to stay babyface, he's one of the best they have now.

Yeah, they clearly tooled with the mix of the track, beyond cutting the intro. To be honest, it worked and really felt like Roman's theme, regardless of how bad I want to resent him for pretty much absorbing all the Shieldness of the Shield. He probably needs it more than the others, though, because despite logic dictating that Rollins would be in the ladder match, all I care about is Ambrose/Rollins. They're both killing it with this feud!

Yup.
The more I think about it, the more I realize that the reason Roman isn't worrying himself with Rollins or even Ambrose had he turned heel, and the reason is that WWE aren't confident that the fans would automatically back Roman, which is what they'd want.
So instead of having the obvious feud, they just let Roman have all the cool stuff quietly in the hopes that he's the next big main eventer.

He's been handled like glass for so long that at this point I'm honestly just waiting for the moment someone trips and we find out if Reigns shatters or bounces.

I worry for Reigns. He's a perfectly serviceable big guy, but I can just see fans turning on him en masse, like it's starting to happen here, based solely on how WWE will (apparently) be pushing him. And it's early enough in the timeframe for it to hit fever pitch just in time for his (supposed) crowning moment at WrestleMania XXXI.
