You must either hate Roman or want to have his babies. No in between. Lies there is a between. Lots of haters have hate boners for Reigns and want to hate f*** him. I don't blame them. You hate your mortal enemy more when he's super gorgeous with an amazing mane of hair! TOTALLY UNFAIR I don't even want to like-f*** Reigns.

I'm not Reign's biggest fan, but is it really necessary to point out every single thing (no matter how small) that may indicate a push? Considering the way most of these discussions go, I really think they're unnecessary. The only reason the discussion has gone this way (and it certainly did go that way) is because people were dicks to the OP for making a rational observation. That's what is unnecessary, not the discussion itself.

Here's the current problem with booking Reigns: he needs either some clean losses to build up sympathy, or some clean wins to build up dominance. There either needs to be a redemption story (can he snap his losing streak with a Rumble win?) or an aura of invincibility (have him squash the entire heel mid-card on his way to the Rumble). Right now, he's a guy who can't beat Rollins, can't beat the Big Show, and who needs 10 minutes to beat Fandango. And the casual fan is supposed to believe that he can beat Lesnar? I get that they need him to work on promos and selling in long matches, but save that for Smackdown and the house shows. On RAW, it should be all about telling the story. The casual fan isn't as dumb as they think they are. The casuals on all of social media find the Big Show feud terrible. They damn sure remember when Reigns beat Rollins clean on Raw before his injury was announced the next day. WWE books their shows as if a new viewer will be watching for the first time every week (which does happen) Thats why they say this match or this encounter never happened because they book there show like some one new will always tune in for the first time. As a long time viewer since I was 3 it's frustrating as an adult watching this because nothing is new and has been done in some way shape or form. They need to book like an actual television show that has continuity at all times. But they won't because God forbid someone watching won't understand what's happening and if they enjoy what they see they won't go on WWE.com to learn the damn storyline.

Considering the way most of these discussions go, I really think they're unnecessary. Or sanction an all-purpose "Reigns becoming the guy" thread for this kind of thing? I understand what you're saying. But this is a big deal. This is the future of the company being put on the shoulders of someone else. Not discussing it--even something like this--understates its relevance. I don't think there needs to be a new thread for this every single day, but a general thread might suffice.

I figure this warrants discussion. I'd like to see some people try and claim after that that he's not about to be shoved so far down our throats that our asses are going to be Superman-punching people by April. Whilst I think it is in fact significant that Reigns is at the end of the video and could mean he is line for a big push, I am so sick of the expression "shoved down our throats" every time the company gets behind a wrestler that my eyes glazed over.

Yeah relax because WWE network subscribers aren't important and their opinion of who they want to be the guy or guys (There needs to be more than one) don't matter. You're reading far too much into the credits of a f***ing tv show.

It's gonna come off like I'm playing both sides of the fence but I'll say this.
Roman being the last image you see in the credits absolutely means something. The people that are trying to say otherwise haven't been paying attention. Notice how the Smackdown credits ended with Undertaker for years and years because he was the face of the brand? f***'s sake, how long was Cena the final image to the Raw credits? It shows that they are committed to doing...something with Roman. Maybe not Rumble win but they are planning on pushing dude like a mofo during this next year. It's not pointless to point out, it's a good indication that the marketing train is about to go HAM and run on Diesel Roman fuel for a while.
I'm tired of everybody getting uppity about Roman too but this is something worth noting. Not worth getting upset about though.

And it goes back decades, like how after WM VI the Superstars intro was changed to an Ultimate Warrior theme.

Yeah. The "Roman Haters" vs. The "Roman push denying contrarions" is already old.
Roman is clearly being set up for big things. Not everything he does deserves a thread but, this is very symbolic whichever way you view Roman's impending push. I am surprised they didn't wait until he was solidifyed a little more.
