I don't know why we don't get more of a back story....can anyone actually explain what Bray Wyatt's basic motivations are? In what way has he 'saved' Rowan and Harper? What's his attraction?

His feuds aren't what turned me away from him but that Bray says the same general thing every week with no real meaning. What does half his stuff even have to do with wrestling? He seems to be having fun acting like a student who just figured out Kierkegaard's views on life. But its not entertaining me anymore. Oh, Christ, yes. He reminds me of a college freshman who suddenly has it all figured out and showed up at a high-school house party to hold court in a corner while ogling the jailbait. Rowan and Harper are the two stoners hanging on to give him credibility. Some exposition would have been nice about six months ago when he started talking about Sister Abigail; maybe then we might have had a female family member. Somebody decided against it because they might have had to plan an endgame for the Family and nobody was ready to do that yet.

Main Event Player?
So if you're not in the position of Brodus Clay, there's nowhere else to go but up!

Honestly Bray was never that good. He cuts a good promo but is pretty awful in the ring.

Thinking on it some more, I'm just confused. He just won a feud with Chris Jericho, and yet somehow Jericho came out of it looking better than Bray. Not really sure how that happened.

Bray isn't officially done as a main event player but he is losing his coveted status as an IWC fave. People here are starting to become disenfranchised with him and his act. Bray actually improved in ring wise but his overall act needs freshening up. Like the Undertaker during his career, The Wyatts needs an extended break and gimmick retooling. Winning matches and feuds won't spice them back up. Going full chaotic evil and having a tangible goal will.

I'm glad.
The silly hillbilly gimmick is just that...silly. Sheep masks and mumbo jumbo promos? It just screams 1995 along with T.L. Hopper and Duke "the Dumpster" Drose. I never could buy into this character because he was around as Husky Harris doing nothing before it. That's the problem to me...it's like Ryback...he was well known as Skip Sheffield before that. They can change names, looks and characters but to me they are the same characters they made their debut as. In the end...Bray Wyatt is just Husky Harris with a bad southern accent trying to be creepy with his rambling promos. The other two remind me of the oddities from the late 90's. Anyways, I'm glad they are not main eventers as I think they would wear thin real quick.

I lost interest in Wyatt a while ago. While his delivery of promos is fantastic, he's just not saying anything of value. I pretty much zone out during his promos now.

I've been hoping for them to take a break and come back as full on batshit insane monster destroyers ever since the Cena feud. I fully believe that is what's needed for them to be seen as legitimate threats again. Not having them on tv at all for a while is preferable to watching them be made to look like incompetent chumps every week.

I'm still enjoying the gimmick, but more really needs to be done with it. More characters need involvement to really make the Wyatts shine. Undertaker had Bearer and eventually Kane to help make him interesting and fleshed out. Bray's mystique is on a similar level. How did Harper and Rowan get involved? What more can we know about Sister Abigail without outright introducing her as a character? Are there more family members? What gave Harper and Rowan a higher rank than them?

they wanted Cena to have a reason to face Rock, it wasn't about the title. "Give me a rematch." "No." "Come on, you want it just as much as me. You only won that because I got cocky, you want to prove you can really beat me as much as I want to prove I can beat you." "Fair enough." There, match booked. Cena: Hey Rock lets have a rematch at Wrestlemania 29 and lets have it be for your title. What do you say? Rock: Nah Cena: *whines* oh come on Rock: Nah Cena: Come on.... Rock: Nah Cena: Come on.... Rock: Nah Cena: Come On... Rock: Awww Cena: Yes. Now with that match booked this will be my greatest main event ever.

For those people making comparisons to Punk, well...Punk was able to completely reinvent himself. I personally thought that as a character, Punk was best as the SES leader. Punk did very good as the snarky anti-authority character too, which was essentially himself...but I never expected that to happen. I don't think that Wyatt will have that same opportunity. First off, he's not nearly on the same caliber of talent that Punk was, nor does he have the ability to reinvent himself yet again. I know he did it first with Husky Harris, but anything outside of his Wyatt character just doesn't sound very appealing because his character does hide his limitations as a performer. What I'm essentially saying is Bray Wyatt doesn't really have the same ability to do what Punk did because they are two different kinds of performers. I guess if anyone would be a safe Punk comparison, it would be someone like Ambrose, because I can actually see Ambrose in a Punk-style role. I'll do you one better: comparing Wyatt to Punk is senseless either way. Punk was presented as a credible upper midcard face for two years before the Straight Edge Society and New Nexus nonsense. Bray got fed to Cena less than a year into his current run.
