Why did Scotland stay? I think for two reasons. One, the Yes movement did not have a clear concise plan for separation and that gray area made it very easy for the argument for No to be made. The second is, like it or not, economically, I'm not convinced independent Scotland could have hacked it without some commitments. Of course, no one was going to make those promises at the risk of alienating the English.
Well, eyes on Westminster tomorrow. They better have gotten the message to take the independence mindset and the strong turn out in Scotland seriously. They will not get a fair warning if it comes around again.

Well, considering how close the vote was, I don't think we've heard the last of Scotland's potential independence.
