Can't see how Cena possibly could have either. Really oh i don't know maybe play off self doubt for a couple months showing range as someone doubting his own talent before having to prove himself and beat someone like Rollins or miz or someone called up from NXT.

It's okay, Brock was taking sympathy on Cena too so I guess neither of them were trying hard

No the clear Answer was Rusev. No one from NXT needs to his the Cena ceiling as soon as they are called up.

If Cena beat any of those guys, people would just complain that they were buried instead.

See, him having his doubts and not knowing if he could even face Brock again would be interesting. That would actually sell the vulnerability that they tried to push so hard throughout the show and make the guy a well rounded character. Nope, he's gonna "make a statement to Brock!" Because even after getting his ass kicked Cena can't legitimately be vulnerable. I get where they are coming from, but "I'm going to get creamed" right before he does get creamed doesn't really sell the rematch, which he will assuredly lose by pretty much everyone's estimation. You can't really have Brock devour all hope if there isn't any. I don't like what they're doing with it, exactly, but I get why they are doing it. I understand what they're trying to do, but there's quite a bit of middle ground between "I'm going to get creamed" and "Rrragh, I'm gonna beat his ass even though he destroyed me last time and I've literally done nothing different!"

I was making a example as long as it's someone that he has to beat it could work and if he plays it right could actually gain more fans for him

I can accept this from Cena so long as he's getting beaten again at NOC. Otherwise it's just pure idiocy

Only way they can go is that Brock murders Cena even worse at NOC.

Could Cena be retiring and this is their way of doing it? Should I even be entertaining that idea?

The WWE wouldn't have Cena beat Brock a month after Summerslam, would they? I mean, I know they do a lot of dumb shit, but that would be pretty darn stupid even for them.

I'd love it if the rematch is a recreation of Batman vs Guy Gardner The WWE wouldn't have Cena beat Brock a month after Summerslam, would they? I mean, I know they do a lot of dumb shit, but that would be pretty darn stupid even for them. I wouldn't put it past them

After watching this crapfest of a RAW I think Cena is gonna win at Night of Champions. He's found his inner beast and will now torment us for all enternity. God have mercy on my TV.

Brock can't murder Cena much worse, short of the literal. At the very least it's going to be a more competitive match.
It's a fascinating tipping point for damn sure. You can really feel the eyes of history on the NoC match, if that's not too bloody stupid a way to put it.
