Reigns' booking is what's killing him, His weaknesses are being brought to the forefront.
1) he isn't good at long matches (depending on opponent) 2) not good on the mic 3) Bland look
Solutions
1) Make his matches quick & Dominant ala Goldberg/Warrior (Unless he's in there with someone who can carry him to a long match) 2) Have him say few words that are to the point, again like Goldberg's "Who's next" 3) Have him take the vest off during matches, We still see the same Shield look we know and love but it's slightly tweaked
His booking needs sorting

It reminds me of when WWE started pushing Batista in 2004.

He needs a lil buddy/manager. I think I said this in another thread but if they called up a guy like Enzo to act as mouthpiece/manager it'd be perfect because he could get in trouble and let Reigns make the save for him. Stuff like that.

Don't f*** with Roman Reigns because he's a Bad Bad Man.

In terms of Romans, he's between Diocletian and Maximinus Thrax.

They put him into matches that are too long, where's he's expected to sell too much, and the promos they give him are utter shite.
No wonder he struggles.

I enjoy how people are like HE'S BEING FORCED DOWN OUR THROATS. Like he's been hotshotted the title and is on some 3,000 and 0 streak while no one cheers him on.

The arguments to prove reigns is horrible are all fallacies. It's easier to just say you don't like the man than to stumble through a point with a biased foundation and highly subjective opinions used as fact.

Or you know he's being pushed ever so slowly to the top, and the fans are behind him pretty heavy. I'm not saying if he's good or bad, but the idea that a person can be in the wwe for 2+(which will be 3 if the wm rumors are correct) years and never hold the main title and be pretty over with with fans for most of that time, be considered being pushed down our throats or too fast? If this was any other weekly episodic program/sport Reigns would be a defending champ or achieved whatever goal he was gunning for.

Look what WWE did with Warrior and Kevin Nash who were both even worse a "ring worker" than Reigns. Reigns isn't gonna cut crazy promos like Warrior it's not his style he's too laid back for that. He lets his spear, his knockout punch, and his powerbomb do the talking for him that's all he needs. I do see Reigns being the next Kevin Nash meaning if TNA ever gets Ted Turner as an owner, you can be sure he'll convince Reigns with his big pockets to show up unannounced at Impact tapings and "take over".

He is exactly what I didn't want in the main event scene. Absolutely awful. 1000 points for those who can guess whom do you want to be in the main event scene

He needs to turn up the intensity in the ring. Lackadasical is the wrong word, because that implies he's loafing, but he's doesn't have the urgency that a guy like him should have. I think he's doing alright for himself but he's not exciting.

I think his problem is more about the booking than about him. He's progressing nicely as a worker and on the mic, but he probably isn't going to fit into the cookie-cutter babyface role as neatly as WWE would want him to.
Personally, I'd like to see him slowed down a little bit once Bryan comes back and put into a feud over a secondary title with someone like Cesaro. This way you keep him busy without burying him down the card or overshadowing Bryan.

I think he's doing alright for himself but he's not exciting. IMO, that's the problem with his moveset in a nutshell. Lots of big moves to knock his opponent down hard, but no real way to string them together - as such, there's always dead time between his moves, instead of the steady flow of Five Moves of Doom that you'll get from a Cena or Hart or even face Orton.

If you think about his progression thus far, though, his moveset makes perfect sense for where he's been. As a tag guy, his moves served one of two purposes. They either were the "house of fire hot tag" spots, where the crowed wanted nothing but impact move after impact move, or they were done in conjunction with Ambrose or Rollins hitting the "in between" spots, the aerial stuff once the opponent was down. I get his moveset, totally do, but he does need some transition stuff since, well, he has to make up for not having a tag partner out there to get their stuff in as a compliment to his.

The one thing I liked about him was his spear, and that has been looking weak AF. He should stop dogging it.

One of the worst parts of the WWE currently.
